The title salt, C18H22N5+·Cl?, is a member of a new series of lipophilic 4,6‐di­amino spiro‐s‐triazines which are potent in­hib­itors of di­hydro­folate reductase. The protonated triazine ring deviates from planarity, whereas the cyclo­hexane ring adopts a chair conformation. A rather unusual hydrogen‐bonding scheme exists in the crystal. There is a centrosymmetric arrangement involving two amino groups and two triazine ring N atoms, with graph‐set R(8) and an N?N distance of 3.098 (3) Å, flanked by two additional R(8) systems, involving two amino groups, a triazine ring N atom and a Cl? anion, with N?Cl distances in the range 3.179 (2)–3.278 (2) Å. Furthermore, the Cl? anion, the protonated triazine ring N atom and an amino group form a hydrogen‐bonding system with graph‐set R(6).  相似文献

The dilute solution properties of linear polybutadienes with dimethylamine and zwitterionic end groups were studied by membrane osmometry (MO), low-angle laser light scattering (LALLS), viscometry, and dynamic light scattering (DLS) in cyclohexane. The polymers were prepared by anionic polymerization, under high vacuum conditions using [3-(dimethylamino)propyl]lithium as initiator. The dimethylamine groups were converted to zwitterions by reaction with cyclopropane sultone. No evidence of association was found for the amine-capped polymers, whereas the zwitterionic samples exhibited strong association in cyclohexane. The degrees of association increase by decreasing molecular weight of the base polymer due to the excluded volume repulsions. These aggregation numbers are of the same order as those found for ω-functionalized polyisoprenes, with the same polar groups in the same solvent. The hydrodynamic properties, measured by viscometry and dynamic light scattering, supported the conclusions drawn by LALLS and provide strong evidence that the aggregates behave hydrodynamically as star polymers. Comparison with theoretical models shows that the association behavior is best described by the linear head packing model. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Molecular inclusion of guest molecules within CDs is known to alter guest molecule spectrophotometric absorptivity, making their determination, based on spectrophotometric data, inaccurate. Therefore specific analytical methods capable of quantifying the drugs as free molecules must be developed and validated. SPE was selected to simplify sample and avoid more time‐consuming alternatives. A new solid phase was synthesized and characterized by infrared spectrometry, differential scanning calorimetry and elemental analysis. The competitive complexation of adamantane groups immobilized on the silica substrate facilitates drug:CD complex dissociation and elimination of CD from samples. The drug molecules, now free from CD, can be easily analysed by an already available HPLC method. This new SPE loading material was employed in the determination of ketoprofen in its CD complex as a representative example of the utility of this novel material. The calculated analytical errors were reduced from a maximum of 20.79% (without SPE) to a minimum of 3.99%.  相似文献

The analysis of information derived from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy (MRS) has been identified as an important indicator for discriminating among different brain pathologies. The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficiency of the combination of textural MRI features and MRS metabolite ratios by means of a pattern recognition system in the task of discriminating between meningiomas and metastatic brain tumors. The data set consisted of 40 brain MR image series and their corresponding spectral data obtained from patients with verified tumors. The pattern recognition system was designed employing the support vector machines classifier with radial basis function kernel; the system was evaluated using an external cross validation process to render results indicative of the generalization performance to “unknown” cases. The combination of MR textural and spectroscopic features resulted in 92.15% overall accuracy in discriminating meningiomas from metastatic brain tumors. The fusion of the information derived from MRI and MRS data might be helpful in providing clinicians a useful second opinion tool for accurate characterization of brain tumors.  相似文献

Low molar mass (∼ 4000) di- and triblock copolymers of styrene and tert-butyl acrylate were synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) in bulk and solution conditions. A CuBr/N, N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) catalyst system in conjunction with an alkyl-halide initiator were used to control the synthesis of the polystyrene macroinitiator and the subsequent copolymerization with tert-butyl acrylate. Hydrolysis of the tert-butyl acrylate blocks to acrylic acid blocks in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid resulted in the formation of an amphiphilic block copolymer. Size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and matrix assisted laser desorption ionization - time of flight - mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) were used to determine the molar mass and molar mass distribution of the polystyrene macroinitiators and the block copolymers. 1H NMR was used to characterize the polystyrene macroinitiators and the block copolymers, and to confirm hydrolysis of the poly(tert-butyl acrylate) blocks to poly(acrylic acid).  相似文献

