Three heteroleptic copper(II) complexes of the type [Cu(L1–3)(cf)(ClO4)] ( 1 – 3 ), where cf = ciprofloxacin, have been synthesized using pyridazine‐based ligands 3‐chloro‐6‐(salicylidenehydrazinyl)pyridazine (HL1), 3‐chloro‐6‐(4‐diethylaminosalicylidenehydrazinyl)pyridazine (HL2) and 3‐chloro‐6‐(5‐bromosalicylidenehydrazinyl)pyridazine (HL3). Electronic spectral data and magnetic moment values suggest octahedral geometry for the synthesized copper(II) complexes. Electrochemical data of the copper(II) complexes present an irreversible one‐electron reduction wave in the cathodic potential region (Epc) between ?0.631 and ?0.670 V. Frontier molecular orbital calculations were carried out, and the obtained low‐energy gap supports the bio‐efficacy of the complexes. All the complexes were screened for their in vitro cytotoxicity activity against three human cancerous (breast adenocarcinoma (MCF‐7), hepatoma (HepG‐2) and cervical (HeLa)) and one non‐cancerous (non‐tumorigenic human dermal fibroblast (NHDF)) cell lines using MTT assay, in which complex 2 exhibited higher activity. The apoptosis induction by the complexes was analysed using the Hoechst dye staining method with MCF‐7 cell line, which indicates higher apoptotic activity of complex 2 . A molecular docking study was carried out to ascertain the binding affinity of the synthesized heteroleptic copper(II) complexes with phosphoinositide 3‐kinase gamma (PI3Kγ) receptor. 相似文献

A series of trinuclear Cu(II) complexes have been prepared by Schiff base condensation of 1,8-[bis(3-formyl-2-hydroxy-5-methyl)benzyl]-l,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane
and 1,8-[bis(3-formyl-2-hydroxy-5-bromo)benzyl]-l,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane with aromatic and aliphatic diamines, Cu(II)
perchlorate and triethylamine. The complexes were characterized by elemental and spectroscopic analysis. Electrochemical studies
of the complexes in DMF solution show three irreversible one-electron reduction processes around Epc
1 = −0.73 to −0.98 V, Epc
2 = −0.91 to −1.20 V and Epc
3 = −1.21 to −1.33 V. ESR spectra and magnetic moments of the trinuclear Cu(II) complexes show the presence of antiferromagnetic
coupling. The rate constants for hydrolysis of 4-nitrophenylphosphate by the Cu(II) complexes are in the range of 3.33 × 10−2 to 7.58 × 10−2 min−1. The rate constants for the catecholase activity of the complexes fall in the range of 2.67 × 10−2 to 7.56 × 10−2 min−1. All the complexes were screened for antifungal and antibacterial activity. 相似文献

In this work, the agitation and aeration effects in the maximization of the β-galactosidase production from Kluyveromyces marxianus CCT 7082 were investigated simultaneously, in relation to the volumetric enzyme activity and the productivity, as well as
the analysis of the lactose consumption and production of glucose, and galactose of this process. Agitation and aeration effects
were studied in a 2 L batch stirred reactor. A central composite design (22 trials plus three central points) was carried out. Agitation speed varied from 200 to 500 rpm and aeration rate from 0.5
to 1.5 vvm. It has been shown in this study that the volumetric enzyme production was strongly influenced by mixing conditions,
while aeration was shown to be less significant. Linear models for activity and productivity due to agitation and aeration
were obtained. The favorable condition was 500 rpm and 1.5 vvm, which lead to the best production of 17 U mL−1 for enzymatic activity, 1.2 U mL−1 h−1 for productivity in 14 h of process, a cellular concentration of 11 mg mL−1, and a 167.2 h−1 volumetric oxygen transfer coefficient. 相似文献

