High-performance counter electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are fabricated with platinum-nickel oxide (Pt-NiO) nanosheets as catalytic materials. Firstly, the Pt-Ni nanosheets are synthesized via galvanic replacement reaction between pre-synthesized Ni nanosheets and an aqueous H2PtCl6 solution. Secondly, after thermal treatment in air, the Pt-Ni alloys are turned to Pt-NiO nanosheets. The related data of cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and Tafel polarization reveal that Pt-NiO counter electrodes show highly catalytic activity and low charge transfer resistance. The DSSC with Pt-NiO counter electrode exhibits power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 8.40 %, which is lower than that of the DSSC containing commercial available Pt counter electrode (9.15 %) under full sunlight illumination (100 mW cm?2, AM1.5G). However, owing to the extremely high transparency of Pt-NiO counter electrode, when putting an Ag mirror behind the back side of the DSSC, the reflected light can bring great enhanced PCE (11.27 %). 相似文献

In order to adjust and broaden the absorption spectrum and emission spectrum of the (F2+)H type color center so as to match up to the pumping and to fit in with the demand of application, a (KBr‐KCl)(OH−):(F2+)H color center laser crystal series was prepared by the process of single crystal growth, additive coloration, anneal, and light aggregation at 290 K and 77 K. The spectral characteristics of (KBr‐KCl)(OH−) crystals are investigated. It is found that the absorption and emission band of the (F2+)H color centers in KBr‐KCl complex host crystals has a considerable adjustment and extensions compared to the color centers in single KBr or KCl crystal. Rechargeable batteries based on multivalent cation (Mvn+, n>1) carriers are considered potentially low-cost alternatives to lithium-ion batteries. However, the high charge-density Mvn+ carriers generally lead to sluggish kinetics and poor structural stability in cathode materials. Herein, we report an Mvn+ storage via intercalation pseudocapacitance mechanism in a 2D bivalve-like organic framework featured with localized ligands. By switching from conventional intercalation to localized ligand-assisted-intercalation pseudocapacitance, the organic cathode exhibits unprecedented fast kinetics with little structural change upon intercalation. It thus enables an excellent power density of 57 kW kg−1 over 20000 cycles for Ca2+ storage and a power density of 14 kW kg−1 with a long cycling life over 45000 cycles for Zn2+ storage. This work may provide a largely unexploited route toward constructing a local dynamic coordination microstructure for ultrafast Mvn+ storage. 相似文献
