A general route to functionalized pentakis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl (C6(CF3)5) derivatives, promising building blocks for designing novel stable carbenes, radical species, superacids, weakly coordinating anions and other practically and theoretically useful species, is presented. This pertrifluoromethylation route proceeds via conveniently pregenerated (trifluoromethyl)copper (CF3Cu) species in DMF, stabilized by addition of 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone (DMI). These species react with hexaiodobenzene at ambient temperature to give the potassium pentakis(trifluoromethyl)phenoxide along with hexakis(trifluoromethyl)benzene and pentakis(trifluoromethyl)benzene in a combined yield of 80%. A possible reaction pathway explaining the formation of pentakis(trifluoromethyl)phenoxide is proposed. Pentakis(trifluoromethyl)phenol gives rise to easily functionalized pentakis(trifluoromethyl)chlorobenzene and pentakis(trifluoromethyl)aniline. Pertrifluoromethylation of pentaiodochlorobenzene and pentaiodotoluene allows straightforward access to pentakis(trifluoromethyl)chlorobenzene and pentakis(trifluoromethyl)toluene, respectively. XRD structures of several C6(CF3)5 derivatives were determined and compared with the calculated structures. Due to the steric crowding the aromatic rings in all C6(CF3)5 derivatives are significantly distorted. The gas-phase acidities (Delta Gacid) and pKa values in different solvents (acetonitrile (AN), DMSO, water) for the title compounds and a number of related compounds have been measured. The origin of the acidifying effect of the C6(CF3)5 group has been explored using the isodesmic reactions approach. 相似文献

TiO2 film was synthesized by means of the chemical bath deposition (CBD) method from TiCl4 as a precursor and surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as a linking and assembling agent of the titanium hydroxide
network on a graphite substrate. Ag and Cu were loaded on the TiO2 film by means of electrodeposition at various applied currents. Photoelectrochemical testing on the composite of Ag-TiO2/G and Cu-TiO2/G was used to define the composite for Escherichia coli-contaminated water disinfection. Disinfection efficiency and the rate of disinfection of E. coli-contaminated water with Ag-TiO2/G as a catalyst was higher than that observed for Cu-TiO2/G in all disinfection methods including photocatalysis (PC), electrocatalysis (EC), and photoelectrocatalysis (PEC). The
highest rate constant was achieved by the PEC method using Ag-TiO2/G, k was 6.49 × 10−2 CFU mL−1 min−1. Effective disinfection times of 24 h (EDT24) and 48 h (EDT48) were achieved in all methods except the EC method using Cu-TiO2/G. 相似文献

Monitoring fluctuations in enzyme overexpression facilitates early tumor detection and excision. An AIEgen probe (DQM‐ALP) for the imaging of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was synthesized. The probe consists of a quinoline‐malononitrile (QM) core decorated with hydrophilic phosphate groups as ALP‐recognition units. The rapid liberation of DQM‐OH aggregates in the presence of ALP resulted in aggregation‐induced fluorescence. The up‐regulation of ALP expression in tumor cells was imaged using DQM‐ALP. The probe permeated into 3D cervical and liver tumor spheroids for imaging spatially heterogeneous ALP activity with high spatial resolution on a two‐photon microscopy platform, providing the fluorescence‐guided recognition of sub‐millimeter tumorigenesis. DQM‐ALP enabled differentiation between tumor and normal tissue ex vivo and in vivo, suggesting that the probe may serve as a powerful tool to assist surgeons during tumor resection. 相似文献

Soft conducting materials in the shape of microfibers with various functional geometries are crucial for soft electronics. To develop highly stretchable conducting microfibers, a microfluidic method is used to prepare hydrogels in a double-network structure. Based on the coagulation of chitosan in cold water and simultaneous photopolymerization and photocrosslinking of N-isopropylacrylamide and N-diethylacrylamide, long microfibers with controlled uniform diameters can be obtained at the junction of a coaxially aligned microchannel device. After further reinforcement of the chitosan chain and exchange of the medium of the hydrogel microfiber with an aqueous electrolyte of lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, the prepared ionic hydrogel exhibits high conductivity and stretchability and dry-free properties. Owing to its mechanical robustness and ionic conductivity, we envision a highly stretchable soft electrode with the prepared ionic hydrogel microfiber that can be stretched up to 900%. This fiber has potential for applications in soft electronics and wearable devices. 相似文献

All-cellulose nanocomposites using bacterial cellulose (BC) as a single raw material were prepared by a surface selective
dissolution method. The effect of the immersion time of BC in the solvent (lithium chloride/N,N-dimethylacetamide) during preparation on the nanocomposite properties was investigated. The structure, morphology and mechanical
properties of the nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and tensile testing.
The optimum immersion time of 10 min allowed the preparation of nanocomposites with an average tensile strength of 411 MPa
and Young’s modulus of 18 GPa. With the longest immersion time of 60 min, the prepared composite sheet turns to express a
very high toughness characteristic possessing a work-to-fracture as high as 16 MJ/m3. These biobased nanocomposites show high performances thanks to their unique structure and properties. 相似文献

We describe the development of an N-heterocyclic carbene catalysed homoenolate addition to 4-nitro-5-styrylisoxazoles to give substituted cyclopentanones with a unique substitution pattern and as single diastereoisomers. Herein we describe two coupling reactions of aldehydes and activated alkynes to give chalcones or alkenyl esters depending on the base used. Chalcones were obtained by activation of alkynes by AuI and of aldehydes by NHC in presence of triethylamine. Alkenyl esters were obtained via generation of gold nanoparticles, aerial oxidation of aldehydes to carboxylates and their subsequent nucleophilic addition to the alkyne functionality. 相似文献
