The action of illumination on the conducting and dielectric properties of lead magnoniobate was investigated. The photostimulated currents were examined and the spectral dependence of photoconductivity in the region of diffuse phase transition was obtained. It was found that the illumination affects the dielectric properties and that its action is memorized at temperatures below room temperature. The role of defect states in the formation of relaxor properties is discussed on the basis of the obtained data.  相似文献

Samples of oriented aerogel based on aluminum oxide are studied by the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique under steady-state and pulse conditions. At least two types of paramagnetic centers interacting with Al nuclei on the surface of aerogel are revealed. Their spectra are characterized by the presence or absence of superhyperfine structure in the EPR spectra, respectively. The X-ray irradiation at room temperature gives rise to the formation of additional long-lived paramagnetic centers of the second kind. Their characteristic decay times for the “fast” and “slow” processes are determined. The interaction of induced paramagnetic centers with protons located on the surface of aerogel is revealed.  相似文献

When probing nuclear spins in materials on the nanometer scale, random fluctuations of the spin polarization will exceed the mean Boltzmann polarization for sample volumes below about (100 nm){3}. In this Letter, we use magnetic resonance force microscopy to observe nuclear spin fluctuations in real time. We show how reproducible measurements of the polarization variance can be obtained by controlling the spin correlation time and rapidly sampling a large number of independent spin configurations. This allows significant improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio for nanometer-scale magnetic resonance imaging.  相似文献

The specific features of a phase transition from a disordered orbital state to an ordered orbital state in an La0.875Sr0.125MnO3 single crystal are investigated using acoustic methods at a frequency f = 500 MHz. The phase transition is accompanied by a distortion of MnO6 octahedra due to the cooperative Jahn-Teller effect and is a first-order phase transition, as judged from the sharp change observed in the damping of acoustic pulses, the acoustic wave velocity, and the temperature hysteresis. It is revealed that the parameters of the acoustic waves change significantly throughout the temperature range of existence of the cooperatively distorted structure. In an external magnetic field, the structural phase transition is shifted toward lower temperatures.  相似文献

The reactions of some acceptors (?CH3, ?OOH, ?CCl3, O3, and Br?) with saturated cyclic hydrocarbons, viz., cyclohexane, cycloheptane, and cyclooctane were studied by the DFT methods based on B3LYP and PBE0 functionals, the method based on the double hybrid functional B2PLYP, a combined ONIOM approach (CCSD:B3LYP)) and the coupled-cluster method (CCSD) using the 6-31+G**, aug-cc-pVDZ, Midi-X, and SVP basis sets. A specific feature of these reactions is that their rates depend on the excess ring energy, although no ring opening occurs in all cases.  相似文献

Spatially inhomogeneous states were induced on the surface of single-crystal lanthanum-strontium manganites by the local application of an external electric field. The dynamics of the growth and relaxation of these states were studied by atomic force microscopy. It is shown that the induced states possess a charge and reveal piezoelectric properties.  相似文献

The time of the nuclear magnetic relaxation of 3He gas in pores of Astronium carbonizate powder is studied as a function of gas pressure. Using the results of the measurements of the spin-echo amplitude, the dependences of the rates of spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxations on the number of helium atoms on the surface, in pores, and in the interparticle space of carbonizate powder have been determined. Analysis of the relaxation rates allows the identification of three possible basic phases of 3He in the system under consideration: solid film, gas phase, and liquid. Moreover, the character of spin kinetics in transitions between these phases has been determined.  相似文献

Sintered oriented nanodiamond arrays with the extremely high concentrations of the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers (up to 103 ppm) were investigated by the W-band (94 GHz) electron spin echo electron paramagnetic resonance techniques. The NV centers were fabricated by the high-pressure high-temperature sintering of detonation nanodiamonds (DND) without the post or prior irradiation of the samples. The processes of polarization and recovery of the equilibrium population of the spin sublevels by optical and microwave pulses have been examined at room temperature in high magnetic fields corresponding to the fine-structure transitions for the NV defects at 94 GHz (3,250–3,450 mT). A long spin coherence time of 1.6 μs and spin–lattice relaxation time of 1.7 ms were measured. The results were compared with those obtained on the NV centers fabricated by the irradiation and subsequent annealing of the commercially available bulk diamonds. It was shown that the relaxation characteristics of the NV defects were similar in the both types of the samples despite the extremely high concentrations of NV defects and isolated nitrogen donors in the sintered DND.  相似文献

The results of studies of shallow donors and deep-level color centers in bulk AlN crystals are presented. Two shallow donors (presumably oxygen located on the nitrogen site and carbon located on the aluminum site) are suggested to exhibit the DX-relaxation. Third shallow donor (presumably silicon on the Al site) shows the shallow donor behavior up to the room temperature and can be observed without light excitation at temperatures above 200 K. The values of the Bohr radius of the shallow donors are estimated. The structure of deep-level color centers (neutral nitrogen vacancy V N) in bulk AlN crystals is determined and analyzed by electron paramagnetic resonance, electron-nuclear double resonance, optical absorption and thermoluminescence induced by X-ray irradiation. Spin-dependent recombination processes in AlN crystals are studied by means of optically detected magnetic resonance.  相似文献
