A combined method for investigating solubility and determining the composition of equilibrium solid phases saturating eutonic solutions in a NaCl-Na2SO4-Na2CO3-H2O system at 50°C

The composition of equilibrium solid phases NaCl, Na₂SO₄, Na₂CO₃ · 2Na₂SO₄ (berkeyite) and NaCl, Na₂CO₃ · H₂O, Na₂CO₃ · 2Na₂SO₄ (without preparative determination), saturating E₁ and E₂ eutonic solutions respectively, was established via nonvariant area boundary determination in a NaCl-N₂SO₄- Na₂CO₃-H₂O system at 50°C with the use of a combined method.     

Effect of Cationic Form of a Fibrous Sulfonic Cation-Exchange Resin on Sorption of Tetramminepalladium(II) and Its Cross-Sectional Distribution

The effect of the nature of exchangeable cation (Na⁺, Mg^{2 +}, Ba^{2 +}, La^{3 +}) in FIBAN K-1 fibrous sulfonic cation-exchange resin on sorption of tetramminepalladium(II) and its cross-sectional distribution in fabrication of Pd catalysts is studied.     

Technology of obtaining of potassium dihydrophosphate in the system with salting-out

The technology of producing of potassium dihydrophosphate (and potassium metaphosphate) mineral fertilizer in multicomponent system with salting-out is described; this technology is the result of investigation of multicomponent system K⁺, (C₂H₅)₂NH₂⁺ // Cl⁻, H₂PO₄⁻-H₂O, diagrams of the system condition and technological scheme are given; theoretical estimation of useful product yield agrees with experimental data.     

Solubility in the diagonal sections of the 2KCl + Ca(NO<Subscript>3</Subscript>)<Subscript>2</Subscript> ⇆ 2KNO<Subscript>3</Subscript> + CaCl<Subscript>2</Subscript>–H<Subscript>2</Subscript>O system

Solubility data in the diagonal sections of the quaternary reciprocal 2KCl + Ca(NO₃)₂ → 2KNO₃ + CaCl₂–H₂O system at 25 and 15°C are presented. It has been shown that the quaternary system has no stable diagonal at the studied temperatures, but contains a stable pair of salts, namely, potassium nitrate and calcium chloride. The obtained data can be used to optimize the thermal and concentrational parameters of the synthesis of potassium nitrate from calcium nitrate and potassium chloride.
