The Gibbs energy ΔG b of formation of organic molecule complexes with the Mg2+ ion in water was calculated on the basis of a two-stage scheme for the complex formation reaction. The first stage is ligand transfer from infinity into the second coordination sphere of the Mg2+ ion, and the second stage is the dissociation of bonds between water molecules and the Mg2+ ion and the formation of bonds between the ligand and Mg2+. The contribution of the first reaction stage to ΔG b was calculated on the assumption that the ligand was a solid body with a charge or dipole moment (if the ligand was neutral). The contribution of the second stage to ΔG b was calculated using quantum-chemical modeling. The major contribution to ΔG b was made by a change in the internal energy of the complex as a result of the dissociation/formation of coordination bonds and a change in the electric component of the Gibbs energy of interaction between the magnesium ion and molecule with water when they formed a complex. The contribution of the nonpolar component of complex interaction with water was comparatively small. Accurate calculations of the contribution of vibrational degrees of freedom to ΔG b were also of importance.  相似文献

Calculations of the barriers to internal rotation and inversion of the amino group in substituted pyrimidines have been performed. Torsion and inversion barriers were determined by several ab initio methods: HF, HF/MP2, MP4, CISD, QCISD, QCISD(T), CCSD, and CCSD(T). DFT method also employed. Dependencies of the calculated barrier heights on the basis set and the electron correlation level and on the substitution position of the nitrogen atom in the ring were studied. We have determined that for certain molecules relatively low level calculations may eventually provide adequate results, but in general, higher level calculations are necessary.  相似文献

A solution of the two-dimensional integro-differential equation describing diffraction of electromagnetic waves on metallic nanovibrators and on nanocrystals coated by a metallic film was obtained. Copper and gold nanoantenna characteristics were studied theoretically in the optical range. It was noted that the dependence of the scattered field on frequency is of a resonant character and the resonant wavelengths of nanovibrators are larger than those of an ideally conducting vibrator of the same size.  相似文献

The steady (acoustic) streaming associated with a sphericaldrop displaced from the velocity antinode of a standing waveis studied. The ratio of the particle size to the acoustic wavelengthis treated as small but non-zero, and the solution is developedin the form of a two-term expansion in terms of the correspondingsmallness parameter. The drop viscosity is assumed to be muchhigher than that of the surrounding fluid, which is the casefor a drop in a gas medium. There are essentially three distinctregions where the steady streaming flow is analysed: insidethe drop (internal circulation), in the Stokes shear-wave layerat the surface on the gas side, and the gas outside the Stokeslayer (the outer streaming region). Solutions for the internalcirculation and the outer streaming are obtained in the limitof small Reynolds number. Despite the gas-to-liquid viscosity ratio being small, the outerstreaming may be dramatically affected by the fact that thesphere is liquid as opposed to solid. The parameter that measuresthe effect of liquidity is essentially the viscosity ratio dividedby the relative (to the particle size) thickness of the Stokeslayer. The case of a solid sphere is recovered by letting thisparameter go to zero.  相似文献

Cytostatic chemotherapeutics provide a classical means to treat cancer, but conventional treatments have not increased in efficacy in the past years, warranting a search for new approaches to therapy. The aim of the study was, therefore, to obtain methacrylic acid (MAA) (co)polymers and to study their immunopharmacological properties. 4-Cyano-4-[(dodecylsulfanylthiocarbonyl)sulfanyl] pentanoic acid (CDSPA) and 2-cyano-2-propyl dodecyl trithiocarbonate (CPDT) were used as reversible chain transfer agents. Experiments were carried out in Wistar rats. The MTT assay was used to evaluate the cytotoxic effect of the polymeric systems on peritoneal macrophages. An experimental tumor model was obtained by grafting RMK-1 breast cancer cells. Serum cytokine levels of tumor-bearing rats were analyzed. The chain transfer agents employed in classical radical polymerization substantially reduced the molecular weight of the resulting polymers, but a narrow molecular weight distribution was achieved only with CDSPA and high CPDT concentrations. Toxicity was not observed when incubating peritoneal macrophages with polymeric systems. In tumor-bearing rats, the IL-10 concentration was 1.7 times higher and the IL-17 concentration was less than half that of intact rats. Polymeric systems decreased the IL-10 concentration and normalized the IL-17 concentration in tumor-bearing rats. The maximum effect was observed for a MAA homopolymer with a high molecular weight. The anion-active polymers proposed as carrier constituents are promising for further studies and designs of carrier constituents of drug derivatives.  相似文献

The effect of intrinsic defects on the electronic structure of boron-nitrogen nanotubes (5, 5) and (9, 0) is investigated by the method of linearized associated cylindrical waves. Nanotubes with extended defects of substitution N B of a boron atom by a nitrogen atom and, vice versa, nitrogen by boron BN with an impurity concentration of 1.5 to 5% are considered. It is shown that the presence of such defects significantly affects the band structure of boron-nitrogen nanotubes. A defect band Dπ(B, N) is formed in the bandgap, which sharply reduces the width of the gap. The presence of impurities also affects the valence band: the widths of s, sp, and pπ bands change and the gap between s and sp bands is partially filled. These effects may be detected experimentally by, e.g., optical and photoelectron spectroscopy.  相似文献

It is known that the HIV-1 integrase (IN) strand transfer inhibitors include the chelating fragments forming the coordinating bonds with two Mg2+ ions placed in the IN active site. The subject of the article is the role of these coordination bonds on stability of ligand–IN complexes. For this purpose, a set of ligand–IN complexes was investigated theoretically and experimentally. The theoretical model is based on the quantum-chemistry calculations of coordinating bonds geometry and energy. Solvent effects were taking into account using the implicit water model and the two-stage calculation scheme developed previously. For the experimental part of our study a set of the ligands was synthesized, and their IC50 values of IN inhibiting have been measured. It is shown that the main contribution to ligand–IN complexes stability is caused by the substitution of water molecules by the ligand in the first coordination sphere of two Mg2+ ions, and the change in the polarization energy of the bulk water. It is shown, that acid–base equilibrium and tautomeric forms of the ligands should be taken into account to improve the prediction ability of the theoretical estimations. All these factors are controlled by the chelating fragments of the ligands. It is demonstrated that our theoretical approach based on the consideration of the coordinating bonds allows to separate active ligands (inhibitors) from inactive ones.  相似文献
