A gas-filled type of recoil separator for heavy element research was installed at an experimental hall of RIKEN Linear Accelerator facility to realize getting higher intensity of primary beam and long beam time. Performance of the separator was studied using target recoils and various nuclear reactions. The results show the high performance of the separator for heave element research. As an application of the GARIS, production and identification of an isotope of the 110th element 271[110] have been performed using the 208Pb(64Ni,1n)271[110] reaction. Three decay chains coincide well both in decay times and energies with the ones reported by the group of SHIP experiment at GSI, Germany. Our results provide a confirmation of the synthesis of an isotope 271[110] of element 110.  相似文献

We report on the simultaneous generation of phase-conjugate signals by degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) and holographic processes using a nanosecond pulse and a CW lasers in polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films doped with four kinds of saturable absorbing dyes. For the pulse laser, of the four kinds of dye-doped PVA films, the erythrosine B-doped PVA and uranine doped-PVA films generate PC signals only by the DFWM process, while the other dye-doped PVA films generate PC signals simultaneously by not only the DFWM process but also the holographic process. Especially, the safranin T-doped PVA film generates strong PC signals by the holographic process. In contrast, all of the dye-doped PVA films generate the two types of PC signals for the CW laser. The fading of dye molecules is found to result in the generation of the holographic component of PC signals which governs the temporal behavior of the total PC signals.  相似文献

We constructed a scanning near-field optical microscope (SNOM) on a commercially available atomic force microscopy (AFM) apparatus (SPM-9500J2; Shimadzu Corp.) to measure the stress distribution in ceramic composite materials. Features of our SNOM system are: (1) a compact SNOM head substituted for the original AFM head; (2) a wide scanning range (125 × 125 μm2) inherited from the original scanner; (3) use of conventional shear-force regulation; (4) an optical system for the illumination-collection (I-C) mode; (5) excitation by a 488 nm line of an Ar-ion laser, and (6) light detection by photon counting or a polychromator equipped with an electronically cooled charge coupled device (CCD). This SNOM system was used to measure the surface structure and stress distribution of an Al2O3/ZrO2 eutectic composite. We simultaneously measured topographic images and fluorescence spectra of an Al2O3/ZrO2 eutectic composite. We estimated its peak intensity, peak position, and peak width from the fluorescence spectrum during scanning, which respectively correspond to the abundance of Al2O3, stress in the grain, and the anisotropy of that stress. Mapping images showed that the stress and its anisotropy were weaker in the center of the Al2O3 grain than its boundary between Al2O3 and ZrO2. That observation suggests that Al2O3 underwent intense anisotropic stress induced by volume expansion in the phase transition of ZrO2 from the cubic phase to the monoclinic phase during preparation.  相似文献

This paper considers two models of BASIC mode data transmission: When we transmit data with length l
1. (1) data are divided into N blocks and each block is transmitted individually
2. (2) data are divided into N sub-blocks and all sub-blocks are transmitted together.
We derive total average transmission data lengths of each model and discuss optimal numbers N* and block length B* which minimize them. In model 1, the length of one block is approximately determined independently of l. It is shown in a numerical example that when l is large, model 2 is better than model 1.  相似文献

A side-chain liquid crystalline polysiloxane derivative possessing mesogens was synthesized. The mesogens included a large dielectrically-anisotropic moiety. Phase transition behaviour was investigated and the electrorheological (ER) effect of the polymer considered. No ER effect was observed in non-sheared polysiloxane derivative because of its high inherent viscosity. However, a large ER effect was observed after pre-shearing. Pre-shearing, i.e. shearing with a high shear rate before the measurements, arranges the terminal mesogens in the shearing direction. Furthermore, a dilution of the sample led to a larger ER effect exceeding 10 000 Pa. We thus were able to demonstrate a new approach for the appearance of the ER effect.  相似文献

The effect of angular momentum on the competition between fission and particle emission during light system fission process was studied via fission diffusion model. The prescission particle multiplicities were found to increase with decreasing angular momentum. The experimental prescission proton and α particle multiplicities can be fitted for 10.6 MeV/nucleon 84Kr(27Al,binary fission) reaction with this model. Entrance channel effect found in [1] is proved to be angular momentum effect.  相似文献

Time-of-Flight (TOF) neutron diffraction measurements have been carried out on aqueous 8 mol% sodium acetate solutions in D2O. Scattering cross sections that were observed for sample solutions involving 12C/13C and H/D isotopically substituted acetate ions were used to derive the first-order difference functions, ΔH(Q) and ΔC(Q), and corresponding distribution functions, G H(r;r) and G C(r;r), which describe the environmental structure around the methyl and the carboxyl groups within the acetate ion, respectively. Structural parameters concerning the first hydration shell of the carboxyl group within the acetate ion were obtained through the least squares fit to the observed intermolecular difference function, ΔC inter(Q). The nearest neighbor C O...D W1 (CO: carboxyl carbon atom, DW1: water deuterium atom) distance, r(C O...D W1 ), and the angle, ∠ C O ...D W1 -O W (O W : water oxygen atom), were determined to be 2.63(1) Å and 120(1)°, respectively. The coordination number, n(C O ...D W1 ), was obtained to be 4.0(1). These results are consistent with the hydration structure in which water molecules in the first hydration shell of the carboxyl group are hydrogen-bonded with oxygen atoms of the carboxyl group.  相似文献

From the analysis of the permeation of 35S labeled ethanesulfonic acid, through nylon-6 films sorption isotherms were obtained. The films are characterized by their largely different content of carboxyl and amino end groups. It was found that the shape of the isotherm depends on the molar ratio of the two end groups: an S-shape curve for the film containing the carboxyl end group larger than the amino end group and a Langmuir-type curve for the film containing comparable numbers of end groups. These results were explained by the McGregor-Harris theory in which the acid dissociation constants of the two end groups in nylon were estimated experimentally.  相似文献
