An approach has been proposed for determining the space-time parameters of the formation process of Liesegang rings. This approach relates the processes of the formation of nanoparticles and dense periodic precipitates from them. Dynamic light scattering is employed to reveal periodic variations in the intensity of light scattered by nanoparticles with different sizes, from which Liesegang rings are formed. A relationship between the periods of the variations in the intensity of light scattered by nanoparticles (microscopic process) and the times of the formation of Liesegang rings as a whole (macroscopic process) has been found.  相似文献

Dynamic light scattering has been employed to study the time evolution of a sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate/isooctane/water/quercetin/AgNO3 system during the formation of reverse micelles (RMs), as well as water solubilization and formation of Ag nanoparticles (NPs) in them. It has been shown that physicochemical processes occurring in the reverse micellar system lead to the formation of light-scattering elements with average sizes of 0.67?2 nm (individual molecules of the surfactant and reductant), 2.5?4.5 nm (“dry” RMs) and 16?20 nm (RMs containing Ag NPs). The synthesis is accompanied by the formation of silver NPs with other sizes in an amount of less than 5%.  相似文献

The kinetics of the formation of Liesegang rings is considered and they are classified. The relationship between the position of the propagating diffusion front and the moments of the formation of Liesegang rings is shown. In order to describe the formation processes of the Liesegang rings a generalized model based on the diffusion equation hierarchy is proposed. The kinetics of changes in the dispersed phase sizes at the initial stage of the formation of Liesegang rings is studied.  相似文献
