Titanium(4+) and zirconium(4+) dichloride complexes with pyridinedicarboxylic acid derivatives as ethylene polymerization catalysts

Titanium(4+) and zirconium(4+) complexes with pyridinedicarboxylic acid derivatives have been synthesized. The composition and structure of the synthesized 2,6-bis(diphenylhydroxymethyl)pyridine complexes have been corroborated by NMR and IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The complexes activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO) are catalytically active in ethylene polymerization, Depending on the Ti/Al_MAO ratio, the catalytic activity of the complexes varies between 90 and 420 kg PE/mol Ti h atm.     

Properties of copolyamido esters prepared by anionic copolymerization of ω-dodecalactam, ɛ-caprolactam, and ɛ-caprolactone

The possibility of anionic copolymerization of ω-dodecalactam, ?-caprolactam, and ?-caprolactone in the presence of catalytic amounts of sodium caprolactamate and 2,4-toluene diisocyanate as activator was examined.     

Synergistic Phenomena in Modification of Polyolefins with Mixtures of Isocyanates and Epoxides

Modification of commercial polyolefins with binary mixtures of isocyanates and epoxides was studied; the influence of the order of adding components on the performance of the modifying system was examined.     

Chemical Modification of Polypropylene with Isocyanate-ε-Caprolactam Mixtures

Modification of polypropylene with isocyanate--caprolactam mixtures was studied. The effect of these mixtures as influenced by the sequence of introduction of their components was examined.     

Crystal structure of the molecular complex of 1,3,5-<Emphasis Type="Italic">tris</Emphasis>-<Emphasis Type="Italic">m</Emphasis>-chlorophenylisocyanurate with ε-caprolactone

The molecular complexes of 1,3,5-tris-m-chlorophenylisocyanurate and ε-caprolactone were synthesized by the reaction of the latter with 3-chlorophenylisocyanate in the presence of triethylamine. Single crystals were grown, and the molecular and crystal structures of the synthesized complexes were investigated.     

Thermal Properties of Copolymers of Sodium 2-Acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonate with N-Vinylpyrrolidone

Thermal transformations of sodium 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonate-N-vinylpyrrolidone copolymers of various chemical compositions were studied by thermogravimetric, differential thermal, and thermomechanical analyses within 20-600°C in air. The thermal degradation parameters in various temperature ranges were estimated, as well as the heat resistance of the copolymers.

Structure and characteristics of copolyamides based on ε-caprolactam and diisocyanates

The main supramolecular characteristics and the processing and service characteristics of copolyamides based on -caprolactam and hexamethylene diisocyanate were studied. Chemical transformations in the course of modification of crystalline polyolefins with mixtures based on 2,4-toluene diisocyanate and-caprolactone

Chemical modification of polyolefins (polypropylene, high-density polyethylene) with mixtures of isocyanates and ε-caprolactone was studied. Chemical transformations occurring in the course of modification of polyolefins with a binary modifying system containing 2,4-toluene diisocyanate and ε-caprolactone in the presence of sodium caprolactamate catalyst were studied using model systems based on α-olefins.     

Anionic Copolymerization of γ-Butyrolactone and 2,4-Toluene Diisocyanate in the Presence of Triethylamine

Anionic copolymerization of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate with γ-butyrolactone in the presence of triethylamine was performed. The chemical structure of the copolymer obtained was determined by IR and ¹H NMR spectroscopy, and some kinetic features of the process were revealed.
