The enantiomeric separation of a novel series of twenty-eight racemic mixtures of citalopram analogues was performed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Due to the effectiveness of citalopram as an antidepressant drug, the development of new compounds based on its chemical structure is interesting, and their enantiomeric separation is needed to allow further pharmacokinetic studies. Several bonded cyclodextrin (both native and derivatized) and macrocyclic glycopeptide based chiral stationary phases (CSPs) were evaluated for their ability to separate this set of compounds via HPLC. Polar ionic, polar organic, and reversed phase modes were tested. Twenty-five of the racemic mixtures were separated with resolutions and enantiomeric selectivities up to 2.9 and 1.33, respectively. A total of eighteen baseline separations were achieved, while seven compounds were partially separated. Vancomycin based columns operated in the polar ionic mode resulted in the greatest number of separations. Lastly, the chromatographic behaviors of similar compounds were compared based on their chemical structure and also on the chiral selectors used.  相似文献

Improvements in the power level of sources near 1550 nm and in the efficiency of waveguide frequency doublers enabled us to lock a frequency-doubled source directly to the 5S(1/2) ? 5D(5/2) two-photon transitions near 778 nm. We obtained a sufficiently powerful second-harmonic signal, exceeding 2 mW, by doubling an external-cavity diode laser that was amplified by an erbium-doped fiber amplifier in a periodically poled LiNbO(3) channel waveguide. Our experimental scheme can be used for realizing compact, high-performance frequency standards near 1550 nm for fiber-optic communication and sensing applications.  相似文献

We prove a generalization with sharp constants of a classical inequality due to Hardy to Carnot groups of arbitrary step, or more general Carnot–Carathéodory spaces associated with a system of vector fields of Hörmander type. Under a suitable additional assumption (see Eq. 1.6 below) we are able to extend such result to the nonlinear case \(p\not= 2\). We also obtain a sharp inequality of Hardy–Sobolev type.  相似文献

Photogeneration of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) finds applications in fields as different as nanomedicine, art preservation, air and water depollution and surface decontamination. Here we present photocatalytic nanoparticles (NP) that are active only at acidic pH while they do not show relevant ROS photo-generation at neutral pH. This dual responsivity (to light and pH) is achieved by stabilizing the surface of TiO2 NP with a specific organic shell during the synthesis and it is peculiar of the achieved core shell-structure, as demonstrated by comparison with commercial photocatalytic TiO2 NP. For the investigation of the photocatalytic activity, we developed two methods that allow real time detection of the process preventing any kind of artifact arising from post-treatments and delayed analysis. The reversibility of the pH response was also demonstrated as well as the selective photo-killing of cancer cells at acidic pH.  相似文献

A rapid method for the simultaneous determination of free glycerol (FG) and total glycerol (TG) in biodiesel by CE using a short‐end multiple injection (SE/MI) configuration system is described. The sample preparation for FG involves the extraction of glycerol with water and for TG a saponification reaction is carried out followed by extraction as in the case of FG. The glycerol extracted in both cases is submitted to periodate oxidation and the iodate ions formed are measured on a CE‐SE/MI system. The relevance of this study lies in the fact that no analytical procedure has been previously reported for the determination of TG (or of FG and TG simultaneously) by CE. The optimum conditions for the saponification/extraction process were 1.25% KOH and 25°C, with a time of only 5 min, and biodiesel mass in the range of 50.0–200.0 mg can be used. Multiple injections were performed hydrodynamically with negative pressure as follows: 50 mbar/3s (FG sample); 50 mbar/6s (electrolyte spacer); 50 mbar/3s (TG sample). The linear range obtained was 1.55–46.5 mg/L with R2> 0.99. The LOD and LOQ were 0.16 mg/L and 0.47 mg/L, respectively for TG. The method provides acceptable throughput for application in quality control and monitoring biodiesel synthesis process. In addition, it offers simple sample preparation (saponification process), it can be applied to a variety biodiesel samples (soybean, castor, and waste cooking oils) and it can be used for the determination of two key parameters related to the biodiesel quality with a fast separation (less than 30 s) using an optimized CE‐SE/MI system.  相似文献
