A series of random terpolymers P2-P5 were designed and synthesized by randomly embedding 5 mol%, 10 mol%, 15 mol%and 25 mol% feed ratios of low cost 2,2-bithiophene as the third monomer to the famous donor-acceptor(D-A) type copolymer PTB7-Th(P1). All polymers showed similar molecular weight with number-average molecular weight(Mn) and weight-average molecular weight(Mw) in the range of(59-74) and(93-114) kg·mol~(-1), respectively, to ensure a fair comparison on the structure-property relationships.Compared with the control copolymer PTB7-Th, the random terpolymers exhibited enhanced absorption intensity in a wide range from400 nm to 650 nm in both solution and film as well as in polymer/PC71 BM blends. From grazing incident wide-angle X-ray diffraction(GIWAXS), compared with the regularly alternated copolymer PTB7-Th, the random terpolymers demonstrated mild structural disorder with reduced(100) lamellar stacking and slightly weakened(010) π-π stacking for the polymers as well as slightly reduced PC71 BM aggregation in polymer/PC71 BM blends. However, the measured hole mobility for terpolymers((1.20-3.73) × 104-cm2·V-1·s~(-1)) was evaluated to be comparable or even higher than 1.35 × 10~(-4) cm~2·V~(-1)·s-1 of the alternative copolymer. Enhanced average power conversion efficiency(PCE) from 7.35% to 8.11% and 7.79% to 8.37% was observed in both conventional and inverted device architectures from copolymer P1 to terpolymers P4, while further increasing the 2,2-bithiophene feed ratio decreased the PCE.  相似文献

This paper reports the micromachining results of different materials (Al, Si, InP and fused silica) using a Ti : sapphire laser at the wavelength of 800 and 267 nm with variable pulse lengths in the range from 100 fs to 10 ps. The hole arrays with a diameter up to a few μm through microdrilling are presented. We discussed how an effective suppression of the thermal diffusion inside the ablated materials and an effective microablation could be realized. If the laser fluence is taken only slightly above the threshold, a hole array can be drilled with diameters even smaller than the wavelength of the laser. Hydraphiles are synthetic ion channels that use crown ethers as entry portals and that span phospholipid bilayer membranes. Proton and sodium cation transport by these compounds has been demonstrated in liposomes and planar bilayers. In the present work, whole cell patch clamp experiments show that hydraphiles integrate into the membranes of human embryonic kidney (HEK 293) cells and significantly increase membrane conductance. The altered membrane permeability is reversible, and the cells under study remain vital during the experiment. Control compounds that are too short (C(8)-benzyl channel) to span the bilayer or are inactive owing to a deficiency in the central relay do not induce similar conductance increases. Control experiments confirm that the inactive channel analogues do not show nonspecific effects such as activation of native channels. These studies show that the combination of structural features that have been designed into the hydraphiles afford true, albeit simple, channel function in live cells.  相似文献

Hydraphile compounds are shown to be cytotoxic to Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells. Their cellular toxicity compares favorably with other synthetic ionophores and rivals that potency of natural antibiotics. The effects of structural variations on toxicity are described. The effects of these variations correlate well with previous studies of ion transport in liposomes. Whole cell patch clamping with mammalian cells confirms a channel mechanism in living cells suggesting that this family may comprise novel and flexible pharmacological agents.  相似文献
