We developed two DNA-conjugated polymers, one based on polyallylamine and the other on polyacrylic acid, for use in DNA chips. A 30-mer single-stranded DNA probe and thioctic acid were covalently attached to polyallylamine as sidechains. The same single-stranded DNA and 3-(pyridyldithio)propionyl hydrazide were covalently attached to polyacrylic acid as sidechains. Both DNA-conjugated polymers could be specifically immobilized onto a gold sensor substrate by a self-assembly technique. The interactions between fully matched DNA and each DNA-conjugated polymer were investigated by surface plasmon resonance. A gold surface modified with either DNA-conjugated polymer recognized fully matched DNA much better than unmatched DNA. The hybridization selectivity and efficiency of DNA-conjugated polyallylamine was optimized by adjusting the pH so as to reduce the effects of cationic polymer sidechains. The hybridization selectivity and efficiency of DNA-conjugated polymers were higher than those of a conventional immobilized thiol-based DNA. The coating of DNA-conjugated polymers reduced nonspecific adsorption of DNA by the gold substrate. DNA-conjugated polyacrylic acid was more selective toward fully matched DNA than was DNA-conjugated polyallylamine. We have recently reported on dodecamer peptides (HPPMDFHKAMTR, CHPQPLKSRNPL) which recognize 52-58th and 197-203rd amino acid sequences of glucose oxidase (GOx) by screening via a phage random peptide library. In this study, a side-chain protected peptide monomer (PPM) was synthesized using two peptides (HPPMDFHKAMTR, SHPQPLKSRNPL) and acryloyl chloride. The peptide-conjugated polymer (PCP) was copolymerized with PPMs and N,N-diethylacrylamide (DEAA). The affinity of PCPs to GOx was estimated using surface plasmon resonance detection. In the recycling of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), it is required to discriminate every plasticizer for quality control. For this purpose, the near-infrared spectra were measured for 41 kinds of PVC samples with different plasticizers (DINP, DOP, DOA, TOTM and Polyester) and different plasticizer contents (0-49%). A neural-network analysis was applied to the near-infrared spectra pretreated by second-derivative processing. They were discriminated from one another. The neural-network analysis also allowed us to propose a calibration model which predicts the contents of plasticizers in PVC. The correlation coefficient (R) and the root-mean-square error of prediction (RMSEP) for the DINP calibration model were found to be 0.999 and 0.41 wt%, respectively. In comparison, a partial least-squares regression analysis was carried out. The R and RMSEP of the DINP calibration model were calculated to be 0.993 and 1.27 wt%, respectively. The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry has developed some new plastic certified reference materials (CRMs) for the analysis of mercury in polyester disks using XRF analysis. These CRMs (named as JSAC 0621-0625) were prepared by casting polyesters including a toluene solution of organometallic compounds as a standard. Concentrations of the five levels of mercury ranged from 0 to 250 mg/kg. Homogeneity tests of prepared disks had shown excellent results. Interlaboratory comparison study for the certification was performed by 15 laboratory participants. The z-scores in robust statistical method was applied for the evaluation of outliers. The certified values were assigned after discarding outliers. The uncertainties of certified values were determined as the confidence levels of 95%. 相似文献

A rapid and precise method of determining radiocesium corresponding to 5 mrem/y, the Japan AEC's guideline, was proposed.
The development and practical performance of cesium-selective resin and the determination method was described in this paper.
The resin was prepared by the formation of ammonium molybdophosphate in the structure of Amberlite XAD-7 resin. It took only
3 hours to carry out all the procedures the authors proposed. This value represents 1/10∼1/2 of the time of conventional method.