A new class of symmetric, end-off, N-methyl piperazine armed binucleating ligands 2,6-bis(4-methyl piperazin-1-yl-methyl)-4-acetyl phenol (HL1) and 2,6-bis[(4-methyl piperazin-1-yl-methyl)]-(4-methylcarboxy) phenol (HL2) were synthesized by the Mannich reaction. Their mononuclear and binuclear Cu(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes have been synthesized. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, infra-red and electronic spectral analysis. In the electronic spectra, the lower electron withdrawing nature of the C(O)CH3p-substituent (HL1) compared with the C(O)OCH3p-substituent (HL2) of the phenolic ring causes a red shift in the LMCT-charge transfer band. The mononuclear Cu(II) complexes 1 and 7 have a magnetic moment value close to the spin only value with four hyperfine EPR signals. The binuclear Cu(II) complexes 4 and 10 illustrate an antiferromagnetic interaction (μeff 1.56 and 1.55 BM) at 298 K with a broad EPR signal. A variable temperature magnetic moment study of the binuclear copper(II) complexes shows that the extent of antiferromagnetic coupling increases in the order: CHO [K. Shanmuga Bharathi, A. Kalilur Rahiman, K. Rajesh, S. Sreedaran, P.G. Aravindan, D. Velmurugan, V. Narayanan, Polyhedron 25 (2006) 2859] < C(O)CH3 < C(O)OCH3 (−2J values 134 [Shanmuga Bharathi et al., mentioned above], 149 and 158 cm−1, respectively). The mononuclear Ni(II) complexes 2 and 8 are square planar and diamagnetic. The six coordinated binuclear Ni(II) complexes 5 and 11 show a magnetic moment value of 2.96 and 2.95 BM, respectively. Electrochemical studies of the complexes reveal that all the mononuclear complexes show a single irreversible one-electron transfer reduction wave and the binuclear complexes show two irreversible one-electron transfer reduction waves in the cathodic region. There is an anodic shift in the reduction of the metal centres when the electron withdrawing nature of the p-substituent of the phenolic ring increases. The catecholase activity of the mono and binuclear copper(II) complexes, using pyrocatechol as a model substrate, and the hydrolysis of 4-nitrophenyl phosphate using the mono and binuclear copper(II), nickel(II) and zinc(II) complexes as catalysts showed that the binuclear complexes have higher rate constant values than those of the corresponding mononuclear complexes. A comparison of the spectral, electrochemical and magnetic behaviour of the complexes derived from the ligands is discussed on the basis of the substituent at the para position of the phenolic ring. 相似文献

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the comparative effects of red (660‐nm) and near‐infrared (780‐nm) low‐level laser therapy (LLLT) on viability, mitochondrial activity, morphology and gene expression of growth factors on Schwann cells (SC). ST88‐14 cells were grown in RPMI 1640 with 10 mM of HEPES, 2 mM of glutamine, 10% fetal bovine serum and 1% antibiotic‐antimycotic solution at 37°C in humidified atmosphere of 5% CO2. Cells were detached with trypsin and centrifugated at 231 g for 5 min at 10°C, and the pellet (8 × 104 cells/tube) was irradiated at the bottom of 50 ml polypropylene tube with a Twin‐Laser system (660 and 780 nm, 40 mW, 1 mW cm?2, 3.2 and 6.4 J, 80 and 160 J cm?2 with 80 and 160 s). After 1, 3 and 7 days, the analysis was performed. After irradiation, the SC increase mitochondrial activity, gene expression of the neural growth factors NGF and BDNF, and cell migration and increase the G2/M cells. SC showed neuronal morphology, normal F‐actin cytoskeleton organization and positive labeling for S100. PBM increased metabolic activity, mitosis and gene expression when irradiated with red and infrared LLLT. An increase in cell migration was obtained when irradiated with infrared LLLT. 相似文献

Many discussions have enlarged the literature in Bibliometrics since the Hirsch proposal, the so called h-index. Ranking papers according to their citations, this index quantifies a researcher only by its greatest possible number of papers that are cited at least h times. A closed formula for h-index distribution that can be applied for distinct databases is not yet known. In fact, to obtain such distribution, the knowledge of citation distribution of the authors and its specificities are required. Instead of dealing with researchers randomly chosen, here we address different groups based on distinct databases. The first group is composed of physicists and biologists, with data extracted from Institute of Scientific Information (ISI). The second group is composed of computer scientists, in which data were extracted from Google-Scholar system. In this paper, we obtain a general formula for the h-index probability density function (pdf) for groups of authors by using generalized exponentials in the context of escort probability. Our analysis includes the use of several statistical methods to estimate the necessary parameters. Also an exhaustive comparison among the possible candidate distributions are used to describe the way the citations are distributed among authors. The h-index pdf should be used to classify groups of researchers from a quantitative point of view, which is meaningfully interesting to eliminate obscure qualitative methods. 相似文献

A peripheral nerve injury (PNI) can result in motor or sensory disorders. Low‐level laser therapy (LLLT) has demonstrated positive results as a treatment option for PNI. Wistar rats were divided into five groups: Control, Injury, Injury + LLLTn (nerve), Injury + LLLTm (muscle) and Injury + LLLTn + m (nerve and muscle irradiation). The groups were analyzed after one, two, three and four weeks. PNI was achieved by crushing the sciatic nerve. Laser treatment (780 nm, 3.2 J) was realized over the nerve and/or tibialis anterior muscle. In gait analyses, the groups irradiated over the nerve demonstrated an improvement after two weeks. In the analysis of mechanical sensitivity, the Injury + LLLTn demonstrated a reduction after one week in comparison with Injury group; the Injury + LLLTn + m and Injury + LLLTm demonstrated an increase after two weeks in comparison with Injury group; and the irradiated groups demonstrated a reduction in nociception after four weeks in comparison with Injury group. In the analysis of muscle atrophy, the Injury + LLLTn demonstrated more muscle mass after two weeks. LLLT improves functional aspects related to gait, mechanical sensitivity and muscle mass, with better results regarding motor aspects and muscle mass when administered over the injured nerve and better results regarding sensory aspects when administered over the muscle. 相似文献
