This paper considers a single product inventory control in a Distribution Supply Chain (DSC). The DSC operates in the presence of uncertainty in customer demands. The demands are described by imprecise linguistic expressions that are modelled by discrete fuzzy sets. Inventories at each facility within the DSC are replenished by applying periodic review policies with optimal order up-to-quantities. Fuzzy customer demands imply fuzziness in inventory positions at the end of review intervals and in incurred relevant costs per unit time interval. The determination of the minimum of defuzzified total cost of the DSC is a complex problem which is solved by applying decomposition; the original problem is decomposed into a number of simpler independent optimisation subproblems, where each retailer and the warehouse determine their optimum periodic reviews and order up-to-quantities. An iterative coordination mechanism is proposed for changing the review periods and order up-to-quantities for each retailer and the warehouse in such a way that all parties within the DSC are satisfied with respect to total incurred costs per unit time interval. Coordination is performed by introducing fuzzy constraints on review periods and fuzzy tolerances on retailers and warehouse costs in local optimisation subproblems.  相似文献

Two most widely used approaches to treating goals of different importance in goal programming (GP) are: (1) weighted GP, where importance of goals is modelled using weights, and (2) preemptive priority GP, where a goal hierarchy is specified implying infinite trade-offs among goals placed in different levels of importance. These approaches may be too restrictive in modelling of real life decision making problems. In this paper, a novel fuzzy goal programming method is proposed, where the hierarchical levels of the goals are imprecisely defined. The imprecise importance relations among the goals are modelled using fuzzy relations. An additive achievement function is defined, which takes into consideration both achievement degrees of the goals and degrees of satisfaction of the fuzzy importance relations. Examples are given to illustrate the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper provides mathematical modelling for prefabricated timber-framed walls composed of a timber frame and fibre-plaster boards. Because the tensile strength of the fibre-plaster boards is approximately 10-times lower than the compressive one, it is convenient to strengthen the boards in their tensile diagonal direction with carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) strips, which are glued to the boards. Based on analysis of experimental research results [M. Premrov, P. Dobrila, B.S. Bedenik, Analysis of timber-framed walls coated with CFRP strips strengthened fibre-plaster boards, Int. J. Solids Struct. 41 (24/25) (2004) 7035–7048] special approximate mathematical models have been developed. The models enable simultaneously to consider the influence of inserted CFRP strips, flexibility of mechanical fasteners in the connecting areas and any appearing of tensile cracks in the coating boards.  相似文献

In this paper, a new predictive-reactive approach to a parallel machine scheduling problem in the presence of uncertain disruptions is presented. The approach developed is based on generating a predictive schedule that absorbs the effects of possible uncertain disruptions through adding idle times to the job processing times. The uncertain disruption considered is material shortage, described by the number of disruption occurrences and disruption repair period. These parameters are specified imprecisely and modelled using fuzzy sets. If the impact of a disruption is too high to be absorbed by the predictive schedule, a rescheduling action is carried out. This approach has been applied to solving a real-life scheduling problem of a pottery company.  相似文献

This paper presents a new multi-objective approach to a single machine scheduling problem in the presence of uncertainty. The uncertain parameters under consideration are due dates of jobs. They are modelled by fuzzy sets where membership degrees represent decision maker’s satisfaction grade with respect to the jobs’ completion times. The two objectives defined are to minimise the maximum and the average tardiness of the jobs. Due to fuzziness in the due dates, the two objectives become fuzzy too. In order to find a job schedule that maximises the aggregated satisfaction grade of the objectives, a hybrid algorithm that combines a multi-objective genetic algorithm with local search is developed. The algorithm is applied to solve a real-life problem of a manufacturing pottery company.  相似文献

This paper deals with a problem of determining lot-sizes of jobs in a real-world job shop-scheduling in the presence of uncertainty. The main issue discussed in this paper is lot-sizing of jobs. A fuzzy rule-based system is developed which determines the size of lots using the following premise variables: size of the job, the static slack of the job, workload on the shop floor, and the priority of the job. Both premise and conclusion variables are modelled as linguistic variables represented by using fuzzy sets (apart from the priority of the job which is a crisp value). The determined lots’ sizes are input to a fuzzy multi-objective genetic algorithm for job shop scheduling. Imprecise jobs’ processing times and due dates are modelled by using fuzzy sets. The objectives that are used to measure the quality of the generated schedules are average weighted tardiness of jobs, the number of tardy jobs, the total setup time, the total idle time of machines and the total flow time of jobs. The developed algorithm is analysed on real-world data obtained from a printing company.  相似文献
