Characterization and testing of an L‐shaped laterally graded multilayer mirror are presented. This mirror is designed as a two‐dimensional collimating optics for the analyzer system of the ultra‐high‐resolution inelastic X‐ray scattering (IXS) spectrometer at National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS‐II). The characterization includes point‐to‐point reflectivity measurements, lattice parameter determination and mirror metrology (figure, slope error and roughness). The synchrotron X‐ray test of the mirror was carried out reversely as a focusing device. The results show that the L‐shaped laterally graded multilayer mirror is suitable to be used, with high efficiency, for the analyzer system of the IXS spectrometer at NSLS‐II.  相似文献

Surface slope profile is widely used in the metrology of grazing‐incidence reflective optics instead of surface height profile. Nevertheless, the theoretical and experimental model currently used in deterministic optical figuring processes is based on surface height, not on surface slope. This means that the raw slope profile data from metrology need to be converted to height profile to perform the current height‐based figuring processes. The inevitable measurement noise in the raw slope data will introduce significant cumulative error in the resultant height profiles. As a consequence, this conversion will degrade the determinism of the figuring processes, and will have an impact on the ultimate surface figuring results. To overcome this problem, an innovative figuring model is proposed, which directly uses the raw slope profile data instead of the usual height data as input for the deterministic process. In this paper, first the influence of the measurement noise on the resultant height profile is analyzed, and then a new model is presented; finally a demonstration experiment is carried out using a one‐dimensional ion beam figuring process to demonstrate the validity of our approach.  相似文献

Abstract— Using the technique of flash photolysis-electron spin resonance, we have shown, by means of a kinetic analysis, that phenazine methosulfate (PMS) interacts with reaction-center preparations from the blue-green mutant R26 of Rhodopseudomonas spheroides. At intermediate concentrations of PMS, biphasic decay kinetics of the P870+ ESR signal are observed demonstrating that the PMS radical interacts with reaction centers by a specific binding mechanism. With PMS bound to reaction centers, the P870+ ESR signal decays in ˜ 1 ms; whereas, in unbound reaction centers the decay is ˜ 120 ms. A model is proposed involving the interaction of PMS on the donor side of P870.  相似文献

Abstract— Using the technique of flash photolysis-electron spin resonance, we have detected, by means of a kinetic analysis, a rapidly decaying signal in reaction center preparations from the R26 blue-green mutant of Rhodopseudomonas spheroides. This signal, which we designate Signal B3, is essentially the same as that seen previously in iron-free preparations. Signal B3 decays at 20°C with a 1/ e time of ˜ 3 ms and exhibits an activation energy of 5 ± 1 kcal mol-1 over the temperature range 0–30°C. Extraction with isooctane completely eliminates Signal B3, whereas readdition of exogenous ubiquinone-30 completely restores the signal. o -Phenanthroline has no effect on Signal B3. We discuss these results in terms of a model in which the primary acceptor is an iron-ubiquinone complex with excess ubiquinone serving as a secondary electron acceptor pool.  相似文献

5,7-Dinitroquinazoline-4-ones undergo nucleophilic displacement of a nitro group with N-, S-, and O-nucleophiles. In contrast to previously studied dinitro-substituted benzoannulated five- and seven-membered heterocycles (where a high degree of selectivity was observed), these quinazolines mostly yield mixtures of regioisomeric substitution products. At the same time, primary and secondary amines react selectively to afford 5-aminoquinazolones (peri-substitution). A similar effect is observed for some other polynitroaromatic compounds with adjacent nitro and carbonyl groups. This phenomenon is attributed to a stabilization of the intermediate peri-sigma-complex by intramolecular hydrogen bond N(+)-H...O double bond C.  相似文献

[Reaction: see text]. 1,3-dinitrodibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepin-11(10H)-one, prepared by intramolecular displacement of nitro group in N-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-2,4,6-trinitrobenzamide, reacts with O- and S-nucleophiles to yield the products of mono- or bis-substitution of the nitro groups. The nitro group in position 3 is displaced first. This observation is in contrast with earlier results for the nitro-substituted benzoannulated five-membered heterocycles. This difference in reactivity is likely due to the increased steric hindrance for peri-nitro group displacement in the case of the benzoannulated seven-membered heterocycle. N-Alkylation of the nitro-substituted dibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepin-11(10H)-ones yields analogues of a known antidepressant drug Sintamil. The structure of the products is confirmed by NOE experiments and alternative synthesis.  相似文献

2,4,6-Trinitrotoluene readily reacts with 1-nitroso-2-naphthol to afford 9,11-dinitrobenzo[f]naphtho[2,1-b][1,4]oxazepine. The nitro groups of the latter undergo displacement by O- and S-nucleophiles with preferential substitution of the 11-NO2 (peri-nitro group). The structures of the substitution products are confirmed by X-ray diffraction and 1H NMR NOE experiments.  相似文献

Levoglucosenone, a chiral α,β-unsaturated ketone derived from cellulose, undergoes a stereoselective domino oxa-Michael-aldol reaction with 2-hydroxybenzaldehydes affording optically active pyrano[3,4-b]chromenes.
