Chiral separation of anticholinergic drug enantiomers in nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis

Nonaqueous capillary electrophoretic (NACE) method for the separation of nine structurally similar chiral anticholinergic drugs was developed. The eight drug enantiomers were separated on baseline within 18 min using 20mM phosphoric acid and 10 mM NaOH, containing 10 mM heptakis(2,3-dimethyl-6-sulfato)-4beta-cyclodextrin (HDMS-beta-CD) in methanol. The results were compared with those obtained in the high performance liquid chromatography system.     

Evaluation of Se(IV) removal from aqueous solution by GMZ Na-bentonite: batch experiment and modeling studies

Bentonite has been studied extensively because of its strong sorption and complexation ability. In this work, the sorption of Se(IV) on purified GMZ bentonite was investigated under ambient temperature as functions of contact time, pH, Se(IV) concentration and co-existing ion Eu(III) using batch techniques. Sorption kinetics of Se(IV) was successfully described by the pseudo-second-order rate equation. The sorption amount of Se(IV) was strongly dependent on the solution pH, and a positive effect was observed on Se(IV) and Eu(III) co-sorption when these two elements existed in the same system under high surface coverage of sorbent. Double layer model was set up and used to quantitatively interpret the sorption experimental data collected in binary and ternary sorption systems. From the experimental results, one can conclude that GMZ bentonite may have good potentialities for immobilizing selenium in nuclear wastes.

芳基吡咯类小分子化合物NB-2衍生物(Noc或Npc)与衍生于C34中的靶标特异性多肽P26所形成的缀合物具有低纳摩尔水平的融合抑制活性.本文通过不同长度或不同柔性的连接臂将Noc或Npc与衍生于C34的靶标特异性多肽P27缀合,探讨了C34中a位残基I635和连接臂对缀合物活性的影响.人体免疫缺陷病毒1型(HIV-1)Env介导的细胞-细胞融合实验结果表明,多肽与小分子之间产生了强的协同作用.     

16O+natS全熔合激发函数

在入射能量为55—75MeV的范围内,借助于位置灵敏的△E-E望远镜系统测量了¹⁶O+^natS反应的全熔合激发函数并做了讨论分析,提取了模型参数.激发函数存在着粗结构,其峰位分别为EcM=38、43、48MeV.     

Antimicrobial and hemolytic activities of copolymers with cationic and hydrophobic groups: a comparison of block and random copolymers

Random and diblock copolymers of 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate and butyl methacrylate are prepared by ATRP. As mimics of cationic antimicrobial peptides, the random and diblock copolymers show similar antimicrobial activities. In contrast, the diblock copolymers have much lower hemolytic activities than the random copolymers. The cell selectivity (HC(50)/MIC, where HC(50) is the concentration to lyse 50% of human red blood cells and MIC is the minimum concentration to inhibit bacterial growth) of the diblock copolymers are 150 to 27,500 times higher than that of random copolymers with similar compositions.     

A facile surfactant critical micelle concentration determination

Liquid surface curvature variations in microplate wells due to different liquid surface tension cause significant signal change in spectroscopic measurement using a plate reader with a vertical detecting light beam. The signals have been quantitated and used to develop a method for facile surfactant critical micelle concentration determination.     

Palladium complexes with Pd-->B dative bonds: analysis of the bonding in the palladaboratrane compound [kappa4-B(mimBut)3]Pd(PMe3)

The dinuclear complex {[mu-kappa(1),kappa(3)-B(mim(Bu(t)))(3)]Pd}(2), which features a Pd-->B dative bond, may be obtained by the reaction of [Tm(Bu(t))]K with Pd(OAc)(2); treatment of {[mu-kappa(1),kappa(3)-B(mim(Bu(t)))(3)]Pd}(2) with PMe(3) affords the mononuclear boratrane derivative [kappa(4)-B(mim(Bu(t)))(3)]Pd(PMe(3)), for which a molecular orbital analysis indicates that the palladium center possesses a d(8) configuration.
