In response to a change of the Belgian National Directives whereby hospital laboratories became responsible for all point-of-care testing (POCT) performed within hospital walls a standardized and automated POC glucose-testing system was implemented in our hospital. The system consists of 50 AccuCheck Inform instruments (Roche Diagnostics, Vilvoorde, Belgium), 50 docking stations, a DataCare Server, and connections to the medical laboratory information system (MOLIS, Sysmex, Barchon, Belgium) and to the hospital information system. Implementation involved many parties and extensive preparation and communication. Key issues were bar-coded patient and user identification, training, and responsibilities. One year after the hospital wide implementation of this system the quality of POC glucose testing has significantly increased, thereby improving patient safety. Amorphous (a-) Fe x Mg1?x alloys are interesting materials for the investigation of non-Debye-like low-energy vibrational excitations. We have prepared a-Fe x Mg1?x alloy thin films (0.3 ≤ × ≤0.7) by vapour quenching. The amorphous state was confirmed by conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy between 4.2–300 K, and the x- and temperature-dependence of the isomer shift and hyperfine magnetic field was measured. For x= 0.6 and 0.7, magnetic ordering occurs below ~150 K. The atomic vibrational density of states, g(E), was determined by nuclear resonant inelastic scattering, providing clear evidence for the non-Debye-like low-energy vibrational excitations. 相似文献

Mössbauer effect studies of Pt3−xFe1+x fcc ordered alloys in the range 4.2 K <T<300 K, in zero and in external magnetic field, for samples with x = 0.16 to 0.28, are reported. The low-temperature spectra show several satellite lines which are related to different excess-Fe nearest-neighbor configurations. Experiments in external fields give information on the different local spin structure at different concentrations. 相似文献

-Fe surfaces were implanted with a nominal dose of 5×1017 Al ions/cm2 at 50 keV and a current density of about 3.7 A/cm2. Samples of different shapes and thicknesses have been used in order to test the influence of heat flow from specimen to target holder during implantation. Integral and energy differential (depth-selective)57Fe conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy (CEMS and DCEMS) were employed. The spectra indicated a magnetic phase characterised by a broad hyperfine field distributionP(B
hf), a non-magnetic phase, and -Fe. The relative intensity of the non-magnetic phase was enhanced if the thermal contact during implantation became worse. An energy dependence of DCEM spectra in the L-electron range was observed. Model calculations using L-electron weight functions and experimental concentration profiles obtained by secondary neutral mass spectroscopy (SNMS) yielded fair agreement between calculated and experimental phase signals. The results demonstrate that the non-magnetic Fe-Al alloy phase with high Al concentration is located closer to the surface than the magnetic alloy phase, which extends to much larger depth than expected. 相似文献

Palladium-catalyzed intramolecular arylation of 2-benzyl-5-(2-bromophenyl)-4-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one yielded hitherto unknown 2-benzyldibenzo[f,h]phthalazin-1(2H)-one. The synthesis of this new tetracyclic pyridazinone from 2-benzyl-5-(2-aminophenyl)-4-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one via a Pschorr type reaction was also investigated. Similarly, the construction of 2-methyldibenzo[f,h]cinnolin-3(2H)-one from 2-methyl-5-(2-bromophenyl)-6-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one and 2-methyl-5-(2-aminophenyl)-6-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one is also reported. Pd-catalyzed cyclodehydrohalogenation involving oxidative addition of aromatic C-Br or activated azaheteroaromatic C-Cl bonds and C(sp2)-H activation have been investigated at high reaction temperatures (180-200 °C). In the so-called ‘step-shape’ angular spin distribution model for layered systems, the non-collinear directions of the atomic magnetic moments are confined to the film plane and form a homogeneous fan spanning inside an (in-plane) angular interval Δφ centered at an angle φ0. A general approach for deriving the two parameters φ0 and Δφ via 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy measurements is discussed. The analysis extends our previously reported treatment, which assumed that the angular aperture Δφ develops symmetrically versus a fixed direction φ0 (e.g., the in-plane easy axis of magnetization) oriented either along or perpendicular to the in-plane projection of the Mössbauer γ-ray direction. The proposed approach is also applicable for those cases when not only the spin aperture Δφ is changing but also the aperture center φ0 is rotating under the influence of different external parameters, such as applied field, temperature, stress, etc. The method is suitable for applications to nanoscale layered heterostructures with in-plane uniaxial or unidirectional magnetic anisotropy.
