Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) monoliths for (+)-nilvadipine have been prepared using 4-vinylpyridine as a functional monomer and toluene/1-dodecanol as a porogen without or with addition of N-carbobenzyloxy-L-tryptophan (Cbz-L-Trp) as a co-template molecule. The MIP monoliths prepared with (+)-nilvadipine as a sole template molecule had no macro through-pores, while those could be formed by addition of Cbz-L-Trp as the co-template molecule. Furthermore, on the former nilvadipine enantiomers could not be separated, but on the latter they could. The presence of Cbz-L-Trp affected the polymerization process and resulted in forming macro through-pores of the MIP monoliths for (+)-nilvadipine and attaining separation of nilvadipine enantiomers. These results suggest that co-addition of Cbz-L-Trp could be effective for preparing MIP monoliths for (+)-nilvadipine, whose preparation is difficult.  相似文献

Some anaerobic bacteria can efficiently eliminate one or more halide atoms from halogenated compounds such as chlorophenols and chloroethenes through reductive dehalogenation. During this process, the bacteria utilize halogenated compounds as the terminal electron acceptors in their anaerobic respiration, called dehalorespiration, to yield energy for growth. Currently the genera of Desulfitobacterium and Dehalococcoides occupy the major part of the dehalorespiring isolates. The former can acquire energy not only by dehalorespiration but also by other respirations utilizing organic compounds and metals. In sharp contrast, the latter is specialized in dehalorespiration and plays a crucial role in the detoxification of chlorinated compounds in nature. From these bacteria, various reductive dehalogenases, which catalyze the dehalogenation reaction, were purified and their corresponding genes were identified. Most reductive dehalogenases exhibit similar features such as the presences of a Tat (twin arginine translocation) signal sequence, two Fe-S clusters, and a corrinoid cofactor. Some of dehalogenase-encoding genes are found to be flanked by insertion sequences. Thus, dehalogenase genes act as a catabolic transposon, and genetic rearrangements mediated by transposable elements occur well in dehalorespirers. Moreover, the genome sequences of some dehalorespiring bacteria provide many insights into the mechanism of dehalorespiration and the evolution of a dehalogenase gene.  相似文献

Background  

Microglia/macrophages and lymphocytes (T-cells) accumulate around motor and primary sensory neurons that are regenerating axons but there is little or no microglial activation or T-cell accumulation around axotomised intrinsic CNS neurons, which do not normally regenerate axons. We aimed to establish whether there was an inflammatory response around the perikarya of CNS neurons that were induced to regenerate axons through a peripheral nerve graft.  相似文献

A rapid and sensitive HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of paraquat and diquat in human serum has been developed. After deproteinization of the serum with 10% trichloroacetic acid, the samples were separated on a reversed-phase column, and subsequently reduced to their radicals with alkaline sodium hydrosulfite solution. These radicals were monitored with a UV detector at 391 nm. This method permitted the reliable quantification of paraquat over linear ranges of 50 ng - 10 microg/ml and 100 ng - 10 microg/ml for diquat in human serum. The within- and between-day variations are lower than 2.3 and 2.2%, respectively. This technique was also utilized to determine the paraquat and diquat serum levels in a patient who had ingested herbicide (Prigrox L) containing paraquat and diquat.  相似文献

Naphthalenemonoimides and N-desymmetrized naphthalenediimides were synthesized using a stepwise microwave-assisted protocol. The steric and electronic properties of aliphatic amines determined the outcome of the reactions, while in the amino acid series their ability to solubilize the naphthalene dianhydride starting material was crucial.
