Measurement of polarographic limiting currents at equilibria made it possible at pH 3-7 to simultaneously determine concentrations of benzaldehyde, of its hydrazone and of the carbinolamine derivative. The dependence of concentration of carbinolamine at equilibrium on pH indicated presence of its di-, mono-, and unprotonated forms. Acid dissociation constants of the formation (pKa1≈3.2) of the diprotonated form and of the dissociation of the monoprotonated form of carbinolamine (pKa2≈4.7) were estimated. The equilibrium constants of formation (K1) and dehydration (K2) of the carbinolamine intermediate were determined.  相似文献

The method developed in this work for the separation and preconcentration of Cr(III) is based on its retention by an Amberlite XAD-2 copolymer resin functionalized with 5-palmitoyl-8-hydroxyquinoline (oxine), abbreviated XAD-POx, with the ligand covalently bound to the copolymer. Cr(III) sorption was quantitative within the pH range 4.5–7.0 and Cr(VI) was not retained. The Cr(III) held by the resin column was eluted with a hot solution of H2O2 in pH9.0 aqueous NH3–NH4Cl buffer, and Cr oxidized to CrO42– was rejected by the chelating cation-exchanger column. Any Cr(VI) originally present with Cr(III) could be reduced with an acidic solution of H2O2, and retained by the column yielding total Cr results, Cr(VI) being determined from the difference. The resin showed a maximal preconcentration factor of 60 for Cr(III), the LOD and LOQ being 9.3 and 30.1 nmol L–1, respectively. The developed preconcentration-speciation analysis was finished with a diphenylcarbazide (DPC) spectrophotometric procedure suitable for conventional laboratories. The resin showed excellent salt tolerance, enabling Cr analysis in seawater, and was stable over extended use. All the interferents of this procedure that normally occur in an electroplating effluent, a blended coal CRM, and a standard steel sample could be removed by the recommended procedure, by use of partial and total selectivity at the adsorption and desorption stages, respectively, enabling preconcentration and colorimetric determination of chromium in various complex matrices.  相似文献

In the present work, the synthesis, photochromism and electrochemistry of a novel material 1, 1-(4-[3,4-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)cyclopent-3-en-1-yl]phenyl)-2,5-di-2-thienyl-1H-pyrrole, with pendant dithienylethene (DTE) photochromic units are described. It should be noted that the system 1 can be reversibly and efficiently switched between open (1o) and closed (1c) states by light in both solution and in the solid poly(methyl methacrylate) matrix. It is also noteworthy that the two isomers (1o and 1c) of this novel system 1 can be smoothly polymerized on ITO by electrochemical means. Surprisingly, the DTE unit in 1 does not retain its photochemical switching properties after immobilization onto ITO. The morphology of the polymer film was investigated by AFM analysis. Furthermore, it was found that the polymer exhibited remarkable electrochromic features that can be switched from green in the neutral state to violet state under applied external potentials without disturbing the photochromic units.  相似文献

In this study, in-situ ionic liquid based dispersive liquid?liquid microextraction method for enrichment of tetracyclines before liquid chromatographic analysis has been improved. A 1-benzyl-3- methylimidazolium chloride was used as an ionic liquid. To increase extraction efficiency, some optimization parameters (amount of ammonium hexafluorophoshate, extraction time, centrifugation time, ratio of ionic liquid/salt) were investigated. At optimized conditions, enrichment factors of four tetracycline antibiotics (tetracycline, chlortetracycline, methacycline, doxycycline) were between 25 and 98. The residues of tetracyclines were not found in the studied real samples. For the accuracy of the method, the concentration of 50 and 250 μg/L of standard tetracycline mixture solutions were spiked to the blank real milk, honey and egg samples and the percentage recoveries were obtained in the range of 75.8–109.7%.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group and ? be a family of subgroups of G closed under conjugation and taking subgroups. We consider the question whether there exists a periodic relative ?-projective resolution for ? when ? is the family of all subgroups H ≤ G with rk H ≤ rkG ? 1. We answer this question negatively by calculating the relative group cohomology ?H*(G, 𝔽2) where G = ?/2 × ?/2 and ? is the family of cyclic subgroups of G. To do this calculation we first observe that the relative group cohomology ?H*(G, M) can be calculated using the ext-groups over the orbit category of G restricted to the family ?. In second part of the paper, we discuss the construction of a spectral sequence that converges to the cohomology of a group G and whose horizontal line at E 2 page is isomorphic to the relative group cohomology of G.  相似文献

