This paper deals with the Cauchy–Dirichlet problem for the fractional Cahn–Hilliard equation. The main results consist of global (in time) existence of weak solutions, characterization of parabolic smoothing effects (implying under proper condition eventual boundedness of trajectories), and convergence of each solution to a (single) equilibrium. In particular, to prove the convergence result, a variant of the so-called ?ojasiewicz–Simon inequality is provided for the fractional Dirichlet Laplacian and (possibly) non-analytic (but ) nonlinearities. 相似文献

By combining frontal polymerization and radical‐induced cationic polymerization, it was possible to cure thick samples of an epoxy monomer bleached by UV light. Roughness effect on the heat transfer and pressure loss performances of microscale tubes and channels are investigated through a finite element CFD code. Surface roughness is explicitly modelled through a set of random generated peaks along the ideal smooth surface. Different peak shapes and distributions are considered; geometrical parameters are representative of tubes in the diameter range from 50 to 150 μm. The use of a fine enough mesh allows the direct computation of tube performances under the assumption of incompressible fully developed flow. As a result, a significant increase in Poiseuille number is detected for all of the configurations considered, while the effect of roughness on heat transfer rate is smaller and highly dependent on the tube shape. 相似文献

New fluorinated, polyfunctional propenyl ether functionalized resins were synthesized, and their behavior in cationic photopolymerization was investigated. The photopolymerization proceeded efficiently with a high double‐bond conversion (>90%), giving rise to UV‐cured coatings characterized by low glass‐transition temperatures (?33 °C ≤ glass‐transition temperature ≤ ?15 °C) and hydrophobic surface properties.
