Geometric invariant theory and Einstein–Weyl geometry

In this article, we give a survey of geometric invariant theory for Toric Varieties, and present an application to the Einstein-Weyl geometry. We compute the image of the Minitwistor space of the Honda metrics as a categorical quotient according to the most efficient linearization. The result is the complex weighted projective space CP_1,1,2. We also find and classify all possible quotients.     

Diquinolyls

A convenient method was developed for the synthesis of diquinolyls by recombination of quinoline anion radicals formed by reaction of quinolines with active metals. Vinylogous anhydro bases of pyridylindoles

The reaction of quaternary salts of pyridylindoles, the heterocyclic rings in which are separated by an ethylene grouping, with alkali was investigated. It was established that 2-(3-indolylvinyl)pyridinium and -quinolinium salts are converted to stable colored anhydro bases in a methanol solution of alkali.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 10, pp. 1360–1364, October, 1980.     

Effect of micelle formation of quaternary pyridinium salts on their recyclization to anilines

The recyclization of N-alkyl--methylpyridinium salts with an N-alkyl chain consisting of 12 and 16 carbon atoms under the influence of aqueous solutions of sulfites of various amines was studied. Miscellaneous PEDOT:PTS (polythiophenesulfonyl chloride) based conductive binder for silicon anodes in lithium ion batteries

Lithium ion batteries which are an energy storage system have increasing attention owing to suitability and advantages for many applications. Although it has ideal specifications, the capacity properties still have to be developed. In this study, the electrical conductivity of the anode was increased by using a conductive polymer binder and the active material content of the anode was also enhanced without adding carbon additives. Silicon based anodes were manufactured by using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polythiophenesulfonyl chloride (PEDOT:PTS) conductive polymer binders. Si/PEDOT:PTS anode showed about 2000 mAh/g specific capacities after 60 cycles with decreasing impedance.     

Transformations of 1,2-dimethylpyridinium iodide under the influence of sulfites of cyclic amines

The transformations of 1,2-dimethylpyridinium iodide under the influence of sulfites of morpholine, piperidine, and piperazine were investigated. Recyclization of 2-vinylpyridinium quaternary salts

It is shown that in the reaction of 2-vinylpyridinium quaternary salts with methylammonium sulfite under isomerization recyclization conditions a water molecule adds initially to the double bond of the vinyl substituents, after which the resulting carbinols undergo recyclization to N-alkylaniline derivatives.
