贵金属纳米粒子表现出许多常规块体材料所不具备的优异性能,其中局域表面等离子体共振 (LSPR) 特性是研究热点之一。LSPR 的形状和位置与纳米粒子的组成、大小、形状、介电性质以及局域介质环境密切相关。基于这一特性,贵金属纳米粒子已广泛应用于光学生物传感器、光过滤器和表面增强光谱等领域。本文对各种结构的贵金属纳米粒子的制备方法及其在光学生物传感器中的应用进行了综述,并对 LSPR 纳米传感器的未来发展前景做了展望。 相似文献

A self-starting stretched-pulse mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser that uses fast and slow semiconductor saturable absorbers is described. By using two absorbers, we obtained reliable operation at a fundamental repetition rate with 250 pJ of pulse energy without multiple-pulse breakup. SiO2–Au core-cap nanostructure arrays were prepared by dip-coating technique combined with wet chemical reduction method. The surface morphologies, structures, and optical properties of the obtained samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometer, respectively. The surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activity of SiO2–Au core-cap nanostructure arrays substrates was investigated using leucine as probe molecule. And the relationship between the SERS effect and the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) peaks was discussed. High-quality, stable, and reproducible SERS spectra of leucine were successfully obtained. When the maximum SPR peak matched with the excitation wavelength, the substrate gave rise to the highest SERS enhancement. Furthermore, six different fluorescent dyes were also chosen as probe molecules. It was found that the substrate showed good Raman enhancement and highly efficient fluorescence quenching characteristic on these fluorescent dyes. 相似文献

In this study, large-scale qualitative and quantitative proteomic technology was applied to the analysis of the opportunistic bacterial pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa grown under magnesium limitation, an environmental condition previously shown to induce expression of various virulence factors. For quantitative analysis, whole cell and membrane proteins were differentially labeled with isotope-coded affinity tag (ICAT) reagents and ICAT reagent-labeled peptides were separated by two-dimensional chromatography prior to analysis by electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) in an ion trap mass spectrometer (ITMS). To increase the number of protein identifications, gas-phase fractionation (GPF) in the m/z dimension was employed for analysis of ICAT peptides derived from whole cell extracts. The experiments confirmed expression of 1331 P. aeruginosa proteins of which 145 were differentially expressed upon limitation of magnesium. A number of conserved Gram-negative magnesium stress-response proteins involved in bacterial virulence were among the most abundant proteins induced in low magnesium. Comparative ICAT analysis of membrane versus whole cell protein indicated that growth of P. aeruginosa in low magnesium resulted in altered subcellular compartmentalization of large enzyme complexes such as ribosomes. This result was confirmed by 2-D PAGE analysis of P. aeruginosa outer membrane proteins. This study shows that large-scale quantitative proteomic technology can be successfully applied to the analysis of whole bacteria and to the discovery of functionally relevant biologic phenotypes. 相似文献

An actively mode-locked fiber laser is demonstrated, for the first time to our knowledge, by modulation of a saturable-absorber mirror with the light used simultaneously for pumping the gain fiber. Stabilization of a harmonically passive mode-locked fiber laser that generates soliton pulses of 550-fs duration is obtained with this technique. The results indicate a reduction of supermode suppression by more than 55 dB. The timing jitter is improved by 9 dB. 相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a reflection-type optical modulator, with surface-normal architecture, that exploits the optical saturation of absorption in semiconductor quantum wells. The modulation section of the modulator, which is composed of quantum wells placed within a Fabry-Perot cavity, is optically controlled by an intensity-modulated beam generated by an in-plane laser integrated monolithically on the same wafer and grown in a single epitaxial step. The modulation section and the in-plane laser share the same medium; therefore, efficient coupling between the control beam and the signal beam is achieved. The device was successfully used for active mode locking of an erbium-doped fiber laser. 相似文献

Resonant cavity light emitting diodes (RC-LEDs) and vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) for the red wavelength range are presented in the paper. A wide variety of simulation tools were employed in the device design and optimization and the good agreement between simulations and measurements enabled effective device development. Our red wavelength range RC-LEDs were mainly intended for short-haul communication systems based on polymethyl methacrylate plastic optical fiber and were optimized accordingly. They are achieving, under different structure and working regime variants, high output power (15 mW), high external efficiency (9.5%), record small-signal modulation bandwidth (f
-3dB
up to 350 MHz), error-free back-to-back transmission rates beyond 622 Mbits/s, adjustable far-field pattern and good POF coupling efficiency with reasonably wide tolerances and without using auxiliary optics. In view of the possible use of graded-index POFs, free-space transmission and other high bandwidth or high spectral purity applications, VCSELs in the red wavelength range were also realized. They have achieved sub-milliamp room-temperature (RT) continuous-wave (CW) lasing for an 8 m diameter emission window and exhibited an external quantum efficiency of 6.65% for 10 m devices in RT CW operation. The VCSEL structures were far from optimal – not even incorporating all the RC-LED structure refinements – and significant improvement in performance characteristics are predicted for the optimized layer structure. 相似文献
