Zusammenfassung Es werden einige weitere Anwendungen der von edivec und Vaák beschriebenen und von Ginsberg für die Bleibestimmung in Aluminium empfohlenen Analysenmethode angegeben. Aus einer cyanid-, tartrat- und citrathaltigen Lösung wird das Blei als farbloser Blei-Diäthyldithiocarbaminatkomplex ausgezogen und mit Kupfersulfatlösung zum braunen Kupfer-DDC-Komplex umgesetzt. Die Methode ist auf Kupfer- und Aluminiumlegierungen (0,001–2% enthaltend) und auf Eisen und Stahl (0,01–2%), wenigstens für die heutzutage darin anwesenden Bleimengen, und auf Aschen und Destruktionsrückstände anwendbar.Die Abtrennung von Wismut mittels Diäthylammonium-diäthyldithiocarbaminat wird beschrieben.  相似文献

N-Heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs, :C ) can interact with azolium salts ( C−H+ ) by either forming a hydrogen-bonded aggregate ( CHC+ ) or a covalent C−C bond ( CCH+ ). In this study, the intramolecular NHC–azolium salt interactions of aromatic imidazolin-2-ylidenes and saturated imidazolidin-2-ylidenes have been investigated in the gas phase by traveling wave ion mobility mass spectrometry (TW IMS) and DFT calculations. The TW IMS experiments provided evidence for the formation of these important intermediates in the gas phase, and they identified the predominant aggregation mode (hydrogen bond vs. covalent C−C) as a function of the nature of the interacting carbene–azolium pairs.  相似文献

Inhomogeneous Markov chains are a relevant framework for analysing event histories. The fundamental estimator in the presence of incompletely observed data is the Nelson-Aalen estimator of the multivariate cumulative hazards. It may be summarised in terms of probability estimates via the empirical transition matrix. The empirical transition matrix has only slowly entered applications, one reason being previous lack of software. In a number of applications, further summary measures are desired. We illustrate how they may be computed from the empirical transition matrix and why bootstrapping their variance works. In contrast, computing such summaries outside the present framework has typically led to biased results. As an example, we consider in more detail hospital stay following infectious complication. This summary quantity is often considered by clinical decision makers, but reliable estimates require modelling the timing of infection as in the present set-up. In this context, we also derive new summary measures that further distinguish between patients discharged and patients deceased.  相似文献

Reactive oxygen species are continuously generated during oxygen metabolism, and a measurable amount of oxidative DNA damage exists in aerobic organisms. By the determination of Fpg-sensitive sites in mammalian cells in culture, we assessed the background level of oxidative DNA damage and its potential increase by extracellularly applied complexes of iron(III). In V79 Chinese hamster cells the endogenous level of Fpg-sensitive modifications is detectable, but the extent is much lower as compared with results derived from other analytical methods. In V79 cells, the frequency of Fpg-sensitive modifications is considerably enhanced by Fe-NTA in a time- and dose-dependent manner, while no increase is observed after treatment with Fe-citrate. These results indicate that the ability of transition metals to generate oxidative DNA damage in intact cells strongly depends on factors like uptake and intracellular distribution, which will affect the intracellular availability of redox-active metal ions close to critical targets.  相似文献

Noninvasive, real‐time pharmacokinetic (PK) monitoring of ketamine, propofol, and valproic acid, and their metabolites was achieved in mice, using secondary electrospray ionization and high‐resolution mass spectrometry. The PK profile of a drug influences its efficacy and toxicity because it determines exposure time and levels. The antidepressant and anaesthetic ketamine (Ket) and four Ket metabolites were studied in detail and their PK was simultaneously determined following application of different sub‐anaesthetic doses of Ket. Bioavailability after oral administration vs. intraperitoneal injection was also investigated. In contrast to conventional studies that require many animals to be sacrificed even for low‐resolution PK curves, this novel approach yields real‐time PK curves with a hitherto unmatched time resolution (10 s), and none of the animals has to be sacrificed. This thus represents a major step forward not only in animal welfare, but also major cost and time savings.  相似文献

In this contribution, we introduce a multiobjective optimization used to calculate safe optimal working points for a mechatronic system by including stochastic safety-critical signals in an objective function. Our application example consists of a linear drive for a rail-bound vehicle and an actuation unit. The linear drive's secondary part is fixed; the primary part is vehicle-mounted and can be adjusted vertically to account for deviations of the height of the secondary part. A small air gap between both parts improves efficiency, but increases the risk of a collision between the two parts. Using height data of the secondary part, a trajectory for the vertical adjustment of the primary part is calculated. However, unexpected deviations necessitate a readjustment of the air gap. The probability of such unexpected height deviations can be calculated from the readjustment data. The system is equipped with sensors to measure the air gap. Assuming that the sensor noise is normally distributed, noise characteristics are determined. Using this information and the probability distribution of unexpected height deviations, the probability of a collision is determined.T he sensor noise and the probability of a collision between both parts of the linear drive are included in the dynamical model of the system. Using multiobjective optimization, pareto-optimal working points for the controller of the air gap are obtained. By selecting an appropriate working point, safe operation can be ensured. Cadmium(II) compounds are carcinogens but only weakly mutagens. Because Cd(II) at low micromolar concentrations stimulates cell growth and induces some proto-oncogenes with several mammalian cell lines, the stimulation of cell proliferation is discussed as a major mechanism of the carcinogenicity of this metal. In the present work, the induction of the cellular proto-oncogenes c-fos and c-jun by Cd(II) was studied in rat PC12 cells. Several cellular signal transduction elements were tested as mediators of the proto-oncogene induction by cadmium. Cd(II) does not evoke mobilization of free intracellular Ca2+ in PC12 cells, and there was no impairment of the effect of Cd(II) by inhibitors of protein kinase A or of MAPK kinase. However, bisindolylmaleimide I, a specific inhibitor of protein kinase C abolished the proto-oncogene induction by Cd(II). Hence, a critical role for protein kinase C in the mitogenic effect of Cd(II) is inferred, and a substitution of structural Zn2+ ions by Cd2+ ions in this enzyme is discussed as the putative mechanism.
