Liquid sulfur–olefinic reactions at 140°C forming crosslinked polysulfide polymers have been investigated. A systematic approach to the characterization and some structure–property studies on these new polymeric materials has been presented. The olefinic systems of interest are endo-and exo-dicyclopentadiene and an oligomeric alkenyl polysulfide. Equimolar S8–olefinic system copolymers are amorphous and they show no tendency for sulfur crystallization. A correlation has been drawn between chemical structure and glass transition temperature of the copolymers and terpolymers. Mechanical properties and, in particular, chemical stress relaxation of the crosslinked polysulfide polymers have been investigated. 相似文献

Number of bonds formed by sharing an electron pair between two atoms is not restricted to one, it can go beyond four and six is the maximum. While homopolar sextuple bond in Mo2 and W2 has been reported, such a high bond order in heteropolar diatomics has remained elusive. In the pursuit of the sextuple bond in polar diatomics, the present study depicts the existence of such multiple bonds in Rhodium-Scandium hetero-diatom based on relativistic quantum chemical calculations. Different results were generated under different reaction conditions for the multicomponent reactions. Herein, an efficiently improved and mild protocol for the synthesis of dihydropyrimidine derivatives using cheap silver trifluoromethanesulfonate (CF3SO3Ag) as reusable catalyst is explained. With conventional heating and microwave irradiation method, the synthesis of substituted 3,4‐dihydropyrimidine‐2(1H)‐one and 3,4‐dihydropyrimidine‐2(1H)‐thione was achieved in different solvent environments like acetonitrile, water, and under solvent free neat condition. Moreover, the solvents (CH3CN and H2O) containing the CF3SO3Ag were reused for several times without loss of much catalytic activity after separation from the desired products. Thus, the method provides much improved and efficient alternative pathway to the original Biginelli reaction. 相似文献

In this review, we have summarized our work on the immobilization of molybdovanadophosphoric acids onto mesoporous silica and mesoporous carbon by different approaches such as amine functionalization and ionic liquid functionalization. All catalyst materials were well characterized by various ex-situ and in situ techniques for their structural integrity and physico-chemical properties. These materials were tested in different selective oxidation processes to develop environmentally benign protocols for the synthesis of fine chemicals and tried to study their mechanisms. 相似文献

Microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) is potentially useful to recover incremental oil from a reservoir being beyond primary and secondary recovery operations. Effort has been made to isolate and characterize natural biosurfactant produced by bacterial isolates collected from various oil fields of ONGC in Assam. Production of biosurfactant has been considered to be an effective major index for the purpose of enhanced oil recovery. On the basis of the index, four promising bacterial isolates: Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MTCC7815), P. aeruginosa (MTCC7814), P. aeruginosa (MTCC7812) and P. aeruginosa (MTCC8165) were selected for subsequent testing. Biosurfactant produced by the promising bacterial isolates have been found to be effective in the recovery of crude oil from saturated column under laboratory conditions. Two bacterial strains: P. aeruginosa (MTCC7815) and P. aeruginosa (MTCC7812) have been found to be the highest producer of biosurfactant. Tensiometer studies revealed that biosurfactants produced by these bacterial strains could reduce the surface tension (sigma) of the growth medium from 68 to 30 mN m(-1) after 96 h of growth. The bacterial biosurfactants were found to be functionally stable at varying pH (2.5-11) conditions and temperature of 100 degrees C. The treatment of biosurfactant containing, cell free culture broth in crude oil saturated sand pack column could release about 15% more crude oil at 90 degrees C than at room temperature and 10% more than at 70 degrees C under laboratory condition. 相似文献

A new probe (Z)-3-((naphthalen-1-ylmethylene)amino)phenol has been synthesized by condensation reaction between 1-naphthaldehyde and 3-aminophenol for the fluorescent sensing of Ce3+ by “on” mode and dichromate (Cr2O72?) by “off” mode. Metal ions—Ag+, Al3+, As3+, Ba2+, Ca2+, Cd2+, Ce4+, Co2+, Cr3+, Cr6+, Cu2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Hg2+, K+, La+, Li+, Mg2+, Mn2+, Na+, Ni2+, Pb2+, Zn2+and anions Br?, C2O42?, CH3COO?, Cl?, CO32?, F?, H2PO4?, HCO3?, HF2?, HPO42?, I?, MnO4?, NO3?, OH?, S2?, S2O32?, SCN?, SO42? do not interfere. The limit of detection (LOD) for sensing Ce3+ and Cr2O72? ions are 1.286?×?10–7 M and 6.425?×?10–6 M, respectively.

Substituted quinoxaline derivatives are traditionally synthesized by co-condensation of various starting materials. Herein, we describe a novel environmentally benign in water synthetic route for the synthesis of structurally and electronically diverse ninety quinoxalines with readily available substituted o-phenylenediamine and 1,2-diketones using cheap and biodegradable itaconic acid as a mild acid promotor in 1 hours. The reaction is performed at room temperature, which proceeds through cyclo-condensation reaction followed by obtaining the aforesaid nitrogen-containing heterocyclic adducts without performing the column chromatography up to 96% total yields. The simplicity, high efficiency, and reusable of the catalyst merits this reaction condition as “green synthesis” which enables it to be useful in synthetic transformations upto gram scale level. 相似文献

Enantioselective synthesis of organic compounds has been studied by homogeneous catalysts for several years. However, these
catalysts have yet to make a significant impact on industrial scales for fine chemical synthesis. A primary reason is the
designing of a homogeneous asymmetric catalyst, which requires relatively bulky ligands and catalyst recovery and recycling
often causes problems. One of the convincing ways to overcome this problem is to immobilise the asymmetric catalyst onto a
solid support and the resulting heterogeneous asymmetric catalyst system can, in principle, be readily re-used. A large number
of supports such as inorganic oxides including zeolites, alumina, zirconia, silica and organic polymers have been employed
as supports in heterogeneous asymmetric catalysis. Therefore, in this review article we have summarized the work done by us
in our laboratory on the immobilization of chiral transition metal complexes such as Ru, Ir, Mn and Ti onto ordered mesoporous
silica and its asymmetric catalysis. All these immobilized catalysts were well characterized by different physicochemical
techniques to confirm the structural retention of the support as well as the active metal complex after immobilization. This
report includes our asymmetric catalytic investigations in enantioselective reactions such as hydrogenation of ketones, olefins,
oxidation of sulfides and oxidative kinetic resolution of alcohols and sulfoxides through immobilized heterogeneous catalyst
