The kinetic features of radical polymerization of styrene in the presence of primary and secondary aliphatic amines combined with benzoyl peroxide and the molecular-mass characteristics of the resulting polymers were studied. In the presence of peroxide initiators, aliphatic amines, as potential sources of stable aminoxyl radicals, provide the synthesis of polystyrene with a controlled molecular mass without gel effect at a relatively high rate. The free-radical polymerization of N-vinylpyrrolidone and its copolymerization with methyl methacrylate have been studied at 60°C in the presence of C-phenyl-N-tert-butylnitrone as a chain-growth regulator. It has been shown that the above additive makes it possible to synthesize poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) and its copolymers without any gel effect and to control molecular-mass characteristics of homo-and (co)polymers.  相似文献

The specific features of synthesis of polystyrene, as well as random and block styrene-acrylonitrile and styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymers, in the presence of some alicyclic amines were studied. It was found that chain length regulators are not only amines themselves, but also nitroxyl radicals formed in situ as a result of oxidation of amines by benzoyl peroxide, which acts simultaneously as the initiator of radical polymerization and an oxidant. It was shown that secondary amine-peroxide binary compositions are able to control most effectively the kinetic parameters of polymerization and the molecular-mass characteristics of formed macromolecules.  相似文献

The influence of bis[4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-o-iminobenzosemiquinonato]cobalt (II) on the radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate and styrene under the conditions of radical initiation by azo-bis-isobutyric acid dinitrile in the temperature range 70–90°C has been studied. The use of the cobalt complex containing redox-oxidized ligands leads to the suppression of autoacceleration of the polymerization of methyl methacrylate and to a linear increase in the molecular masses of the polymers with conversion. In the case of styrene polymerization, the control over the kinetics of the process and molecular weight characteristics of the polymers synthesized in the presence of the cobalt iminobenzosemiquinone complex is less pronounced.  相似文献

The specifics of the radical polymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate in the presence of ruthenium closo- and exo-nido-carborane complexes with phosphine and diphosphine ligands were investigated. It was shown that, depending on a coinitiator, the polymerization proceeds through the atom transfer radical mechanism or the reverse atom transfer radical mechanism to high conversions without gelation to yield macromolecules with a low polydispersity. The influence of the ligand environment, the oxidation state of ruthenium atoms in the carborane complexes, and the temperature conditions on the specific features of the polymer synthesis was established.  相似文献

The specific features of synthesis of poly(methyl methacrylate) and polystyrene in the presence of bis(3,6-ditert-butylcatecholato)tin(IV) ditetrahydrofuranate were studied. It was found that the catecholate tin complex can efficiently influence both the kinetic parameters of radical polymerization of the monomers and molecular mass characteristics of the product polymers. With the use on macroinitiators obtained in the presence of bis(3,6-ditert-butylcatecholato)tin(IV) ditetrahydrofuranate, block copolymers were synthesized.  相似文献
