This article analyzes the kinetics of the decomposition of N-Cl-Valine in aqueous solution, which is formed rapidly by chlorination of Valine with sodium hypochlorite. A general-base catalyzed process not yet described is reported. The experimental evidence shows two competitive decomposition paths: an unimolecular concerted fragmentation process (k = (1.8 ± 0.1) · 10?4 s?1 at 298 K) and the other one is an E2 elimination process whose importance increases with pH and depends on the nature and the concentration of the bases present in the medium. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The reduction of titanocene dithiocyanate in various solvents has been examined using the techniques of polarography, voltammetry, controlled potential electrolysis and cyclic voltammetry. In THF and CH2Cl2, Cp2Ti(NCS)2 undergoes successive one-electron transfer reactions, and by using a combination of electrochemical and EPR techniques it has been possible to confirm the stability of [Cp2Ti(NCS)2]? in these solvents. In DMF, however, an irreversible dimerization follows the first electron transfer.  相似文献

Cyclosiloxane and silsesquioxane-based ferrocenyl and permethylferrocenyl polymers have been used as mediators in amperometric enzyme electrodes for the detection of glucose. Biosensors have been prepared by electrostatically immobilizing the enzyme glucose oxidase (GOx) on electrodes modified with the polymers. The steady-state amperometric response of the sensors is investigated as a function of the applied potential and substrate concentration. The dependence of the sensors response on the structure of the siloxane-framework and on the presence or not of methyl groups on the ferrocenyl units is discussed.  相似文献

European Legislation establishes that the sum of the migration levels of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE), its hydrolysis (BADGE.H2O and BADGE.2H2O) and chlorohydroxy (BADGE.HCl, BADGE.2HCl and BADGE.H2O.HCl) derivatives shall not exceed the limit of 1 mg/kg in foodstuffs or food simulants. A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method combined with mass spectrometry detection using atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) is developed for the separation, quantification and identification of the interesting compounds. Quantification of the analytes was carried out in the single ion recording mode, once their characteristic masses were selected from their full spectra, by using an external calibration. The optimised method was suitable for the migration evaluation of these compounds in different samples.  相似文献

The visibility function of a compact setS E d assigns to eachx S the Lebesgue outer measure of its star inS. This function was introduced by G. Beer in 1972. In 1991, A. Forte Cunto characterized the points of discontinuity of the visibility function in the boundary of a planar Jordan domain. The basic intention of this paper is to extend this characterization to a compact subset ofE d . Under certain assumptions, it is proved here that the visibility function of such a set is continuous at a point if and only if the set of restricted visibility of this point has null Lebesgue outer measure.This paper was written as part of Argentine Research Project 01/TX38.  相似文献

This article deals with the kinetics of decomposition of four isomers: N? Cl-(L)-2-Aminohexanoic acid, N? Cl-(L)-Leucine, N? Cl-(L)-Isoleucine, and N? Cl-(L)-tert-Leucine, in mild acid and basic aqueous solution. An alternative mechanism for this process which takes place through a nitrenium-like ion transition state is proposed. We note that the maximum temperature during reheating can be much greater than the reheating temperature T(r) at which the universe becomes radiation dominated. We show that the standard model anomalous (B+L)-violating processes can therefore be in thermal equilibrium for 1 GeV less, similarT(r)<100 GeV. Electroweak baryogenesis could work and the traditional upper bound on the Higgs mass coming from the requirement of the preservation of the baryon asymmetry may be relaxed. Alternatively, the baryon asymmetry may be reprocessed by sphaleron transitions either from a (B-L) asymmetry generated by the Affleck-Dine mechanism or from a chiral asymmetry between e(R) and e(L) in a B-L = 0 universe.  相似文献

The electrochemical characterization of polymethylferrocenyl dendrimers deposited onto a platinum electrode and their applications as hydrogen peroxide and glucose sensor are described. The redox dendrimers consist of flexible poly(propileneimine) dendrimer cores functionalised with octamethylferrocenyl units. Amperometric biosensors for glucose were prepared by immobilization of glucose oxidase onto these modified electrodes. The influence of the dendrimer generation and the thickness of the dendrimer layer, the effect of the substrate concentration, and the interferences and reproducibility on the response of the sensors were investigated.  相似文献
