Novel mixed valence states have been obtained by the treatment of cobaltous ferrocyanides (Co+2FeII) and ferricyanides (Co+2FeIII) in an ozone flow. The CN stretching bands occur at 2085 cm–1 for Co+2FeII and at 2160 cm–1 for Co+2FeIII. After the ozonization process of Co+2FeII, an intense band approximately at 2125 cm–1 is detected. This intermediate band must correspond to a mixed valence state of the type: FeII–CN–Co2+–NC–FeIII Mössbauer spectra recorded in situ during the ozonization of Co+2FeII show the presence of two components: a doublet with isomer shift and quadrupole splitting values close to the cobalti ferricyanide and a very broad line for the mixed valence state. From the Mössbauer and infrared spectra of the aged samples of the Co+2FeII after ozonization, a relaxation process to the initial state of the samples is observed but the mixed valence state is stable. 相似文献

Crystals of caesium molybdenomethylenediphosphonate, [CsMoO2(CH3O6P2)], were hydrothermally synthesized at 473 K. The monoclinic structure, as determined from single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, is two‐dimensional and consists of stacked mixed layers of corner‐sharing tetrahedral diphosphonate groups and MoO6 octahedra, between which Cs+ cations are intercalated. 相似文献

The photochemical behaviour of twelve phenylmethylthiazole isomers is identical to that of non-methylated products. Thus, in order of decreasing reactivity we have: 2-phenylthiazole or 5-phenylisothiazole > 5-phenylthiazole or 3-phenylisothiazole > 4-phenylthiazole or 4-phenylisothiazole. The two latter undergo photoisomerization only to a slight extent.Most of the rearranged compounds (95%) are formed either by a valence bond isomerization mechanism via bicyclic intermediates where the phenyl group is conjugated to the cycle, or by the Kellogg mechanism, through a 180° rotation around the bonds adjacent to the sulphur atom.These results have furthermore allowed us to confirm the selective action of iodine in these isomerization reactions. 相似文献

A series of redox-responsive ligands that associate the electroactive tetrathiafulvalene core with polyether subunits of various lengths has been synthesized. X-ray structures are provided for each of the free ligands. The requisite structural criteria for reaching switchable ligands are satisfied for the largest macrocycles, that is, planarity of the 1,1',3,3'-tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) pi system and correctly oriented coordinating atoms. The ability of these ligands to recognize various metal cations as a function of the cavity size has been investigated by various techniques (LSIMS, 1H NMR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry). These systems exhibit an unprecedented high coordination ability among TTF crown ethers. Their switchable ligating properties have been confirmed by cyclic voltammetry, and metal-cation complexation has been illustrated by X-ray structures of three of the corresponding metal complexes (Pb2+, Sr2+, and Ba2+). The electrochemical and chemical oxidation of extended TTF 4 and 5 are analysed by cyclic voltammetry, Visible/NIR and ESR spectroscopies, and the X-ray structures of the new salts 5 x BF(4)(CH(2)Cl(2)) and 4 x ClO(4)(THF)(1/2) are presented. The effects of structural factors on the pi-dimerization or the disproportionation reaction of the cation radical are shown. The oxidation of compound 4 presents the successive formation of stable cation radical and dication species both in dichloromethane (DCM) and in a CH(3)CN/THF mixture. In contrast, for compound 5, the stability of the oxidation states strongly depends on the nature of the solvent. In DCM, the oxidation of 5 proceeds by two close one-electron transfers while in CH(3)CN/THF the dication is directly formed via a two-electron process. The X-ray structures of the two salts reveal the formation of pi-dimers of cation radical. While the dimer (5(2))(2+) is due mainly to pi-pi interactions between the conjugating spacer, the multiplication of the sulfur atoms in compound 4 contributes to stabilize the dimer by the combined effects of S-S and pi-pi interactions. Visible/NIR and ESR experiments confirm the higher tendency of 4(+)(.) to dimerize with the occurrence of dimer and monomer in solution, while for 5(+)(.) only the monomer is detected in DCM. On the other hand, by dissolution of 5 x BF(4)(CH(2)Cl(2)) in CH(3)CN, only the neutral and the dicationic states of compounds 5 are observed owing to the disproportionation reaction. 相似文献