The possibility of using ionic liquid based chitosan sorbent for the separation and preconcentration of fluoroquinolone antibiotics (marbofloxacin, enoxacin, ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, and enrofloxacin) has been studied. For this reason, different ionic liquids were prepared and coated on the chitosan sorbent. The conditions of the preconcentration of fluoroquinolones on a microcolumn have been optimized and the extraction efficiencies of the prepared sorbents have been compared. The compounds were eluted with 5 mL of 20% NH3 (v/v, MeOH) solution and determined by HPLC with diode array and fluorescence detector. The limits of detection were found as 4.23 µ g L?1 for marbofloxacin, and 1.09 µg L?1 for enoxacin; 3.23 × 10?3 µg L?1 for ofloxacin; 8.39 × 10?3 µg L?1 for ciprofloxacin; and 19.50 × 10?3 µg L?1 for enrofloxacin. The developed method was applied for the analysis of fluoroquinolone in milk, egg, fish, bovine, and chicken samples and the recoveries were obtained in the range 70–100%.  相似文献

Positively charged silver nanoparticles, Ag [+], obtained by UV-assisted reduction of silver nitrate using branched poly(ethyleneimine) (BPEI) and 4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid (HEPES) solutions as reducing agents, were immobilized on glass surfaces to produce substrates active in surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). Negatively charged silver nanoparticles, Ag [-], synthesized via a modified citrate reduction method, were also investigated for comparison. At a sparse surface coverage of 30 nanoparticles/microm(2), substrates with immobilized Ag [+] showed increasing SERS sensitivity to a variety of anions in water in the order SO(4)(2-) < CN(-) < SCN(-) approximately ClO(4)(-), with corresponding binding constants of 10(5), 3.3 x 10(5), and 10(7) (for both SCN- and ClO(4)(-)) M(-1), respectively. This order followed the Hofmeister series of anion binding in water. Significantly, substrates with Ag [+] allowed limit of detection values of 8.0 x 10(-8) M (8 ppb) and 2.7 x 10(-7) M (7 ppb) for environmentally relevant perchlorate (ClO(4)(-)) and cyanide (CN(-)) anions, respectively. In contrast, substrates with immobilized Ag [-], even upon subsequent modification by a monolayer of BPEI for positive surface charge of the nanoparticles, showed a drastically lower sensitivity to these anions. The high sensitivity of substrates with Ag [+] for anion detection can be attributed to the presence of two types of functional groups, amino and amide, on the nanoparticle surface resulting from UV-assisted fragmentation of BPEI chains. Both amino and amide provide strong binding of anions with Ag [+] nanoparticles due to the synergistic effect through a combination of electrostatic, hydrogen bonding, and dispersive interactions.  相似文献

Nucleolytic activities of some new oxime-type ligand complexes were investigated by neutral agarose gel electrophoresis. Analysis of the cleavage products in agarose gel indicated that all complexes used converted supercoiled pUC18 plasmid DNA to its nicked or linear form. It was found that nucleolytic activities of the complexes depend on the complex concentration, reaction time and the presence of a cooxidant (magnesium monoperoxyphthalate, MMPP) in the reaction mixture. However, the complexes cleaved pUC18 plasmid DNA at all investigated pH values. Nucleolytic activities of complexes were investigated for different complex concentrations (0.1–100 μmol L−1), pH values (6.0–10.0) and reaction times (0–60 min). Molecular modeling studies performed by the Hyperchem Software together with DNA-binding studies showed that planar sites of the complexes intercalated into double stranded DNA. It can be concluded that all oxime-type ligand complexes used can be evaluated as nuclease mimics.  相似文献

The periplasmic Cu(+)/Ag(+) chaperone CusF features a novel cation-π interaction between a Cu(+)/Ag(+) ion and Trp44 at the metal binding site. The nature and strength of the Cu(+)/Ag(+)-Trp44 interactions were investigated using computational methodologies. Quantum-mechanical (QM) calculations showed that the Cu(+) and Ag(+) interactions with Trp44 are of similar strength (~14 kcal/mol) and bond order. Quantum-mechanical/molecular-mechanical (QM/MM) calculations showed that Cu(+) binds in a distorted tetrahedral coordination environment in the Trp44Met mutant, which lacks the cation-π interaction. Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of CusF in the apo and Cu(+)-bound states emphasized the importance of the Cu(+)-Trp44 interaction in protecting Cu(+) from water oxidation. The protein structure does not change over the time scale of hundreds of nanoseconds in the metal-bound state. The metal recognition site exhibits small motions in the apo state but remains largely preorganized toward metal binding. Trp44 remains oriented to form the cation-π interaction in the apo state and faces an energetic penalty to move away from the metal ion. Cu(+) binding quenches the protein's internal motions in regions linked to binding CusB, suggesting that protein motions play an essential role in Cu(+) transfer to CusB.  相似文献
