Samples of sodium polystyrenesulfonate of molecular weights varying in a 20-fold range were synthesized. The hydrodynamic behavior of the samples was studied in a 0.2 M NaCl solution in which the initial polyelectrolyte effects are suppressed. Relationships between the molecular weight and the translational friction coefficient and intrinsic viscosity were obtained. The theory describing the hydrodynamic behavior of wormlike chains with taking into account both the percolation effects and the excluded-volume effects was applied to estimation of the length of the statistical segment and the cross section of the sodium polystyrenesulfonate molecules in 0.2 M NaCl solution.  相似文献

The IR spectra of solutions of (=OSi)-(benzoyloxymethyl)trifluorosilane (1),-(benzoyloxymethyl)methyldifluorosilane (2), and butyl benzoate (3) are examined in the region of thev(C=O) stretching vibrations in 24 solvents. The ability of compounds1—3 to undergo specific intermolecular interactions is evaluated from the dependence ofv(C=O) on the Kamlet-Taft (*,, ) parameters, which was obtained for the carbonyl groups involved in the intramolecular coordinate (=OSi) bond and for free carbonyl groups. The corresponding values of the coefficients in the Kamlet-Taft equations are indicative of a weak ability of pentacoordinate silicon compounds1 and2 to undergo acid-base interactions.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. A novel method for the synthesis of the oxime of 4-methyl-2,4,6-cycloheptatrien-1-one (Eschenmoser's oxime) is proposed. The method involves redox enlargement of the ring of 4-dibromomethyl-4-methyl-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-one oxime through the action of Ni(PPh3)4 in DMF (in the presence of Zn). The product is formed as a mixture ofsyn- andanti-forms readily interconverting in solutions. A similar reaction of 4-methyl-4-trichloromethyl-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-one oxime afforded the dimer of agem--centered semiquinoid carbene (1,2-bis-(1-methyl-4-oxyimino-2,5-cyclohexadienyl)-1,2-dichloroethylene), together withsyn- andanti-isomers of 4-chloro-5-methyl-2,4,6-cycloheptatrien-1-one oxime, which are readily separable but also quickly interconverting in solutions. Ascorbate oxidase fromCucurbita sp. was isolated by ammonium sulfate precipitation and DEAE-dextran-silochrome column chromatography. The thermal and pH stabilities of the purified enzyme were investigated. TheK M forl-ascorbic acid (1.5 mM) and chlorohydroquinone (0.37 mM) was determined. Substrate specificity of ascorbate oxidase was investigated and compared with those of laccases fromCoriolus hirsutus andCerrena maxima. Ascorbate oxidase was covalently bound to a polymeric membrane and used in an enzyme electrode for ascorbic acid.  相似文献

Two (1,3,4)-oxadiazole ligands have been prepared. In one case the oxadiazole ring is flanked by two o-aniline groups, and in the other case it is an extension of the first where the amines are condensed with 2-picolyl groups. A monometallic copper(II) complex of the former has been prepared, and its crystal structure was determined. A number of bimetallic copper(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) complexes of the di-deprotonated latter ligand were prepared and isolated. The crystal structure of the cobalt(II) complex bearing two acetate bridges is reported. The work demonstrates that the seldom-employed oxadiazole ring can be used effectively for generating bimetallic complexes.  相似文献

In order to study the interrelationship between the structure, reactivity, and spectroscopic characteristics of the stereoisomeric piperidines, starting from 1-tert-butyl-3-methylpiperidin-4-one the synthesis has been performed of the geometric isomers of some 4-substituted 1-tert-butyl-3-methylpiperidin-4-ols and 4-acyloxy-1-tert-butyl-3-methylpiperidines. Reaction of 3,6-bis(vinylsulfonyl)-1,2,4,5-tetrafluorobenzene with dialkyl phosphites at thermal initiation (70°C) gives rise to 3,6-bis(dialkoxyphosphonoethylsulfonyl)-1,2,4,5-tetrafluorobenzenes in up to 45% yield. The formation of diethoxyphosphonyl radicals in the course of the reaction was observed with the use of ESR method applying spin trapping by 2-methyl-2-nitrosopropane. The use as initiator of the azo-bis-isobutyronitrile increased the yield of diadducts to 60%.  相似文献
