In this paper, the parametric scattering of a single extraordinary polarized beam of laser in BaTiO3 photorefractive crystal has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. The resulting pattern consists of beam fanning, isotropic ring, and anisotropic one. Among all parts of scattering pattern, isotropic ring has not been studied as much as beam fanning and anisotropic ring, and there still are some differences in reports about it. Therefore, the study has mainly focused on this part. In this experimental configuration, isotropic ring is just visible in positive angles although the other parts of parametric scattering pattern can be visible from behind and in front of the crystal. In addition to steady state pattern in forward and backward directions, its transient behavior with the rotation of crystal has been studied. The results of experiments have been analyzed carefully, and their theoretical explanations have been presented based on the standard theory of parametric scattering in photorefractive crystals. It has been shown that this configuration corresponds to the so called parametric B-process scattering.  相似文献

The first total synthesis of (+)-clavilactone B, a potent antifungal agent and novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor, is described. The absolute configuration of clavilactones has been unambiguously established by using Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation to generate the enantiomerically pure substrate. The strategy highlights the use of a powerful and convergent three-component benzyne coupling with a methylallyl Grignard and a chiral epoxy-aldehyde to generate two C-C bonds and install the carbon skeleton of clavilactone. Oxidative lactonization, ten-membered ring construction by ring closing metathesis, and oxidation gave clavilactone B.  相似文献

The self-chemical ionization of diethylzinc is examined by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometry and semiempirical molecular orbital calculations. Electron impact of diethylzinc neutral produces the radical cation, C(4)H(15)Zn(+) (m/z x 122), which reacts further with the neutral (C(2)H(5))(2)Zn to give the following product ions: Zn(+) (m/z x 64), C(2)H(5)Zn(+) (m/z x 93), C(4)H(9)Zn(+) (m/z x 121), C(4)H(11)Zn(2)(+) (m/z x 187), and C(6)H(15)Zn(2)(+) (m/z x 215). To determine the structure and pathways for production of these ions, monoisotopic (12)C(4)H(15)(64)Zn(+), (64)Zn(+) and (12)C(2)H(5)(64)Zn(+) were individually isolated and reacted with the neutral background. We also performed semiempirical molecular orbital calculations (ZINDO/1). The molecular orbital calculations and experimental data are consistent in predicting that the ethyl group on the diethylzinc cation carries the positive charge. BACKGROUND: The committed step in the biosynthesis of the anticancer drug taxol in yew (Taxus) species is the cyclization of geranylgeranyl diphosphate to taxa-4(5),11(12)-diene. The enzyme taxadiene synthase catalyzes this complex olefin cation cyclization cascade involving the formation of three rings and three stereogenic centers. RESULTS: Recombinant taxadiene synthase was incubated with specifically deuterated substrates, and the mechanism of cyclization was probed using MS and NMR analyses of the products to define the crucial hydrogen migration and terminating deprotonation steps. The electrophilic cyclization involves the ionization of the diphosphate with closure of the A-ring, followed by a unique intramolecular transfer of the C11 proton to the re-face of C7 to promote closure of the B/C-ring juncture, and cascade termination by proton elimination from the beta-face of C5. CONCLUSIONS: These findings provide insight into the molecular architecture of the first dedicated step of taxol biosynthesis that creates the taxane carbon skeleton, and they have broad implications for the general mechanistic capability of the large family of terpenoid cyclization enzymes.  相似文献

