The electrical and magnetic properties of the tetragonal phase SmCuOSe are reported as a function of the temperature. The optical properties were studied by means of diffuse reflectance spectrum in the UV-Vis range. The electrical resistivity measurements as well as diffuse reflectance spectrum show that SmCuOSe is a semiconductor with an optical band gap (Eg) of 2.6 eV. In this phase, Cu is at its monovalent oxidation state and, as such, it does not contribute to the total magnetic moment, whereas Sm is in its 3+ oxidation state, with a large VanVleck contribution due to the admixture of the fundamental state with higher energy levels.  相似文献

We carried out a mathematical study of 72 chemical elements taking advantage of the chemotopological method. We selected 128 properties to define the elements (physico-chemical, geochemical and chemical properties). Then, we looked for correlated properties and we reduced the number of them to 90. In this way we defined each element as a 90-tuple. Afterwards, we applied principal component analysis and cluster analysis (4 similarity functions and 5 grouping methodologies). Then, we calculated a consensus tree for the 20 dendrograms generated by the CA. Afterwards, we extracted the similarity relationships from the consensus tree and built up a basis for a topology on the set of chemical elements. Finally, we calculated some topological properties (closures, derived sets, boundaries, interiors and exteriors) of several subsets of chemical elements. We found that alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and noble gases appear not related to the rest of the elements. The detection of Allura red (AR) by electrochemical reduction using a different electrode from the conventional mercury electrode is presented. A carbon paste with cobalt (II, III) oxide composite electrode (CoOx/CPE) is reported for the first time for the detection of AR. Moreover, others dyes such as tartrazine (TZ), sunset yellow (SY), amaranth (AM), Ponceaut 4‐R (P‐4R), and Sudan (SD) as well as pharmaceutical agents such as paracetamol (PMC) that are present in samples that contained AR did not show a reduced signal between 0.0 and ?0.3 V, which is the potential range where AR reduction was observed. The surface electroactivity was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The presence of CoOX increased the cathodic peak current for AR by more than 50 % and 65 % via CV and square wave voltammetry (SWV), respectively, compared with an unmodified carbon paste electrode. Under the optimal parameters, (pH=3.0, accumulation time (tACC)=60 s and accumulation potential (EACC)=0.50 V), the detection limit for AR was 0.05 μmol L?1. The new sensor was sensitive and stable for the detection of AR. Moreover, it was easily manufactured and very convenient for food samples such as soft and isotonic drinks as well as chili sauce.  相似文献

An off-line photoirradiation LC fluorimetric method to determine tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4), by photogeneration of biopterin (BIO), is described, as an alternative way to the chemical oxidation procedure. To minimize the uncontrolled BH4 oxidation, due to environmental oxygen, an antioxidant, dithiothreitol (DTT), was used. The acidity of the medium, as well as the presence of hydrogen peroxide, affects the rate of the photoreaction and the nature of the obtained fluorescent photoproducts. The best conditions were achieved by irradiation in hydrochloric acid (0.2 M) medium, in presence of 100 mM hydrogen peroxide, and using an irradiation time of 20 min. The method was tested in the analysis of serum samples containing BH4, and recoveries between 89 and 105% were found. Also, the proposed method allows the resolution of BH4 and BIO, in the same sample, by injection of non-irradiated and irradiated sample aliquots in the chromatographic system.  相似文献

In this work, the removal of Cu2+ from a synthetic effluent has been tested by means of polymer enhanced ultrafiltration (PEUF), using partially ethoxylated polyethylenimine (PEPEI) as water-soluble polymer. Overall, the two necessary steps of a hypothetical continuous process, metal retention (in total recirculation and discontinuous mode) and polymer regeneration (in discontinuous mode), have been confronted individually. On the one hand, the values of temperature (T), transmembrane pressure (ΔP), metal–polymer ratio and pH that maximize both, permeate fluxes and rejection coefficients, have been obtained by ultrafiltration tests, reaching Cu2+ retention coefficients higher than 97%. On the other hand, the polymer regeneration step has been carried out by the electrochemical technique, which consists in the metal electrodeposition on the cathode of an electrochemical cell. In a first step, cyclic voltammetries have been carried out to assure the polymer does not suffer any oxidation or reduction process. From these tests, a cathodic working potential has been selected to minimize hydrogen evolution reaction (−0.7 V vs. Ag/AgCl). Working at this voltage in deposition tests, a pH of 3.3 has been selected from experiments at different pH values. We discussed three dissimilarity measures between dendrograms defined over the same set, they are triples, partition, and cluster indices. All of them decompose the dendrograms into subsets. In the case of triples and partition indices, these subsets correspond to binary partitions containing some clusters, while in the cluster index, a novel dissimilarity method introduced in this paper, the subsets are exclusively clusters. In chemical applications, the dendrograms gather clusters that contain similarity information of the data set under study. Thereby, the cluster index is the most suitable dissimilarity measure between dendrograms resulting from chemical investigation. An application example of the three measures is shown to remark upon the advantages of the cluster index over the other two methods in similarity studies. Finally, the cluster index is used to measure the differences between five dendrograms obtained when applying five common hierarchical clustering algorithms on a database of 1000 molecules.  相似文献

We study numerical approximations of solutions of the following system of heat equations, coupled at the boundary through a nonlinear flux: where p and q are parameters. We prove that the solutions of a semidiscretization in space quench in finite time. Moreover, we describe in terms of p and q the simultaneous versus non‐simultaneous quenching phenomena. We also find the numerical extinction sets. Finally, in order to obtain the correct quenching rates in the non‐simultaneous case we present some adaptive methods. This study examines English speakers' relative weighting of two voicing cues in production and perception. Participants repeated words differing in initial consonant voicing ([b] or [p]) and labeled synthesized tokens ranging between [ba] and [pa] orthogonally according to voice onset time (VOT) and onset f0. Discriminant function analysis and logistic regression were used to calculate individuals' relative weighting of each cue. Production results showed a significant negative correlation of VOT and onset f0, while perception results showed a trend toward a positive correlation. No significant correlations were found across perception and production, suggesting a complex relationship between the two domains.  相似文献
