The nonlinear optical properties of the poly1,4-diazophenylene-bridged-tris(8-hydroxy-quinoline) aluminum (PDPAlq3) solution were studied using single beam Z-scan technique with a continuous-wave Diode laser radiation at 657.2 nm with 10 Hz repetition rate. The results show that the solution of PDPAlq3 exhibits large nonlinear refractive index (n2 = −1.7642 × 10−12 m2/W) and nonlinear absorption coefficient (β = 1.12 × 10−6 m/W). The negative sign of the nonlinear refractive index n2 indicates that the material exhibits self-defocusing optical nonlinearity. The evaluation of the figure of merit (W = 1.8) shows that the solution of PDPAlq3 is sufficient for application in all-optical switching technology. These results show that the solution of PDPAlq3 have potential application in nonlinear optics.  相似文献

An analysis of natural convection from a vertical plate fin when the fin base temperature is below the dew point of the surrounding air is presented in this paper. The analytical solution derived is based upon a constant heat and mass transfer coefficient and is also valid for forced convection. The results of this simplified theory are compared with a numerical solution where the coupling of convection and conduction is taken into account. An experimental verification of the results is also shown.

Zusammenfassung Es wird eine Analyse der freien Konvektion an einer vertikalen plattenförmigen Rippe dargestellt, bei der die Temperatur im Anfangsbereich der Rippe unterhalb des Taupunktes der umgebenden Luft liegt. Die abgeleitete analytische Lösung beruht auf einem konstanten Wärme- und Stoffübergangskoeffizienten und gilt auch für die erzwungene Konvektion. Die Resultate dieser vereinfachten Theorie werden mit einer numerischen Lösung verglichen, in der die Verbindung von Konvektion und Wärmeleitung in Betracht gezogen wird. Angeführt wird auch eine experimentelle Bestätigung der Resultate.

Abstract

The building block synthon, 1-(4-(1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-6-methyl-2-thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidin-5-yl)ethan-1-one was efficiently synthesized by Biginelli reaction of 1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehdye, acetylacetone, and thiourea and submitted to react with ethyl chloroacetate and chloroacetyl chloride under different conditions to afford some N-heterocycles integrated with pyrazole scaffold. Hydrazinolysis of the pyrimidinethione was studied under different conditions. The insecticidal activity for these compounds, DFT calculations, and docking were run and discussed. Some of them exhibited 100% mortality against Nilaparvata lugens and Mythimna separata.  相似文献

Background: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a chronic neurological illness that causes considerable cognitive impairment. Hepatic and renal dysfunction may worsen AD by disrupting β-amyloid homeostasis at the periphery and by causing metabolic dysfunction. Wheatgrass (Triticum aestivum) has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This work aims to study the effect of aluminum on neuronal cells, its consequences on the liver and kidneys, and the possible role of fluoxetine and wheatgrass juice in attenuating these pathological conditions. Method: Rats were divided into five groups. Control, AD (AlCl3), Fluoxetine (Fluoxetine and AlCl3), Wheatgrass (Wheatgrass and AlCl3), and combination group (fluoxetine, wheatgrass, and AlCl3). All groups were assigned daily to different treatments for five weeks. Conclusions: AlCl3 elevated liver and kidney enzymes, over-production of oxidative stress, and inflammatory markers. Besides, accumulation of tau protein and Aβ, the elevation of ACHE and GSK-3β, down-regulation of BDNF, and β–catenin expression in the brain. Histopathological examinations of the liver, kidney, and brain confirmed this toxicity, while treating AD groups with fluoxetine, wheatgrass, or a combination alleviates toxic insults. Conclusion: Fluoxetine and wheatgrass combination demonstrated a more significant neuroprotective impact in treating AD than fluoxetine alone and has protective effects on liver and kidney tissues.  相似文献

Tetrahydropyrimidinone derivative was synthesized through one-pot three components condensation of 1,3-diphenylpyrazole-4-carbaldehyde with pentan-2,4-dione and urea under Biginelli reaction conditions. The corresponding chloro- and hydrazino derivatives were synthesized and utilized for the construction of some valuable N-heterocycles encompassing both pyrazole and pyrimidine cores, such as triazolopyrimidine, tetrazolopyrimidine, pyrazole, and pyrazolone derivatives through condensation with nitrogen nucleophiles and carbon electrophiles. The antiproliferative activity evaluation of the synthesized compounds against four human carcinoma cell lines namely, liver carcinoma (HepG2), breast adenocarcinoma (MCF7), prostate cancer (PC3), and colon cancer (HCT-116) cell lines revealed that some of them provided significant potency, as well as the density-functional theory (DFT) was studied. The permeability of various hydrophilic and hydrophobic synthesized compounds across both normal and cancer cells is confirmed via DFT simulation in which the much higher permeability through aquaporin channels revealed the selective cytotoxicity toward cancer cells.  相似文献