In this study, the raw materials and their structural properties were analyzed in synthetic polymer pipe production by the following events: 1) The effect of extruder processes to dynamic-mechanical properties of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) pipes in pipe production; 2) The effect of the fiber direction on dynamic-mechanical properties and extruder materials; 3) The heat process on welding during the pipe production and the effect of polymer structure on welding duration; 4) Physical properties and structural changes of pigmented PE and PP raw materials. 5) The relationship between dynamic-mechanical properties of polymers with thermodynamic and kinetic concepts and effect of temperature. The results (that were) derived after several measurements are as follows: 1) The best stability properties were observed on the pipe samples which have same fibre direction. In samples with opposite and vertical fiber directions the stability properties are 30% lower. 2) The maximum dynamic-mechanical properties of the pipe samples were observed when the extruder temp. Is 463 k. These properties were lower in the pipe compared to the samples taken from the inner and outer part of the extruder. For the sample during this time the concentration of the oxygen groups are at the lowest and amorphous regions are at the highest level. These results prove that the temperature, the pressure and the cooling rate of the material taken from the extruder have too much effect on polymer structure. 3) Welding duration is investigated without changing the fibrillar structure. The best welding conditions have been obtained in case of deformation graphs with minimum areas. The results can be explained with the difference in polymer structures at different temperatures during pipe manufacturing process. 4) The σ, τ, γ values differ greatly in the samples taken from different companies (∼ 50%). The analyses of IR spectra and microphotographs show that this difference depends on the differences of the polymer structures and the initial data.  相似文献

In this study, the optical properties as well as mechanical and electrical degradation of low-density polyethylene (LDPE)/polypropylene fiber (PP fiber) (10–50% PP fiber), polypropylene (PP)/PP fiber (10–50% PP fiber), and LDPE/diamond (0.1–3% diamond) blends, which are prepared by hot pressing method, with changing thicknesses ranging from 30 to 225 μm, are compared. The spectra, in the wavelength range 200–2500 nm, are examined. Based on optical absorption spectra obtained, Tauc graphs are plotted. Determined values of the direct optical energy gap (E d opt ), the indirect optical energy gap (E i opt ), the width of the band (ΔE), and ultraviolet transmittance (TUV) are listed. The direct E d opt and indirect E i opt values for organic blends are in the range of 3.10–3.17 eV and 1.52–2.99 eV; for inorganic blends they are 1.80–4.13 eV and 1.55–4.7 eV respectively. The electrical strength (ε) and the mechanical tension (σ) have been investigated, and graphs (the dependence of the electrical life time log τε on ε) are given. The experimental results are analyzed from the viewpoint of the validity of the thermofluctuation theory. LDPE and LDPE/0.5% diamond composite parameters consecutively changed: σ from 68 to 82 MPa, ε from 60·106 to 85·106 V/m, mechanical lifetime τσ from 10 to 1.5·105 sec, electrical lifetime τε from 2· 103 to 2·105 sec, and structure-sensitive parameters γ and χ — from 1.48 to 1.18 (J)MPa/mole and from 0.97 to 0.70 (J)Vm−1/mole respectively. The values of mechanical and electrical durability were observed to increase by 20 and 41%, respectively, for LDPE/0.5% diamond composite. To determine the segment along the carcinogenic continuum at which dietary lipid exerts its principal effect, six groups of 35 Skh-HR-1 hairless mice were placed on defined isocaloric diets containing either 0.75%, 12% corn oil or 12% menhaden oil as sources of omega-6 or omega-3 fatty acids, respectively. All animals received an 11 week course of UV-radiation from fluorescent sunlamps. Upon termination of UV, diets of some groups were crossed-over to either low fat, high fat, omega-6 or omega-3 fatty acid sources. The first tumor appeared at week 14. Life-table analysis of the tumor incidence curves and Wilcoxon tests of tumor multiplicity provided evidence that high corn oil diets significantly (P < 0.01) enhance carcinogenic expression; that tumor enhancement by the omega-6 fatty acid source occurs during the post-initiation, or promotion, stage; that replacement with a low corn oil diet after UV-initiation will negate the exacerbating effect of high corn oil; and that an omega-3 fatty acid source inhibits UV-carcinogenesis even at high dietary levels, although not during the post-initiation stage.  相似文献

The interaction between a solitary electromagnetic wave and a narrow layer with an increased electron concentration in a semiconductor superlattice in a preset uniform alternating electric field directed along the superlattice axis is investigated. The model of the electron energy spectrum in the superlattice is chosen in the strong coupling approximation taking into account the second harmonic. It is shown that, for certain relations between the amplitude and frequency of the alternating electric field, a solitary electromagnetic wave approaching the layer with an increased electron concentration can be trapped by this layer.  相似文献
