A series of pH‐triggered charge‐reversal polyurethane copolymers (PS‐PUs) containing methoxyl‐poly(ethylene glycol) (mPEG), carboxylic acid groups, and piperazine groups is presented in this work. The obtained PS‐PUs copolymers can form into stable micelles at pH 7.4, which response to a narrow pH change (5.5–7.5) and show a tunable pH‐triggered charge‐reversal property. Doxorubicin (DOX) is encapsulated into the PS‐PU micelles as a model drug. The drug release of DOX‐loaded PS‐PU micelles shows an obviously stepped‐up with reducing the pH. Meanwhile, it is found that the charge‐reversal property can improve the cellular uptake behavior and intracellular drug release in both HeLa cells and MCF‐7 cells. Additionally, the time‐dependent cytotoxicity of the DOX‐loaded PS‐PU micelles is confirmed by MTT assay. Attributed to the tunable charge‐reversal property through changing the molar ratio of piperazine/carboxyl, the PS‐PU micelles will be a potential candidate as an intelligent drug delivery system in future studies.
The chemical state of a transition‐metal dopant in TiO2 can intrinsically determine the performance of the doped material in applications such as photocatalysis and photovoltaics. In this study, manganese‐doped TiO2 is fabricated by a near‐equilibrium process, in which the TiO2 precursor powder precipitates from a hydrothermally obtained transparent mother solution. The doping level and subsequent thermal treatment influence the morphology and crystallization of the TiO2 samples. FTIR spectroscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses indicate that the manganese dopant is substitutionally incorporated by replacing Ti4+ cations. The absorption band edge can be gradually shifted to 1.8 eV by increasing the nominal manganese content to 10 at %. Manganese atoms doped into the titanium lattice are associated with the dominant 4+ valence oxidation state, which introduces two curved, intermediate bands within the band gap and results in a significant enhancement in photoabsorption and the quantity of photogenerated hydroxyl radicals. Additionally, the high photocatalytic performance of manganese‐doped TiO2 is also attributed to the low oxygen content, owing to the equilibrium fabrication conditions. This work provides an important strategy to control the chemical and defect states of dopants by using an equilibrium fabrication process. 相似文献
Fluorinated stationary phases provide unique separation effect on basic compounds, due to the fluorine atoms, and pentafluorophenyl stationary phases (PFPs) are the most widely used. Considering that some fluoroalkyls have higher fluorine contents than PFPs do, it is speculated that fluoroalkyl stationary phases should have potential new applications. Herein, we synthesized a silica-based stationary phase bonding perfluoroctyl (FC8) proved by characterization through elemental analysis and solid-state 13C cross-polarization/magic-anglespinning nuclear magnetic resonance. The chromatographic behavior of the stationary phase was evaluated with test compounds. In addition, to further study the applicability of FC8 materials, Corydalis decumbens (Thunb.) Pers. fraction, considered as a challenging medicine on reversed-phase chromatography columns, was chosen as a test sample. Results demonstrated that the FC8 stationary phase had better and more satisfactory separation performance than the PFP stationary phase on basic compounds.
A novel three‐component strategy for the azidotrifluoromethylation of alkenes has been presented here. The reaction proceeded smoothly under gentle temperature and gave the bifunctional olefins in high yields. Furthermore, 1,3‐dipolar reactions between azide‐containing products and phenylacetylene revealed great potential in molecular modification by using this method. 相似文献
