The energy difference J of quartet and doublet states in a radical-triplet pair (RTP) has been studied in pairs of triplet naphthalene (Np) derivative/galvinoxyl(Galv) and triplet biphenyl (Biph) derivative/Galv systems by time resolved ESR spectroscopy. Most of the systems studied show an unusual positive sign for J that corresponds to the relative location of the quartet state being below the doublet state. In order to explain this unusual sign of J in RTPs, the effects of intermolecular charge transfer (CT) states were examined. The observation was explained by introducing configuration interaction between zero-order RTP (RTP0) and CT (CT0) states in the encounter pair, where the RTP0 state is located above the CT0 state. Among the RTP systems examined, triplet 1-chloro-Np/Galv, triplet 1-bromo-Np/Galv and triplet 4-cyano-Biph/Galv systems show a normal negative value of J. On the basis of the estimated energy gap between the RTP0 and CT0 states, it was concluded that configuration interaction is not significant in these three RTP systems. The value of J in these RTP systems is dominated by exchange interaction, giving a negative sign. The solvent effect on the sign of J in a triplet Np/Galv system is also reported, as evidence that the sign of J is controlled by the CT0 state.  相似文献

A readout function of a reading light supplier (RLS) is demonstrated by reading out images from an optical addressable spatial light modulator (SLM). The RLS supplies reading light to the reading side of the SLM and transmits readout images from the SLM. The RLS consists of a fiber plate and a redirector which has micro conical-hollows. The RLS contrast, which is the intensity ratio of the reading light to the stray light, is 9.2 and the power efficiency of the reading light supply is about 5%. A writing pattern on the SLM is a checkered pattern of 5 mm×5 mm cells, and it is read out successfully using the RLS. The maximum contrast of the readout image is 1.9.  相似文献

Objective: Early mobilization and rehabilitation has become common and expectations for physical therapists working in intensive care units have increased in Japan. The objective of this study was to establish consensus-based minimum clinical practice standards for physical therapists working in intensive care units in Japan. It also aimed to make an international comparison of minimum clinical practice standards in this area. Methods: In total, 54 experienced physical therapists gave informed consent and participated in this study. A modified Delphi method with questionnaires was used over three rounds. Participants rated 272 items as “essential/unknown/non-essential”. Consensus was considered to be reached on items that over 70% of physical therapists rated as “essential” to clinical practice in the intensive care unit. Results: Of the 272 items in the first round, 188 were deemed essential. In round 2, 11 of the 62 items that failed to reach consensus in round 1 were additionally deemed essential. No item was added to the “essential” consensus in round 3. In total, 199 items were therefore deemed essential as a minimum standard of clinical practice. Participants agreed that 42 items were not essential and failed to reach agreement on 31 others. Identified 199 items were different from those in the UK and Australia due to national laws, cultural and historical backgrounds. Conclusions: This is the first study to develop a consensus-based minimum clinical practice standard for physical therapists working in intensive care units in Japan.  相似文献
