An efficient chiral N-heterocyclic carbene ligand for the Ir-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of largely unfunctionalized tri-substituted olefins has been developed. The Ir-NHC-thiazole catalyst is able to reduce a large variety of substrates with excellent conversions and good enantioselectivities with ee’s ranging from 34% to 90%, depending on the geometry around the double bond of the substrates.  相似文献

The present study compares the operation of two cold atmospheric plasma jet (CAPJ) configurations: needle-to-cylinder electrode configuration (CAPJ I) and single high-voltage cylinder electrode around the quartz tube (CAPJ II). The CAPJs were operated in argon flowing through a quartz capillary with 0.5-mm inner diameter into the ambient air, and the plasma was generated by sinusoidal kHz frequency AC power supplies. The main emphasis of the study was on the mechanism of the initiation of ionization waves for these two configurations. For both CAPJs, there appeared several ionization waves during one half-period of the applied voltage waveform, and the number of ionization waves increased at higher voltage amplitudes. However, we discovered marked differences in the initiation of the ionization waves for two different CAPJ configuration. The applied voltage controlled the initiation of consecutive ionization waves, which propagated from the grounded electrode towards the tube orifice in CAPJ I. In the case of CAPJ II, certain time had to pass for the initiation of a new ionization wave, and subsequent ionization waves within the same half-period started at the tube orifice. In addition to the differences in the initiation of the ionization waves, we observed that the CAPJ I was ignited and sustained at lower voltages, while CAPJ II produced a longer plasma jet. The observed advantages and deficiencies of investigated CAPJ configurations point out their potential in different applications.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss how partial knowledge of the density of states for a model can be used to give good approximations of the energy distributions in a given temperature range. From these distributions one can then obtain the statistical moments corresponding to e.g. the internal energy and the specific heat. These questions have gained interest apropos of several recent methods for estimating the density of states of spin models. As a worked example we finally apply these methods to the 3-state Potts model for cubic lattices of linear order up to 128. We give estimates of e.g. latent heat and critical temperature, as well as the micro-canonical properties of interest.   相似文献

Directed flow measurements for Lambda hyperons are presented and compared to those for protons produced in the same Au+Au collisions (2A, 4A, and 6A GeV; b<5-6 fm). The measurements indicate that Lambda hyperons flow consistently in the same direction but with smaller magnitudes. A strong positive flow [for Lambdas] has been predicted in calculations which include the influence of the Lambda-nucleon potential. The experimental flow ratio Lambda/p is in qualitative agreement with expectations (approximately 2/3) from the quark counting rule at 2A GeV but is found to decrease with increasing beam energy.  相似文献

Using the large acceptance Time Projection Chamber of experiment E895 at Brookhaven, measurements of collective sideward flow in Au+Au collisions at beam energies of 2A, 4A, 6A, and 8A GeV are presented in the form of in-plane transverse momentum and the first Fourier coefficient of azimuthal anisotropy v(1). These measurements indicate a smooth variation of sideward flow as a function of beam energy. The data are compared with four nuclear transport models which have an orientation towards this energy range. All four exhibit some qualitative trends similar to those found in the data, although none show a consistent pattern of agreement within experimental uncertainties.  相似文献

We have simulated the scattering in a pulsed atomic beam evaporated from a superfluid 4He film. Assuming that the atoms leaving the surface of the film have an equilibrium Maxwellian distribution, we find that the experimentally observed deviations from Lambert's law are explained by scattering of the atoms after evaporation.  相似文献

For ordinary graphs it is known that any graph G with more edges than the Turán number of must contain several copies of , and a copy of , the complete graph on vertices with one missing edge. Erd?s asked if the same result is true for , the complete 3‐uniform hypergraph on s vertices. In this note, we show that for small values of n, the number of vertices in G, the answer is negative for .
