We study correlations in the exclusive reaction at rest with complete reconstruction of the kinematics for each event. The inclusive distribution is fairly flat at small invariant mass of the pion pair while a small enhancement in the double differential distribution is observed for small invariant masses of both pion pairs. Dynamical models with resonances in the final state are shown to be consistent with the data while the stochastic HBT mechanism is not supported by the present findings. A simple model is constructed forN¯N annihilations into two non-strange mesons. Determining the ratio of isospin one to isospin zero annihilation by experimental information we predict the branching ratios for these channels. The agreement with experiment is surprisingly good.  相似文献

Based on a computer-assisted analysis of the three-dimensional structure of the binary complex of E.coli dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) with methotrexate, 5-(N-arylnortropan-3-yl)- and 5-(N-arylpiperidin-4-yl)-2,4-diaminopyrimidines 2 and 4 were designed as inhibitors of DHFR. Syntheses of the designed compounds have been carried out. The most potent compound 2a inhibited E. coli DHFR with Ki = 0.49.10?9M. The activities within the series of compounds synthesized could be rationalized by molecular-modelling experiments which served as the basis of this work. Several compounds within the presented series exhibit antimalarial activities in vitro and in vivo.  相似文献

Despite its cultural and nutritional importance for local Aboriginal people, the unusual insect honey produced by Western Australian honeypot ant (Camponotus inflatus) has to date been rarely investigated. This study reports on the honey’s physicochemical properties, its total phenolic, major sugars and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural contents, and its antioxidant activities. The honey’s color value is 467.63 mAU/63.39 mm Pfund, it has a pH of 3.85, and its electric conductivity is 449.71 µSiemens/cm. Its Brix value is 67.00, corresponding to a 33% moisture content. The total phenolics content is 19.62 mg gallic acid equivalent/100 g honey. Its antioxidant activity measured using the DPPH* (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) and FRAP (ferric reducing–antioxidant power) assays is 1367.67 µmol Trolox/kg and 3.52 mmol Fe+2/kg honey, respectively. Major sugars in the honey are glucose and fructose, with a fructose-to-glucose ratio of 0.85. Additionally, unidentified sugar was found in minor quantities.  相似文献

Inclusive proton spectra for the reactions¯pd→3πp, ¯pd→5πp, and¯p dK¯Kmπp are calculated. In addition to nucleon exchange, the rescattering of pions and kaons, and the production and absorption of heavy mesons is evaluated. In the proton spectator momentum regime of 200 to 600 MeV/c, the role of heavy mesons is found to be negligible. The proper counting of the topological variants of pion and kaon rescattering can explain the cross sections with the exception of the¯pd→3πp channel.  相似文献

The ferrimagnetic saturation moment and hexagonal anisotropy constant K1 have been measured at 4K on a Zn2Y single crystal and on polycrystalline BaFe2+2W and SrFe2+2W samples. The moment of Fe2W is in agreement with a collinear spin coupling and with the known site occupation for the Fe2+ ions. The moment of Zn2Y is 9% lower than the value for a collinear configuration.The uniaxial anisotropy of Fe2+ in hexagonal ferrites is discussed and compared with that of Co2+. No noticeable Fe2+ anisotropy is found in Fe2W in contrast to LaM = LaFe2+Fe3+11O19, in which the Fe2+ anisotropy is strong. The difference is attributed to the symmetry difference of the sites occupied by the Fe2+ ions in both compounds. The current theory does not satisfactorily explain the anisotropy and quadrupole splitting of Fe2+ in LaM. From this it is concluded that admixing of 5E states and (or) the influence of a dynamical Jahn-Teller effect cannot be neglected.The dipole-dipole anisotropy is computed for the M, W and Y structure and some deviation from the literature data is found. Using these results, a mean anisotropy of 1.3 to 2.3 cm?1 per Fe3+ ion is found for the three structures.  相似文献
