The parameters of fuel oil pyrolysis initiated by propane-butane-oxygen flame were studied as influenced by the temperature in the pyrolysis zone, time of the fuel oil contact with the initiating flame, and fuel oil feed rate. Stabilized hexane-air cool flames in a separately heated two-section reactor have been studied at T=480–770 K and P=30–63 kPa. ESR spectra of peroxy radicals were analyzed by the radical freezing technique and sonde sampling. Under these conditions high radical concentrations (>1014 cm–3) are observed. With increasing pressure and temperature, the fraction of HO2 radicals in the overall amount of radicals grows.

Damping and stable oscillation of free radical concentrations in butane oxidation have been found and studied experimentally by using a differential thermocouple. It has been established that maximum oscillations of radical concentrations slightly precede temperature maxima.

The possibility of constructing layered systems for high-temperature synthesis of materials is demonstrated. The cases of vertical and horizontal arrangement of layers, which ensure different types of a technological combustion of the initial reactant mixtures with or without subsequent interaction of the reaction products formed, are considered. The conditions are found for the synthesis of alkaline-earth metal titanates and aluminum borides in the layered systems. 相似文献
