The synthesis has been effected of new representatives of the imidazo[1,2-b]-1,2,4-triazepin-4-ones (-thiones). Reactions of 4-chloro-7-dialkylamino- and 3-alkyl-4-chloro-7-dialkylaminocoumarins with primary and secondary alkylamines

Reaction of series of 4-chloro-7-dialkylaminocoumarins and 3-alkyl-4-chloro-7-dialkylaminocoumarins with primary and secondary amines, namely tert-butylamine, benzylamine, cyclohexylamine, monoethanolamine, diethylamine, piperidine, and morpholine, has yielded novel substituted 4,7-diaminocoumarins. Studies on pyrazoles

The possibility of the separation into optical antipodes of racemic amino acids of the pyrazole series has been investigated. The trans configuration of the acrylic acids obtained as by-products in the synthesis of -amino acids of the pyrazole series by the Rodionov reaction has been shown by PMR and IR spectroscopy. The IR spectra of a series of amino acids are discussed.For part LXII, see [1].     

Indoles

Indoles

A method is proposed for the synthesis of 2,3,3a,8a-tetrahydrofuro[2,3-b]indole derivatives; the method is based on the reaction of 3-alkyl-3-acyl-γ-butyrolactones with N₁-substituted arylhydrazines in acidic aqueous alcohol media.     

Indolylalkylamines from arylhydrazines and γ- or δ-halocarbonyl compounds (review)

A series of papers devoted to the synthesis of tryptamines and related structures (tryptophols, homotryptamines, eserines, azatryptamines, etc.) from halocarbonyl compounds and arylhydrazines are correlated. The data on the mechanism of the reaction can be successfully applied to the Fischer indole synthesis.     

Synthesis of N(1)-substituted 5-amino-3-methylpyrazoles

Indoles

The cyclization of diethyl ketone m-nitrophenylhydrazone under different conditions always gives a mixture of the isomeric 4-nitro-3-methyl-2-ethylindole and 6-nitro-3-methyl-2-ethylindole, generally with a certain predominance of the former. The isomer ratio depends on the nature of the catalyst used.
