In the multiferroic materials, the dielectric and magnetic properties are closely correlated through the coupling interaction between the ferroelectric and magnetic order. We attempted to determine the magnetoelectric coupling coefficient from the temperature dependences of the dielectric permittivity for multiferroic Bi5Ti3FeO15. Multiferroic ceramics Bi5Ti3FeO15 belong to materials of the Aurivillius-type structure. Multiferroic ceramics Bi5Ti3FeO15 was synthesized via sintering the Bi2O3 and Fe2O3 mixture and TiO2 oxides. The precursor material was ground in a high-energy attritorial mill for 5 hours. This material was obtained by a solid-state reaction process at T = 1313 K. We investigated the temperature dependences of the dielectric permittivity for the different frequencies. From the dielectric measurements, we determined the temperature of phase transition of the ferroelectric-to-paraelectric type at about 1013 K. Based on dielectric measurements and theoretical considerations, the values of the magnetoelectric coupling coefficient were specified. 相似文献

Small (4 nm) nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution, exceptional surface purity, and increased surface order, which exhibits itself as an increased presence of basal crystallographic planes, can be obtained without the use of any surfactant. These nanoparticles can be used in many applications in an as‐received state and are threefold more active towards a model catalytic reaction (oxidation of ethylene glycol). Furthermore, the superior properties of this material are interesting not only due to the increase in their intrinsic catalytic activity, but also due to the exceptional surface purity itself. The nanoparticles can be used directly (i.e., as‐received, without any cleaning steps) in biomedical applications (i.e., as more efficient drug carriers due to an increased number of adsorption sites) and in energy‐harvesting/data‐storage devices. 相似文献

Herein, a study of the plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) of niobium in an anodising bath composed of potassium silicate (K2SiO3) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) is reported. The effects of the K2SiO3 concentration in the bath and the process voltage on the characteristics of the obtained oxide layers were assessed. Compact, barrier-type oxide layers were obtained when the process voltage did not exceed the breakdown potential of the oxide layer. When this threshold was breached, the morphology of the oxide layer changed markedly, which is typical of PEO. A significant amount of silicon, in the form of amorphous silica, was incorporated into the oxide coatings under these conditions compared with the amount obtained with conventional anodising. This surface modification technique led to an improvement in the corrosion resistance of niobium in Ringer’s solution, regardless of the imposed process conditions. 相似文献

In this paper the multicomponent PZT-type solid solution doped by barium, calcium, strontium, bismuth and germanium with composition: Pb0.975Ba0.01Ca0.01Sr0.005(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 + 1.4 wt.% Bi2O3 + 0.3 wt.% GeO obtained by hot uniaxial pressing method is described. The results of structural, dielectric, ferroelectric and electromechanical studies of these ceramics are presented. It has been stated that introduction to the basic composition PZT admixtures of the barium, calcium, strontium, bismuth and germanium has a positive effect on the electro-physic parameters of obtained ceramic samples. This material has good microstructure, with high value of the dielectric permittivity (with the high temperature of phase transition) as well as low dielectric losses. It allows considering this material as elements for low frequency and high temperature electromechanical transducers. 相似文献
