In this work, we report the preparation of Al2O3/V2O5 nanocomposit using vanadium and aluminum nitrate by sol–gel method. Characterization of nanocomposit was carried out by powder X‐ray diffractometry (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy‐Dispersive X‐ray (EDX) and UV spectroscopy. Then, applicability of the synthesized nanocomposit was tested as a nanocatalyst for the synthesis of diindolyl oxindole derivatives, an important class of potentially bioactive compounds. The products were obtained in good to high yields from one‐pot three‐component condensation of isatin with indole. Also, this nanocatalyst has been reused several times, without observable loss of activity.  相似文献

The sufficient amounts of bis(salicylaldehyde) thiocarbohydrazone (STCH) as a lipophilic selective element (3%, w/w), sodium nitrobenzene (NB) as a plasticizer (64%, w/w), tetraphenyl borate (NaTPB) as an anionic additive (3%, w/w), and poly vinyl chloride (PVC) as a polymeric matrix (30%, w/w) was employed to form a PVC membrane of a new Pr3+ ions selective sensor to apply as an indicator electrode in analytical applications. The best electrode response was observed in the slope (19.5 ± 0.7 mV per decade) over a wide concentrations from lower (1.0 × 10?6 mol L–1) to higher (1.0 × 10?2 mol L–1) of Pr3+ ion solution with a detection limit of 8.5 × 10–7 mol L–1. This electrode showed the fast response time about 10 second for praseodymium ion concentration range of 1.0 × 10–6 to 1.0 × 10–2 mol L–1, in the pH range of 2.3–7.9. The matched potential method was applied to study the selectivity of electrode toward Pr3+ ions in comparison with many common cations. The results showed the negligible disturbance of all other cations on the proposed praseodymium(III) electrode. The making sensor has been employed successfully as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of praseodymium(III) solution with EDTA at pH 6.0. Moreover the applicability of the sensor was studied in determination of Pr3+ ion in mixtures of different ions.  相似文献

The reaction of dimedone with various aromatic aldehydes produces 2,2'-arylmethylene bis (3-hydroxy-5,5-dimethyl-2-cyclohexene-1-one) in excellent yields. The reactions occur in water as solvent at room temperature and avoiding the addition of any catalyst. A simple and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of β-amino alcohols by ring opening of epoxides in the presence of a catalytic amount of H14[NaP5W29MoO110] at room temperature under solvent-free conditions. The reaction works well for both aromatic and aliphatic amines.  相似文献

Summary.  Hydrogen peroxide readily oxidizes Hantzsch type 1,4-dihydropyridines in the presence of cobalt(II) acetate as catalyst at room temperature. Electrochemically platinum plated aluminum (Al/Pt) was used as an electrode substrate for the electropolymerization of aminophenols and fabrication of composite electrodes based on platinum nano-particles. The poly(o-aminophenol) (PoAP), poly(m-aminophenol) (PmAP), and poly(p-aminophenol) (PpAP) were synthesized on the Al/Pt electrode, and further modification was performed by deposition of platinum nano-particles onto polymer matrixes. The electrochemical and morphological characteristic of the composed electrodes were carried out by cyclic voltammetry and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol on the composite electrodes was studied by cyclic voltammetry in 0.1 M sulfuric acid as supporting electrolyte. It was found that the Al/Pt/PoAP electrode incorporated Pt nano-particles (Al/Pt/PoAP/Pt) exhibits a higher electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of methanol than the Al/Pt/PmAP/Pt and Al/Pt/PpAP/Pt electrodes. On the other hand, a higher catalytic current for methanol oxidation was found on the Al/Pt/PoAP/Pt electrode in comparison to bulk Pt and Al–Pt (Al with 0.2 mg cm−2 of Pt particles) electrodes. The effects of various parameters such as thickness of the polymer film, concentration of the monomer, Pt loading method and the Pt amounts, concentration of the methanol, and the medium temperature were studied on the electrooxidation of methanol. The long-term stability of the modified electrode has also been investigated.  相似文献

Abstract  A mild and efficient method was developed for selective benzylation and methylation of hydroxyl compounds in the presence of a catalytic amount of ferric perchlorate. We showed that ferric perchlorate was very effective in selectively promoting the benzylation and methylation of primary aliphatic and benzylic alcohols versus secondary aliphatic alcohols and phenolic hydroxy groups.
