A Study of the Surface of Mo-Containing Phosphorus-Modified Catalysts Supported by γ-Al2O3 Using Probe Molecules (CO2 and O2)

The possibility is considered of using probe molecules to estimate the effect exerted by addition of phosphorus to supported Mo-containing catalysts on the dispersion of the active component and the support coverage.     

Quantum-Chemical Investigation of the Mechanism of Transfer of Fluorine in the Reaction of F‐TEDA‐BF4 with Dimethylenebicyclo[3.3.1]nonane

The mechanism of the reaction of the N-fluoro reagent FTEDABF₄ with dimethylenebicyclo[3.3.1]nonane was investigated by the semiempirical PM3 SCF MO method using the Cramer–Truhlar SM5.42R solvation model. It was shown that the mechanism of addition of the fluorine corresponds to classical S _N 2 nucleophilic substitution involving single-electron transfer synchronous with the cleavage–formation of C—F and N—F bonds.     

Imbedding problem with non-Abelian kernel of order p4

This paper considers the imbedding problem for numerical fields and p-groups with nonabelian kernel of order p⁴, two generators and , and defining relations =1, ^p=1, [,,]=1, and [,,]= 1. For p=2 and almost always for odd p, the Hasse principle is valid, and the problem is solvable if and only if all related local problems are solvable. The embedding problem with metabelian kernel

The relationship between the solvability conditions for the embedding problem with metabelian kernel over a p-extension of fields and the associated embedding problem of the first kind with a maximal p-group is studied.
