Two sensitive, simple and rapid UV and second order derivative spectrophotometric methods were developed for the determination of nizatidine and ranitidine hydrochloride in pure form and pharmaceutical preparations. For the first method, UV spectrophotometic method, nizatidine was determined at 325 nm and ranitidine at 325.5 nm with detection limits of 0.07 and 0.04 μg/mL, respectively. For the second method, the distances between two extremum values (peak-to-peak amplitudes), 328/356.5 nm for nizatidine and 326/357 nm for ranitidine were measured in the second order derivative-spectra. The detection limits were found to be 0.02 μg/mL for nizatidine and 0.016 μg/mL for ranitidine, respectively. The thermal analysis of the two drugs was studied by Thermogravimetric Analysis-Differential Scanning Calorimetry (TGA-DSC) techniques. Enthalpy changes were obtained 121.9 and 124.15 J/g for nizatidine and ranitidine, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of pharmaceutical preparations. The results were in good agreement with those obtained using the reference method; no significant difference were found in the accuracy and precision as revealed by the accepted values of t- and F-tests.  相似文献

Although the sonophotodynamic method has an effective therapeutic outcome for anticancer treatment compared with the photodynamic method, there are not enough related studies in the literature and this study aims to contribute to the development of sonophotodynamic studies. For this purpose, the Schiff base substituted silicon phthalocyanines were designed and synthesized as effective sensitizer candidates and the photophysicochemical and sonophotochemical features of the phthalocyanines were examined to increase singlet oxygen efficiency. The calculated ΦΔ values indicate that the contribution of substituent groups improved the production of singlet oxygen compared with silicon (IV) phthalocyanine dichloride (SiPcCI2) and also the sonophotochemical applications increased the singlet oxygen yields. The ΦΔ values (ΦΔ = 0.76 for axially bis-{4-[(E)-(pyridin-3-ylimino)methyl]phenol} substituted silicon (IV) phthalocyanine ( 2a ), 0.68 for axially bis-4-[(E)-{[(pyridin-3-yl)methyl]imino}methyl]phenol substituted silicon (IV) phthalocyanine ( 2b ) in photochemical study) reached to ΦΔ = 0.98 for 2a , 0.94 for 2b in sonophotochemical study. This article will enrich the literature on increasing singlet oxygen yield.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to determine the cutaneous wound healing effects of the ethanol extract of Cotinus coggygria leaves in rats by excision wound model to provide scientific evidence for the traditional use of C. coggygria Scop. The levels of malondialdehyde, catalase, superoxide dismutase, glutathione and hydroxyproline were investigated in wound tissues. Histopathological examination was also performed. The hydroxyproline content of the granulation tissue and the glutathione levels were both significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (p < 0.05 for both); while the malondialdehyde levels were significantly lower in the treatment group (p < 0.05). These results were supported with histological results. The ethanol extract of C. coggygria Scop could be considered as an effective agent in wound healing in accordance with its traditional use.  相似文献

The NA60 experiment has measured muon pair production in In–In collisions at 158 AGeV at the CERN SPS. This paper presents a high statistics measurement of φμ μ meson production. Differential spectra, yields, mass and width are measured as a function of centrality and compared to previous measurements in other colliding systems at the same energy. The width of the rapidity distribution is found to be constant as a function of centrality, compatible with previous results. The decay muon polar angle distribution is measured in several reference frames. No evidence of polarization is found as a function of transverse momentum and centrality. The analysis of the p T spectra shows that the φ has a small radial flow, implying a weak coupling to the medium. The T eff parameter measured in In–In collisions suggests that the high value observed in Pb–Pb in the kaon channel is difficult to reconcile with radial flow alone. The absolute yield is compared to results in Pb–Pb collisions: though significantly smaller than measured by NA50 in the muon channel, it is found to exceed the NA49 and CERES data in the kaon channel at any centrality. The mass and width are found to be compatible with the PDG values at any centrality and at any p T : no evidence for in-medium modifications is observed.  相似文献

