Temperature-movability dependence of nonthermalized nonequilibrium vacant electron sites in ZnS crystals

The movability of nonequilibrium unthermolized vacant electron sites does not depend on temperature in ZnS crystals, assuming that their energy in ZnS crystals is much higher than the temperature’s contribution to energy, and dissipation mechanisms are dominated by scattering by ions, neutral impurities, and defects.     

Charge carriers responsible for the photo effect and photovoltaic effect in ZnS crystals

Contributions from thermalized and nonequilibrium, nonthermalized charge carriers to the photoeffect and the photovoltaic effect are considered.     

Effect of stress on the ferroelastic phase-transition temperature

On the basis of the expression giving the dependence of the free energy of ferroelastics on temperature, spontaneous strain u, and stress σ, it is shown that the ferroelastic phase-transition temperature changes proportionally to σ^2/3.     

Studying the ferroelastic phase transition in Sb5O7I crystals

The specific heat of a ferroelastic Sb₅O₇I crystal in the vicinity of the ferroelastic phase transition is studied. It is shown that the phase transition in such a crystal is of the first order.     

Temperature dependence of unthermalized nonequilibrium charge carrier mobility in cubic ZnS far from a phase transition

It is shown that if we assume the energy of nonthermalized nonequilibrium charge carriers is independent of temperature, the character of the relationship between temperature and mobility varies from nonlinear to linear and at a certain ratio between scattering mechanisms it is temperature independent.
