We present measurements of Eulerian longitudinal velocity autocorrelations in homogeneous, isotropic, high-intensity (~9%) free-stream turbulence behind an active grid. Spatial correlations are measured using particle image velocimetry as well as with two-point hot-wire anemometry (HWA), while temporal correlations are measured using HWA. The temporal correlations are transformed into spatial correlations by using Taylor's ‘frozen’ hypothesis with both the mean as well as instantaneous velocities. A model relating Eulerian spatial and temporal autocorrelations is also used for this purpose. The differences from the measured spatial correlation resulting from the use of Taylor's hypothesis on the temporal correlation is quantified; even at this moderately high level of turbulent intensity, the result from the use of the instantaneous velocity as convection velocity is practically indistinguishable from that obtained using the mean velocity. Use of the model produces a good agreement between the estimates of the spatial correlation function. A relation between Eulerian spatial and temporal integral scales is also derived.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Durch Kondensation verschiedener aromatischer Aldehyde mit 2-Hydroxy-5-chlor-, 4-Hydroxy-3-chlor- und 2-Hydroxy-3-chloracetophenon ist eine Reihe von Chlorhydroxychalkonen dargestellt worden. Die UV-Spektren dieser Chalkone wurden aufgenommen.
A number of chlorohydroxy-chalcones has been prepared by condensation of various aromatic aldehydes with 2-hydroxy-5-chloro-, 4-hydroxy-3-chloro- and 2-hydroxy-3-chloro-acetophenones. The ultra-violet absorption spectra of these chalcones have been recorded.

The stability of copper-seamed C-alkylpyrogallol[4]arene hexamers with varying chain lengths in solution has been studied using small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). The progression in diameter of spherical capsules with increasing alkyl chain lengths of copper-seamed hexamers in solution suggests both robustness as well as a close correlation between the solid phase and solution phase structures.  相似文献

The conversion of aldehydes into carboxylic acids using oxidizing agents is a common protocol in transformation chemistry. An efficient oxidation strategy of transformation of pyrazole‐4‐aldehydes to the corresponding acids using vanadium catalysts in the presence of 30% H2O2 as an oxidant is described. The catalytic technology was successfully applied to a range of various 4‐formylpyrazoles, and plausible mechanism is also discussed.  相似文献

An efficient, metal-free, catalyst-free and solvent-free methodology for the reductive amination of levulinic acid with different anilines has been developed using HBpin as the reducing reagent. This protocol offers an excellent method to avoid solvents and added catalysts on the synthesis of different kinds of N-substituted pyrrolidones under metal free conditions. It is also the first report for the synthesis of different pyrrolidones by solvent-free as well as catalyst-free methods. The proposed mechanism for the formation of pyrrolidone has been supported by DFT calculations and control experiments.  相似文献

Preferential crystallization from a mixture of C-methylresorcin[4]arene (RsC1) and calix[6]arene (Calix6) in the presence of different bases has been investigated. In the presence of pyridine, a boat conformer of RsC1 crystallizes, whereas in the presence of triethylamine, Calix6 crystallizes in a symmetrically distorted conformation. The packing arrangements of the macrocycles show discrete solvent pockets for calixarenes and channels for resorcinarenes.  相似文献

Microwave irradiation accelerates the Michael condensation of 3-dicyanomethylene-2H-indole-2-one with 2-pyrrolidone/ N-methy1-2-pyrrolidone (i) adsorbed on neutral alumina in “dry media” (ii) using absolute ethanol as energy transfer medium. 3-Dicyanoniethylene-2H-indol-2-one was synthesized under microwave irradiation using indole-2,3-dione and malononitrile. The results were compared with those obtained following the classical method. The advantages obtained by the use of microwave irradiation are demonstrated.  相似文献

In a non-aqueous medium, oxidation kinetics of thioglycolic, thiolactic and thiomalic acids by benzimidazolium dichromate have been studied. In the temperature range of 20°C–50°C, oxidation kinetics were examined by spectrophotometry. In terms of oxidant, the reaction is dependent on the unitary order. In the case of thioacids, we find the Michaelis-Menten type kinetics. Hydrogen-ions act as catalyst in this process. The reaction rate slows down as the Mn2+ ion concentration increases. The reaction does not cause acrylonitrile to polymerize. The formation of a thioester into the pre-equilibrium followed by its progressive degradation was postulated as a mechanism.  相似文献