A novel, selective, sensitive and simple spectrophotometric method was developed and validated for the determination of the antidepressant duloxetine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical preparation. The method was based on the reaction of duloxetine hydrochloride with 1,2-naphthoquinone-4-sulphonate (NQS) in alkaline media to yield orange colored product. The formation of this complex was also confirmed by UV-visible, FTIR, 1H NMR, Mass spectra techniques and thermal analysis. This method was validated for various parameters according to ICH guidelines. Beer’s law is obeyed in a range of 5.0–60 μg/mL at the maximum absorption wavelength of 480 nm. The detection limit is 0.99 μg/mL and the recovery rate is in a range of 98.10–99.57%. The proposed methods was validated and applied to the determination of duloxetine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical preparation. The results were statistically analyzed and compared to those of a reference UV spectrophotometric method.  相似文献

Alterations in global DNA methylation are implicated in several pathobiological processes. The tissues stored as paraffin blocks represent an important source of DNA for retrospective genetic and epigenetic analysis on a large scale. Therefore, we developed the first capillary electrophoresis method able to measure global methylation in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) DNA extracts. A field-amplified sample injection capillary electrophoresis method with UV detection for the separation and quantification of cytosine and 5-methylcytosine released following DNA hydrolysis by means of formic acid was employed. Analytes were baseline-separated within 8 min by using 300 mM tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane phosphate pH 3.75 as the running buffer. With use of electrokinetic injection the limit of detection (LOD) in real sample was 0.1 nM, thus improving by about 400-fold the LOD of the previously described methods based on capillary electrophoresis. Sample extraction and purification were optimized so that evaluation of the DNA methylation degree was possible starting from 0.5-1 μg of DNA with intra- and interassay relative standard deviations for the 5-methylcytosine to total cytosine ratio of 2.0 and 3.2%, respectively. Because of its high accuracy and throughput, our method will be useful for large-scale applications to determine the implications of genomic DNA methylation levels in tumorigenesis.  相似文献

This paper describes the concept, design, development, and testing and evaluation of a hybrid energy-dissipation device, the active slip bracing device (ASBD). The device is a Coulomb-friction-based energy dissipater. It consists of multiple friction surfaces and an active clamping (normal) force mechanism. The ASBD is installed as part of the structural bracing in buildings. It will activate under low amplitude vibrations for assuring human comfort, and also under large amplitudes to avoid or reduce damage to the building, and to enhance the safety and comfort level of its occupants during high winds and earthquakes. The device was tested in a uniaxial testing frame. Experimental results reveal that the ASBD is a viable device with linear friction and energy-dissipation characteristics. The prototype device has proven to be reliable and durable.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain the discrete optimality system of an optimal harvesting problem. While maximizing a combination of the total expected utility of the consumption and of the terminal size of a population, as a dynamic constraint, we assume that the density of the population is modeled by a stochastic quasi-linear heat equation. Finite-difference and symplectic partitioned Runge–Kutta (SPRK) schemes are used for space and time discretizations, respectively. It is the first time that a SPRK scheme is employed for the optimal control of stochastic partial differential equations. Monte-Carlo simulation is applied to handle expectation appearing in the cost functional. We present our results together with a numerical example. The paper ends with a conclusion and an outlook to future studies, on further research questions and applications.  相似文献

In December 2020, the U.K. authorities reported to the World Health Organization (WHO) that a new COVID-19 variant, considered to be a variant under investigation from December 2020 (VUI-202012/01), was identified through viral genomic sequencing. Although several other mutants were previously reported, VUI-202012/01 proved to be about 70% more transmissible. Hence, the usefulness and effectiveness of the newly U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved COVID-19 vaccines against these new variants are doubtfully questioned. As a result of these unexpected mutants from COVID-19 and due to lack of time, much research interest is directed toward assessing secondary metabolites as potential candidates for developing lead pharmaceuticals. In this study, a marine-derived fungus Aspergillus terreus was investigated, affording two butenolide derivatives, butyrolactones I (1) and III (2), a meroterpenoid, terretonin (3), and 4-hydroxy-3-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)benzaldehyde (4). Chemical structures were unambiguously determined based on mass spectrometry and extensive 1D/2D NMR analyses experiments. Compounds (1–4) were assessed for their in vitro anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, and in silico COVID-19 main protease (Mpro) and elastase inhibitory activities. Among the tested compounds, only 1 revealed significant activities comparable to or even more potent than respective standard drugs, which makes butyrolactone I (1) a potential lead entity for developing a new remedy to treat and/or control the currently devastating and deadly effects of COVID-19 pandemic and elastase-related inflammatory complications.  相似文献
