Es wird über eine spezifische Abtrennung des Urans aus Mischungen radioaktiver Spaltprodukte mittels Dünnschichtchromatographie berichtet. Die bei kurz bestrahlten Uranproben am Uranfleck gefundene Radioaktivität kann auf Grund γ-spektrometrischer Messungen dem ²³⁹Np zugeordnet werden.     

Ein Beitrag zur flammenphotometrischen Caleiumbestimmung in phosphathältiger Lösung

Zusammenfassung Zur Entfernung von Anionen, die eine flammenphotometrische Bestimmung von Calcium stören, wird eine Aufarbeitung der Probe mittels Elektrodialyse beschrieben. Die Wirksamkeit der Anordnung wird durch Versuche mit Radionukliden überprüft.

Summary A method is described for the removal of anions that interfere with the flame photometric determination of calcium. The sample is subjected to electrodialysis. The efficacy of the arrangement was tested by trials with radionuclides.

Vergleich von anionenanalysenergebnissen aus der bestimmung mittels ionenchromatographie und klassischen analysenmethoden

(Comparison of analytical results for common anions obtained by ion chromatography and classical methods.)The concentrations of chloride, nitrate, and sulphate were determined in ground-water samples by ion chromatography and by the classical titrimetric, photometric, and gravimetric methods. The results were compared by an orthogonal regression procedure. The criteria established and the tests of the confidence intervals of the orthogonal regression function indicate that the results obtained by the different analytical methods are similar for chloride and sulphate but not for nitrate.

Zusammenfassung In Fortsetzung einer früheren Arbeit wurde die Verwendbarkeit von Ammoniumphosphordodekamolybdat (APM), Ammoniumgermanododekamolybdat (AGM), Oxingermanododekamolybdat (OGM), Pyridingermanododekamolybdat (PGM), Oxinsilicododekamolybdat (OSM) und Pyridinsilicododekamolybdat (PSM) für Dünnschichtchromatographie untersucht und die Abhängigkeit derR _f -Werte der Alkalimetallionen von der Laufmittelkonzentration (Ammoniumnitrat und Wasser) bestimmt. Gleichzeitig wurden Vorversuche angestellt, eine spezifische Abtrennung des Cäsiums von den Spaltprodukten⁹⁵Zr/⁹⁵Nb,¹⁰⁶Ru,⁹⁰Sr/⁹⁰Y und¹⁴⁴Ce durchzuführen.

Summary As continuation of an earlier study, ammonium phosphododeoa molybdate (APM), ammonium germanododecamolybdate (AGM), oxinegerdodecamolybdate (OGM), pyridinegermanododecamolybdate (PGM), oxininesilicododecamolybdate (OSM), and pyridinesilicododecamolybdate (PSM) were investigated for thin layer chromatography and the relation of theR _f -values of the alkali metal ions to the concentration of the carrier concentration (ammonium nitrate and water) was determined. At the same time, preliminary studies were made with respect to a specific separation of cesium from the fission products⁹⁵Zr/⁹⁵Nb,¹⁰⁶Ru,⁹⁰Sr/⁹⁰Y and¹⁴⁴Ce.

Résumé Comme suite à une publication antérieure, on a étudié les possibilités d'application en chromatographie en couche mince du phosphododécamolybdate d'ammonium (APM), du germanidodécamolybdate d'ammonium (AGM), du germanidodécamolybdate d'oxinium (OGM), du germanidodécamolybdate de pyridinium (PGM), du silicomolybdate d'oxinium (OSM) et du silicododécamolybdate de pyridinium, en déterminant la dépendance des valeurs duR _f des ions métalliques alcalins avec la concentration de l'éluant (nitrate d'ammonium et eau). On a commencé simultanément l'étude de la séparation spécifique du césium d'avec les produits de fission⁹⁵Zr/⁹⁵Nb,¹⁰⁶Ru,⁹⁰Sr/⁹⁰Y et¹⁴⁴Ce.

Beitrag zur Mikrobestimmung von Radiojod-131

Zusammenfassung Die Anreicherung des Jodidions am stark basischen Anionenaustauscher Amberlite IRA-400 (Cl^–) wurde untersucht. Es wird bei Benützung einer Kipp-Austauschersäule eine Möglichkeit der schnellen Elution des Jodidanions in kleinstem Volumen mit 4-m Ammoniumchloridlösung angegeben, was eine quantitative Bestimmung des bei dieser Arbeit verwendeten Radiojodids-131 mit Hilfe eines Flüssigkeitszählrohres erlaubt.

Summary The accumulation of the iodide ion on the strongly basic anion exchange resin Amberlite IRA-400 (Cl^–) was studied. By employing a Kipp-exchanger column, a possibility was provided for the rapid elution of the iodide anion in very small volumes with 4M ammonium chloride solution, and this in turn permits a quantitative determination of the radioactive iodine-131 used in this study, provided a liquid counting tube is used.

Résumé On a étudié l'enrichissement de l'ion iodure sur échangeur anionique fortement basique Amberlite IRA-400 (Cl^–). On propose une possibilité d'élution rapide de l'anion iodure sur un très petit volume avec une solution de chlorure d'ammonium 4M, en employant une colonne échangeuse Kipp, ce qui permet un dosage quantitatif, au moyen d'un tube compteur pour liquide, de l'iodure-131 radioactif.

Dünnschichtchromatographie anorganischer Ionen: Quantitative Bestimmung des Urans

Zusammenfassung Uran kann mittels Dünnschichtchromatographie von störenden Begleitionen abgetrennt und hierauf aktivierungsanalytisch bestimmt werden. Dabei wird das²³⁹Np gammaspektrometrisch gemessen. Die Anwendung auf Uranmaterialien wird gezeigt.

Summary Uranium can be separated from interfering accompanying ions by means of thin layer chromatography and then determined by activation analysis. The²³⁹Np was measured gamma-spectrometrically. The application to materials containing uranium was demonstrated.

Dünnschichtchromatographie anorganischer Ionen. V

Zusammenfassung Dünnschichtchromatographische Trennungen auf Schichten aus Kieselgel-HR, gemischt mit Ammoniumphosphordodekamolybdat bzw. Zinkcyanoferrat(II) und Kobaltcyanoferrat(II) wurden durchgeführt. Für Alkalimetallionen eignen sich Ammoniumphosphordodekamolybdat und Zinkcyanoferrat(II), für zwei- und dreiwertige Elemente Ammoniumphosphordodekamolybdat und Kobaltcyanoferrat(II). Eine Trennung des Mutter-Tochter-Systems Strontium-90/Yttrium-90 wurde durchgeführt und für die Systeme Barium-140/Lanthan-140, Barium-131/ Cäsium-131 und Cäsium-137/Barium-137 Trennungen mit Modellsubstanzen beschrieben.

Thin-layer chromatography of inorganic ions. V

Summary Thin-layer chromatographic separations were carried out on layers consisting of silica gel-HR, mixed with ammonium phosphododecamolybdate or zinc cyanoferrate(II) and cobalt cyanoferrate(II). Ammonium phosphododecamolybdate and zinc cyanoferrate(II) are suitable for alkali metal ions, while ammonium phosphododecamolybdate and cobalt cyanoferrate(II) are suitable for di- and trivalent elements. A separation was conducted of the mother-daughter system strontium-90/yttrium-90 and separations with model substances were described for the systems barium- 140/lanthanum-140, barium-131/cesium-131 and cesium-137/barium-137.
