The structural changes of copper hexacyanoferrate (CuHCF), a Prussian blue analogue, which occur when used as a cathode in an aqueous Zn-ion battery, are investigated using electron microscopy techniques. The evolution of ZnxCu1−xHCF phases possessing wire and cubic morphologies from initial CuHCF nanoparticles are monitored after hundreds of cycles. Irreversible introduction of Zn ions to CuHCF is revealed locally using scanning transmission electron microscopy. A substitution mechanism is proposed to explain the increasing Zn content within the cathode material while simultaneously the Cu content is lowered during Zn-ion battery cycling. The present study demonstrates that the irreversible introduction of Zn ions is responsible for the decreasing Zn ion capacity of the CuHCF cathode in high electrolyte concentration.  相似文献

The preparation of glass-ionomer cements based on the composition of SiO2–Al2O3–CaO–SrO–F and evaluation of their properties is described. Cements were prepared via the sol–gel method and characterized by XRD, BET, SEM, and EDAX analysis. The effect of various concentrations of Sr on in vitro bioactivity of the glass speciments was investigated. In vitro bioactivity of the samples was evaluated by soaking them in simulated body fluid followed by structural characterization using SEM and atomic absorption analysis. A glass specimen with 0.5 mol of Sr exhibited appropriate bioactivity.  相似文献

Equations are written for the velocities of rotation and translation of rigid rod-like particles suspended in arbitrary Stokes flows. These make use of the first approximation from slender body theory for the evaluation of drag forces parallel and transverse to the particle axis, and neglect couples induced by shear stress at the particle surface. They are therefore asymptotically valid as the particle axis ratio becomes large. Simple forms of the equations, applying in constant viscosity flows, are solved, where possible analytically and otherwise numerically, and results obtained for particle motion in planar Poiseuille and sink flows. These are discussed and displayed in terms of appropriate dimensionless groups in a comprehensive set of plots, that can conveniently be used to provide information on translational and rotational velocities, and orientation and displacement as a function of time, including particle slip along and across streamlines, for a wide range of cases. In this way the effects of non-homogeneity in the flow fields are quantified.  相似文献

The structure and dynamics of early stage kinetics of pressure-induced phase separation of compressible polymer solutions via spinodal decomposition is analyzed using a linear Euler-Cahn-Hilliard model and the modified Sanchez Lacombe equation of state. The integrated density wave and Cahn-Hilliard equations combine the kinetic and structural characteristics of spinodal decomposition with density waves arising from pressure-induced couplings. When mass transfer rate is slower that acoustic waves, concentration gradients generate density waves that cycle back into the spinodal decomposition dynamics, resulting in oscillatory demixing. The wave attenuation increases with increasing mass transfer rates eventually leading to nonoscillatory spinodal demixing. The novel aspects of acousto-spinodal decomposition arise from the coexistence of stable oscillatory density dynamics and the unstable monotonic concentration dynamics. Scaling laws for structure and dynamics indicate deviations from incompressible behavior, with a significant slowing down of demixing due to couplings with density waves. Partial structure factors for density and density-concentration reflect the oscillatory nature of acousto-spinodal modes at lower wave vectors, while the single maximum at a constant wave vector reflects the presence of a dominant mode in the linear regime. The computed total structure factor is in qualitative agreement with experimental data for a similar polymer solution.  相似文献

The copper complex [Cu((t)BuPhimp)(Cl)] (1) derived from tridentate ligand (t)BuPhimpH having N(2)O donors was synthesized, and its molecular structure was determined. A phenoxyl radical complex was generated in solution at room temperature using Ce(IV). The nuclease and anticancer activities of 1 were investigated. The aim of this work was to investigate the effect of different cooling rates on the microstructure and solidification parameters of 2024 aluminum alloy. Solidification characteristics are recognized from the cooling curve and its first and second derivative curves which have been plotted using thermal analysis technique. In this study, a mold having high cooling rate was designed and used to simulate the direct-chill casting process. The results of thermal analysis show that the characteristic parameters of Al2024 alloy are influenced by cooling rate. The cooling rates used in the present study range from 0.4 to 17.5 °C s?1. Increasing the cooling rate affects the undercooling parameters both in liquidus and eutectic solidification regions. Investigations showed that solidification parameters such as nucleation temperature, recalescence undercooling temperature, and range of solidification temperature are influenced by variation of cooling rates. Microstructural evaluation was carried out to present the correlation between the cooling rate and dendrite arm spacing.  相似文献
