The phsicochemical indices and the fatty-acid and triacylglycerol compositions of cottonseed and palm oils, of cottonseed
oil hydrogenate, and of compositions based on them have been determined with the aid of IR and UV spectroscopies, GLC analysis,
and chemical transformations. The compositions and amounts of the main classes of lipids in the initial oils and the hydrogenate
have been studied. It has been found that in the process of hydrogenation the amount of oxygenated components falls.

A highly purified electrophoreticaly homogeneous protein with a NGF activity of 10·105 BU/mg of protein have been isolated from the venom of the Central Asian cobra by gel-filtration and ion-exchange chromatography followed by preparative isolectric focusing in a thin layer of Sephadex. It has been shown that the NGF isolated is characterized by a molecular weight in the range of 20–30 kD and a pI value of about 7.0. 相似文献

Experimental data on inclusive deuteron production in 16Op collisions at high energies were obtained for the first time under conditions of 4π geometry. An irregularity in the momentum spectrum of deuterons in the rest frame of oxygen nuclei is found in the range 0.40 ≤ p ≤ 0.55 GeV/c, and the reasons for its appearance are discussed. The mean multiplicities of secondary fragments are correlated with the presence of deuterons in an event, these correlations being positive for fragments of charge in the range z f ≤ 4 and negative for fragments of charge in the range 5 ≤ z f ≤ 7. This is likely to be due to baryon-charge conservation. 相似文献

The167Lu source was isolated from products of spallation reaction induced by 660 MeV protons on tantalum target. The direct and the prompt coincidence spectra of gamma rays from the167Lu decay have been studied with different Ge(Li) detectors. Half-lives of several excited states in167Yb have been measured using the delayed coincidence technique. The internal conversion spectra were investigated with Si(Li) detector and with permanent magnet spectrograph as well. The energies and intensities of more than 400 gamma-transitions were determined. The multipolarities of 225 gamma-transitions were established. The proposed decay scheme of the167Lu is based on coincidence measurements, the analysis of energy sums and reaction data. The states in167Yb are interpreted in terms of the unified model. The role of the Coriolis coupling is discussed. 相似文献

A protein nerve growth factor has been isolated in the pure form from the muscles of the lake frogRana ridibunda. The individuality of the substance obtained has been shown, its molecular mass (106.0–110.0 kDa) and pI value (9.2–9.4) have been determined, and lysine and valine have been found as the N- and C-terminal amino acid residues of its polypeptide chain. In view of the detection of the presence of sugars (about 1%), the substance has been identified as a glycoprotein. Its absorption spectra in the UV region has been obtained and the amino acid composition of the isolated protein has been determined. Information on the amino acid composition of various proteins with nerve growth activity has been subjected to comparative analysis with the aid of computer programs, and on this base their phylogenetic tree has been constructed.Institute of Biochemistry, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences, Tashkent. A method of fractionation according to affinity and specificity of polyclonal antibodies to murine and ovine nerve growth factors (NGFs) has been developed.
