The joint probability distribution function (PDF) of the height and its gradients is derived for a zero tension d + 1-dimensional Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) equation. It is proved that the height's PDF of zero tension KPZ equation shows lack of positivity after a finite time t c . The properties of zero tension KPZ equation and its differences with the case that it possess an infinitesimal surface tension is discussed. Also potential relation between the time scale t c and the singularity time scale t c.v→0 of the KPZ equation with an infinitesimal surface tension is investigated.  相似文献

Using the Martin-Siggia-Rose method, we study propagation of acoustic waves in strongly heterogeneous media which are characterized by a broad distribution of the elastic constants. Gaussian-white distributed elastic constants, as well as those with long-range correlations with nondecaying power-law correlation functions, are considered. The study is motivated in part by a recent discovery that the elastic moduli of rock at large length scales may be characterized by long-range power-law correlation functions. Depending on the disorder, the renormalization group (RG) flows exhibit a transition to localized regime in any dimension. We have numerically checked the RG results using the transfer-matrix method and direct numerical simulations for one- and two-dimensional systems, respectively.  相似文献

In this study, maghemite (γ‐Fe2O3) nanoparticles were initially synthesized via chemical co‐precipitation and then deposited by spray pyrolysis as thin films on white glass substrates. The thin films were annealed for 8 h at 400, 450, 500, 550, and 600 °C in an oven. The structural studies of maghemite nanoparticles were carried out using X‐ray diffractometer. Structural properties that we investigated by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, SEM, and Energy dispersive X‐ray analysis (EDS). Optical properties of the samples were also investigated by ultraviolet‐visible (UV–vis) spectroscopy. The results showed that maghemite nanoparticles have crystalline structure with domain that increases in size with increasing annealing temperature. The optical band gap values were found to reduce from 2.9 to 2.4 eV with increase in annealing temperature. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The tricyclic isatin, 5,6‐dihydro‐4H‐pyrrolo[3,2,1‐ij]quinoline‐1,2‐dione, undergoes three‐component, one‐pot reactions with 1‐aryl‐3‐methylpyrazole‐5‐amines and cyclohexane‐1,3‐diones producing hexacyclic spiro products, hexahydrospiro[pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline‐4,1‐pyrrolo[3,2,1‐ij]quinoline‐2′,5(1H,4′H)‐diones]. Comparable spiro condensation products are also obtained using 4‐hydroxy‐2H‐1‐benzopyran‐2‐one in place of cyclohexane‐1,3‐diones.  相似文献

The processes of lactic acid production include two key stages, which are (a) fermentation and (b) product recovery. In this study, free cell of Bifidobacterium longum was used to produce lactic acid from cheese whey. The produced lactic acid was then separated and purified from the fermentation broth using combination of nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes. Nanofiltration membrane with a molecular weight cutoff of 100–400 Da was used to separate lactic acid from lactose and cells in the cheese whey fermentation broth in the first step. The obtained permeate from the above nanofiltration is mainly composed of lactic acid and water, which was then concentrated with a reverse osmosis membrane in the second step. Among the tested nanofiltration membranes, HL membrane from GE Osmonics has the highest lactose retention (97 ± 1%). In the reverse osmosis process, the ADF membrane could retain 100% of lactic acid to obtain permeate with water only. The effect of membrane and pressure on permeate flux and retention of lactose/lactic acid was also reported in this paper.  相似文献

A three‐step method for the deposition of CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite films with a high crystalline structure and large cuboid overlayer morphology is reported. The method includes PbI2 deposition, which is followed by dipping into a solution of C4H9NH3I (BAI) and (BA)2PbI4 perovskite formation. In the final step, the poorly thermodynamically stable (BA)2PbI4 phase converts into the more stable CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite by dipping into a solution of CH3NH3I. The final product is characterized by XRD, SEM, UV/Vis, and photoluminescence analysis methods. The experimental results indicate that the prepared perovskite has cuboids with high crystallinity and large sizes (up to 1 μm), as confirmed by XRD and SEM data. Photovoltaic investigations show that the three‐step method results in higher solar cell efficiency (15 % enhancement in efficiency) with a better reproducibility than the conventional two‐step deposition method.  相似文献

We consider quantum excitation energy transport (EET) in a network of two-state nodes in the Markovian approximation by employing the Lindblad formulation. We find that EET from an initial site, where the excitation is inserted to the sink, is generally inefficient due to the inhibition of transport by localization of the excitation wave packet in a symmetric, fully-connected network. We demonstrate that the EET efficiency can be significantly increased up to ≈100% by perturbing hopping transport between the initial node and the one connected directly to the sink, while the rate of energy transport is highest at a finite value of the hopping parameter. We also show that prohibiting hopping between the other nodes which are not directly linked to the sink does not improve the efficiency. We show that external dephasing noise in the network plays a constructive role for EET in the presence of localization in the network, while in the absence of localization it reduces the efficiency of EET. We also consider the influence of off-diagonal disorder in the hopping parameters of the network.  相似文献

We perform a thorough investigation of Lifshitz-like metrics with hyperscaling violation (hvLif) in four-dimensional theories of gravity coupled to an arbitrary number of scalars and vector fields, obtaining new solutions, electric, magnetic, and dyonic, that include the known ones as particular cases. After establishing some general results on the properties of purely hvLif solutions, we apply the previous formalism to the case of ${\mathcal {N}}=2,~d=4$ supergravity in the presence of Fayet–Iliopoulos terms, obtaining particular solutions to the $t^3$ -model, and explicitly embedding some of them in Type-IIB string theory.  相似文献

Currently, developing a stable nanocarrier with high cellular internalization and low toxicity is a key bottleneck in nanomedicine. Here, we have developed a successful method to covalently conjugate poly(methyl vinyl ether‐co‐maleic acid) (PMVE‐MA) copolymer on the surface of (3‐aminopropyl)triethoxysilane‐functionalized thermally carbonized porous silicon nanoparticles (APSTCPSi NPs), forming a surface negatively charged nanovehicle with unique properties. This polymer conjugated NPs could modify surface smoothness, charge, and hydrophilicity of the developed NPs, leading to considerable improvement in the colloidal and plasma stabilities via enhanced suspensibility and charge repulsion. Furthermore, despite the surface negative charge of the polymer‐conjugated NPs, the cellular internalization was increased in both MDA‐MB‐231 and MCF‐7 breast cancer cells. These results provide a proof‐of‐concept evidence that such polymer‐based PSi nanocomposite can be extensively used as a promising candidate for intracellular drug delivery.
