Nine decomposition procedures for soil samples, such as via acid mixtures and fusion in open systems and microwave and autoclave dissolution (in closed systems under elevated temperature and pressure) were assessed using certified soil reference materials. The determination of various elements in solutions was performed by FAAS and ICP-OES and the results were compared with certified values and with direct current arc OES analysis. The solubilisation of poorly soluble antineoplastic drug camptothecin by nonionic surfactants (polysorbates and octylphenol ethoxylates) and alkyldimethylamine oxide surfactants with the alkyl chain length 8 to 16 carbon atoms was investigated. The hydrophobicity of the solubilising agent turned out to be the primary structural parameter controlling the solubility efficiency of camptothecin in an aqueous solution. The quantitative parameter of solubilisation (drug loading coefficient) provided values in the range of 0.1–1.2% and 0.1–1.0% for alkyldimethylamine oxides and nonionic surfactants, respectively. The decreasing number of oxyethylene units and the extension of the hydrophobic part of nonionic surfactant molecule resulted in the increase of camptothecin solubility. From the dynamic light scattering measurements, the hydrodynamic diameter values of camptothecin-loaded alkyldimethylamine oxide and nonionic micelles were found in the range of 4–42 nm and 5–120 nm, respectively. The experimental values confirmed the increase in micellar size with the increasing alkyl chain length. The values of the packing parameter of camptothecin-loaded dodecyldimethylamine oxide micelles indicate their spherical shape at all the investigated surfactant concentrations. A simple computer model of camptothecin-loaded dodecyldimethylamine oxide micelle provided the diameter of the structure cross section which is consistent with the experimental values.   相似文献

Galacto-oligosaccharides are typically produced by an enzymatic reaction when the post-reaction mixture contains considerable amounts of lactose and glucose and a smaller amount of galactose. In order to develop a process of chromatographic removal of saccharide impurities, adsorption equilibria and kinetics of these di- and monosaccharides were investigated for Diaion UBK 530, an industrialgrade strong cation-exchanger in the Na+ form. Frontal chromatographic experiments were carried out in the temperature range of 30–70°C and a broad interval of saccharide concentrations up to 350 g L?1. Breakthrough curves were described using the equilibrium-dispersive model with the linear adsorption isotherm. Both the distribution and the axial dispersion coefficient values depended on the saccharide molecule type and size. No significant effect of temperature or concentration on the distribution coefficient was observed. The apparent dispersion coefficients of all saccharides exhibited some decrease with the temperature, which was caused by the decrease of the intraparticle mass transfer resistance. An analysis showed that both the intraparticle mass transfer and the axial dispersion had a significant influence on the front dispersion.  相似文献

Quantum systems with quadratic Hamiltonians are considered. Some results about the time evolution of homogeneous polynomials and of quantum correlation functions are given. The image of arbitrary orbit of Weyl–Heisenberg group under this time evolution is shown to be again an orbit of this group. For quantum free particle it is shown that its time evolution intersects arbitrary such orbit at most once. The convergence of the dynamics of classical projection to the dynamics of the classical limit is investigated for 0. A mistake from a previous paper is pointed out, and the correct version of the result is given. A process for industrial production of fructooligosaccharides (FOS’s) based on the conversion of sucrose by immobilized fructosyltransferase (FTase) from the cells of Aureobasidium pullulans CCY 27-1-94 was developed. Particular process operations and conditions were designed employing results of laboratory and semi-pilot scale experiments. The process flowsheet comprised three sections: FTase production, which included fermentation, isolation and purification of the enzyme, FTase immobilization and FOS’s production where a product with a high content of FOS’s was prepared by the removal of glucose, fructose and unreacted sucrose from the reaction mixture using simulated moving-bed chromatography. Two alternative process flowsheets were proposed for the annual production of 10 000 t of FOS’s: one for a powdery product and the second one for syrup. The economic analysis provided the costs for the production of immobilized FTase and FOS’s using two different price estimates for sucrose.  相似文献

Quantitative measurement of fission and activation products resulting from neutron irradiation of fissile materials is of interest for applications in environmental monitoring, nuclear waste management, and national security. Based on established separation processes involving co-precipitation, solvent extraction, and ion-exchange and extraction chromatography, we have optimized a proposed sequence of separation steps to allow for the timely quantification of analytes of interest. We have recently evaluated this scheme using an irradiated sample to examine the adequacy of separations for measurement of desired analytes by gamma spectrometry. Here we present the radiochemical separations utilized and the yields and purity obtained.  相似文献

Biological molecules such as enzymes, cells, antibodies, lectins, peptide aptamers, and cellular components in an immobilized form are extensively used in biotechnology, in biorecognition and in many medicinal applications. This review provides a comprehensive summary of the developments in new immobilization materials, techniques, and their practical applications previously developed by the authors. A detailed overview of several immobilization materials and technologies is given here, including bead cellulose, encapsulation in ionotropic gels and polyelectrolyte complexes, and various immobilization protocols applied onto surfaces. In addition, the review summarises the screening and design of an immobilization protocol, practical applications of immobilized biocatalysts in the industrial production of metabolites, monitoring, and control of fermentation processes, preparation of electrochemical/optical biosensors and biofuel cells.  相似文献

Separation performance of sodium, lithium, potassium and hydrogen ionic forms of a commercial cation exchanger, Diaion UBK 530, based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer resin support was studied. The adsorbents were applied to the separation of galactooligosaccharides from their mixture with lactose, glucose and galactose. Separation performance of the hydrogen ionic form of the adsorbent was superior to that of other adsorbent forms. A much higher yield of galactooligosaccharides of the requested purity was achieved for this adsorbent form owing to its better kinetic properties. Adsorption properties of individual adsorbents were discussed in relation to possible adsorption mechanisms.  相似文献
