The database of the relative retention times (RRTs) of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) reported in literature was used to calculate the retention indices (RIs) of all 209 PCB congeners on temperature programmed capillary column Rtx-5. Calculation of retention indices was based on reference series of seven congeners (PCB IUPAC Nos. 18, 52, 101, 143, 185, 203 and 206) that exhibit linear relative retention time behaviour as a function of chlorine number. The calculated indices were compared to those determined in our laboratory as well as to those obtained by other authors. The proposed indices system was applied for identification individual congeners in mixture of Aroclors 1242:1254:1260, using only reference series of PCBs.  相似文献

This article presents a study on screening of microalgal strains from the Peking University Algae Collection and heterotrophic cultivation for biodiesel production of a selected microalgal strain. Among 89 strains, only five were capable of growing under heterotrophic conditions in liquid cultures and Chlorella sp. PKUAC 102 was found the best for the production of heterotrophic algal biodiesel. Composition of the growth medium was optimised using response surface methodology and optimised growth conditions were successfully used for cultivation of the strain in a fermentor. Conversion of algal lipids to fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) showed that the lipid profile of the heterotrophically cultivated Chlorella sp. PKUAC 102 contains fatty acids suitable for biodiesel production.  相似文献

A method is developed for the application of the Flory-Mandelkern equation to the determination of the weight-average molecular weights of individual, broad, unfractionated polymer samples. The method includes appropriate averaging of the sedimentation constants and of the intrinsic viscosity of an unfractionated polymer sample in a θ solution from the velocity sedimentation data. By means of the method, individual samples of polystyrene, poly(isooctyl methacrylate) and of the copolymer of styrene with 20% isooctyl methacrylate prepared under the same emulsion polymerization conditions from commercial monomers have been investigated. Appropriate θ solvents have been found by the Elias method. Equations for the dependence of the sedimentation constants and of the intrinsic viscosities in the θ solvents on the molecular weights have been established for the polymers without fractionation. Osmometric and light-scattering measurements as well as Archibald experiments have shown that by the proposed method the molecular weight cut-off effect is eliminated in the above equations and in the polydispersity parameter M w/M n. Molecular weight distributions have been determined for the polymer samples.  相似文献

Neat and multiple processed polypropylene impact-copolymer (ICPP) were fractionated using series of hydrocarbon solvents with increasing solvent power. The analyses of the fractions obtained in successive extractions showed significant decrease in weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and narrowing the molecular weight distribution (MWD) of investigated samples after extrusions. Although the changes due to thermooxidation were observed in all phases of the system, the most intensive degradation was found in the prevailing PP homopolymer phase.  相似文献

A simple, solvent-free synthetic protocol towards the synthesis of organic self-assembled macromolecules has been established. By employing mechanochemistry using glassware readily available to every organic chemist, we were able to synthesise three novel organic cage compounds exemplarily and to speed up the synthesis of a ferrocene-containing macrocycle by a factor of 288 compared to the solution-based synthesis. The structural investigation of the newly synthesised cages revealed different modes of connectivity from using ferrocene-containing aldehydes caused by the free rotation of the cyclopentadienyl units against each other. By extending the facile solvent-free synthesis to ball-milling, even compounds that show lower reactivity could be employed in the dynamic covalent formation of organometallic cage compounds. The presented protocol gives access to otherwise inaccessible structures, speeds up general synthetic workflows, and simultaneously reduces the environmental impact of supramolecular syntheses.

Three commercially available polypropylene impact-copolymers (ICPP) produced by Innovene (INN), Spheripol (SPH) and Unipol (UNI) technologies were subjected to multiple extrusion using a twin-screw extruder W&P ZSK25 at 220 °C. Processing stability and changes in properties induced by extrusion were investigated. The materials were of similar MFR ∼6 dg/min, similar ethylene contents ∼7.5 wt. % and the same type and level 1200 ppm of phenol/phosphite stabilizer system was used. Ranking INN < UNI < SPH in processing and long-term (LTHA) stabilities observed was primarily related to the reactivity of catalyst residues rather than to other factors, such as contents of ethylene, quantity of extractables, EPR phase composition, levels of ash or individual elements in it. The mechanically demanding multiple extrusion conditions and consequently different extent of processing degradation, however, induced only minimum changes in morphology and impact strength of the solid ICPP matrix. Thus, regardless of changes in melt-flow properties induced by extrusions, all the three grades even after 5th extrusion at 220 °C exhibited Charpy notched impact strength at 23 °C only minimally changed.  相似文献

We consider reflected backward stochastic different equations with optional barrier and so-called regulated trajectories, i.e. trajectories with left and right finite limits. A new method for the determination of the sedimentation coefficient-molecular weight relation is proposed. Based on the very low sensitivity of the corresponding sedimentation coefficient average S 0,1 and the weight-average molecular weight M w (calculated according to the generalized Flory-Mandelkern equation) to changes of the a parameter, the S0,1 and M w values are estimated from constant initial values of the as parameter for all those polymer-solvent systems for which the real as values do not exceed the interval 0.3-0.5. The approximations involved give an error lower than 8.5%, Le., below the experimental errors of the Mw values determined for polydiSDerse samDles. The new method of determining the So -M relation was applied to the system styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (22.6-wt%oacrylonitrile content) in acetone at 25°C and yielded the following relation: S0=2.90 × 10 ?15 M 0,49 sec. Although in the case of this polymer-solvent system the a value of 0.49 is close to the one corresponding to θ systems, the method is shown by model calculations to be of general applicability and especially useful in the case of nonideal polymer-solvent systems.  相似文献