Three-dimensional (3D) texture analysis of volumetric brain magnetic resonance (MR) images has been identified as an important indicator for discriminating among different brain pathologies. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of 3D textural features using a pattern recognition system in the task of discriminating benign, malignant and metastatic brain tissues on T1 postcontrast MR imaging (MRI) series. The dataset consisted of 67 brain MRI series obtained from patients with verified and untreated intracranial tumors. The pattern recognition system was designed as an ensemble classification scheme employing a support vector machine classifier, specially modified in order to integrate the least squares features transformation logic in its kernel function. The latter, in conjunction with using 3D textural features, enabled boosting up the performance of the system in discriminating metastatic, malignant and benign brain tumors with 77.14%, 89.19% and 93.33% accuracy, respectively. The method was evaluated using an external cross-validation process; thus, results might be considered indicative of the generalization performance of the system to "unseen" cases. The proposed system might be used as an assisting tool for brain tumor characterization on volumetric MRI series.  相似文献

The micellization properties of well‐defined block copolymers of styrene and decyl methacrylate (SDMA) were studied in two different solvents, methyl acetate (MAc) selective for the polystyrene (PS) block and dodecane, selective for the poly(decyl methacrylate) (PDMA) block. The results were compared with those obtained, in the same solvents, from block copolymers of styrene and stearyl methacrylate (SSMA). In MAc, SDMA copolymers with a decyl methacrylate (DMA) content of 15% or less formed unimolecular micelles, whereas those with a content of 18.5% or higher formed multimolecular micelles. The degrees of association were lower than the corresponding SSMA samples. In dodecane, SDMA form large, monodisperse, spherical, and thermally stable micelles with degrees of association higher than the corresponding SSMA samples. The different behaviors can be attributed to the steric hindrance effect and the ability of the long alkyl groups of the polymethacrylate, MA blocks to crystallize. When the MA blocks are in the soluble corona of the micelles, the steric hindrance effect prevails, thus leading to higher degrees of association for the less bulky alkyl group. In the case where the MA block is in the insoluble core of the micelles, the higher the tendency for crystallization the higher the degree of association. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this work, the synthesis of 6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-N,N-di -n-propyl-1H-benz[g]indol-7-amine (1) is described. This compound was designed as an indole bioisostere to the known dopamine receptor agonist 5-OH-aminotetraline 2 . The key step of the synthesis was a Mukaiyama type aldol condensation between the dimethyl acetal of 1-(p-toluenesulfonyl)pyrrole-3-acetaldehyde ( 4 ) and 4-di-n-propylamino-1-trimethylsilyloxycyclohexene ( 8 ) followed by cycloaromatization to afford 1-p-toluenesulfonyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-N,N-di-n- propyl-1H-benz[g]indol-7-amine ( 10 ). Scission of the sulfonamide bond in 10 gave the target compound 1 . A byproduct which was isolated was assigned to the structure of 1-(p-toluenesul-fonyl)-6-[3-[1-(p-toluenesulfonyl)]pyrrolyl]indole ( 11 ). This compound was also synthesized in good yield by an acid catalyzed dimerization of the dimethyl acetal of 1-(p-toluenesulfonyl)pyrrole-3-acetaldehyde ( 4 ). Preliminary screening of 1 indicated that it possesses central dopamine receptor agonist properties.  相似文献

Cyclodextrins are known to alter the absorptivity of the guest molecules, therefore, analytical methods that are based on the spectrophotometric data present accuracy problems. In this work, using RP-HPLC methods for naproxen-cyclodextrins quantitation, extensive analytical inaccuracies are detected. Competitive complexation technique is utilised in an attempt to develop an analytical method enabling the determination of naproxen as a free drug. For this reason, stationary phases with silica ligands that can function as competing agents were used, thus contributing to the drug release. The release of the drug from cyclodextrins complexes is achieved by modification of the thermodynamic parameters that determine the stability constant, by changing: the interactions with the mobile phase components (e.g. pH, organic modifier, competitive agents) and the interactions with the stationary phase ligands (C8). After studying the parameters affecting the interaction between the alkyl-chain C8 and naproxen:cyclodextrin complexes, we developed and validated a new specific method for the accurate determination of the drug. Consecutive accumulation of the cyclodextrins molecules on the stationary phase was studied.  相似文献
