Synthesis and structure of fluoroalkyl containing lithium 1,3-diketonates

Studying the dielectric, electromechanical, and elastic properties of K1 − x (NH4) x H2PO4 mixed crystals

Temperature dependences of the longitudinal permittivity, piezoelectric coefficient d ₃₆, and elastic constant c ₆₆ ^E of K_{1 ? x} (NH₄) _x H₂PO₄ mixed crystals are studied experimentally. A microscopic model is proposed for crystals of the K_{1 ? x} (NH₄) _x H₂PO₄ type that includes the piezoelectric contribution to the effective pseudospin cluster Hamiltonian. Dielectric elastic and electromechanical properties of these crystals with ammonium concentrations x below 0.40 are calculated in a wide temperature range using the cluster approach. The calculation results are in qualitative agreement with experimental data.     

Trialkyl borate assisted amination of fluorinated 1,3-diketones for synthesis of N,N′-1,2-phenylen-bis(β-aminoenones) and their Ni(II), Cu(II) and Pd(II) complexes

An effecient synthetic method for fluorinated tridentate β-aminoenones and tetradentate bis(β-aminoenones) via amination of fluorinated 1,3-diketones with o-phenylenediamine in the presence of trialkyl borates was developed. Ni(II), Cu(II) and Pd(II) complexes with tetradentate bis(β-aminoenones) were obtained. Their gaschromatographic behaviour and main fragmentation paths in the electron ionization mass spectra were described.     

Speckle-correlation monitoring of the microhemodynamics of internal organs

The results of preliminary experimental studies of the possibility of monitoring blood microcirculation in surface layers of internal organs of laboratory animals in the course of laparotomy using full-field speckle correlometry are presented. The transmission of laser radiation to the probed part of the organ and the delivery of scattered speckle-modulated radiation to the detector (a CMOS camera) are performed using a fiberoptic endoscopic system. In the course of experiments, the microhemodynamics of the intestine, liver, spleen, kidneys, and pancreas in rat in a normal state and under induced ischemia and peritonitis, as well as under the action of drugs with clearly pronounced vasodilative effects (lidocaine, papaverine), is studied. The problems and prospects of speckle-correlation monitoring of the microhemodynamics of internal organs under laboratory and clinical conditions are discussed.     

Chelates of fluoroalkyl containing enaminoketones

The structure and areas of practical application of fluoroalkyl containing enaminoketone chelates with d-metals are reviewed. Synthesis of ligands and the routes to the regioisomeric enaminoketones are also considered.     

Structures of Ni(II), Pd(II) and Cu(II) complexes with 1,2-<Emphasis Type="Italic">bis</Emphasis>(5,5,5-trifluoro-4-oxopent-2-en-2-amino)benzene

A new fluorine-containing tetradentate ligand 1,2-bis(5,5,5-trifluoro-4-oxopent-2-en-2-amino)benzene and its complexes with Ni(II), Pd(II) and Cu(II) are characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It is found that the enaminoketone fragments of the ligand are identical in bond lengths and angles; they are almost planar, and make the angles of 51.3° to the plane of the benzene ring. The structures of Ni(II), Pd(II), and Cu(II) complexes are similar and have a saddle-shape configuration. The metal ions have square planar coordination and are located almost in the center of the N₂O₂ square. The average M-N bond lengths are longer than M-O ones by 0.014 Å and 0.034 Å for the Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes respectively, while in the Pd(II) complex, M-O is longer than M-N by 0.029 Å. The average chelate angles N-M-O in the complexes are: N-Ni-O 95.12°; N-Pd-O 95.68°; N-Cu-O 93.88°.     

The WKB method for the quantum mechanical two-Coulomb-center problem

Using a modified perturbation theory, we obtain asymptotic expressions for the two-center quasiradial and quasiangular wave functions for large internuclear distances R. We show that in each order of 1/R, corrections to the wave functions are expressed in terms of a finite number of Coulomb functions with a modified charge. We derive simple analytic expressions for the first, second, and third corrections. We develop a consistent scheme for obtaining WKB expansions for solutions of the quasiangular equation in the quantum mechanical two-Coulomb-center problem. In the framework of this scheme, we construct semiclassical two-center wave functions for large distances between fixed positively charged particles (nuclei) for the entire space of motion of a negatively charged particle (electron). The method ensures simple uniform estimates for eigenfunctions at arbitrary large internuclear distances R, including R ≥ 1. In contrast to perturbation theory, the semiclassical approximation is not related to the smallness of the interaction and hence has a wider applicability domain, which permits investigating qualitative laws for the behavior and properties of quantum mechanical systems.
